I found a version of this on the internet, and I knew I had to get it...It hooked me for an hour and a half then, and It's the game I played the most since I got my DS (with the exception of Mario 64). Here's some things you might like to know if you want to buy it.Playstyle:Match animals in groups of 3 or more, with a few extra modes (more about that later), and thats about it. If you ever played Bejewelled or Diamond Mine you'll know exactly what to expoect of the basic game.Gameplay: Not much original, but addictive funDid I mention addictive? It really is...especially if you compete with somebody for high scores! There are a few modes:Normal: match a certain number of each type of animal to level up (Great for a quick blast)Tokaton: match 100 of each type of animal to level up. The hardest apart from quest to get a good score in, and my favourite. (Better for slightly longer sessions...each go can last upwards of half an hour if you're really going for it:)Quest: Do 10 tasks for the boss, scoring points according to how well you did. This one takes a bit of working out, but is a fun twist on the main game, and a great way to hone your skills.Like I mentioned its addictive, and reputedly less hard than Polarium (the other release day puzzle game)Graphics: Nothing special, but good enoughUnique blocky animal icons, bright colours...It looks like a kids game (and lets face it a kid could probably cope with this) but its pretty enough to look at and that will do for me.If you love puzzle games you should get this, and even if you don't play them much, this one is easy enough to get into that you should give it a chance if you can:)

I love puzzle games. I own Tetris and Mr Driller for the DS and I think they're great, but I bought Zoo Keeper for half the price of either of these and it blows the competition away. For one thing you can actually play ZK with the stylus. Tetris and Mr. Driller play like slightly upgraded versions of their GBA versions. Good but hardly original. Zoo Keeper, on the other hand, is based on the 'Bejewelled' PC game which is designed to be played with the mouse, a puzzle game begging for the DS treatment.More addictive than Polarium and Meteos combined, simpler to learn than Tetris, cuter graphics than Mr. Driller. In short, it's a brilliant game. There aren't too many playing options but the main modes are so awesome that that's not a problem. I've played the two-player version with my girlfriend (it's a one-cart 2 player mode, by the way) and it's lots of fun too.In short, if you want DS's version of Tetris, *don't* buy Tetris DS, save yourself some money and buy this little gem.

This game is one of the most addictive games I have played in a long time. Though the graphics don't show the full potential of the NDS, the entire game is played using the very cool stylus and touch pad.Zoo Keeper offers four different modes of play, plus the multiplayer version, where you are set different goals in each game. You advance in the game by matching vertical and/or horizontal lines of three or more animals. The only downside is that after a while, the game can get repetitive as you're basically doing the same thing in each level, only with different targets. However, this is the kind of game where you can get really obsessed about it,playing just so you can beat the highest score.

I recieved this game free in a bundle with my DS and I thought it was going to be fairly poor. I'm pleased to say that I was very wrong!I also had Super Mario for the DS, but have played Zoo Keeper far more. I have what can only be described as an obsession with trying to beat all of my high scores! The best modes are Time Attack and Tokoton.I also like the fact that you don't have to use the touch screen, you can also use the D-pad and other buttons. The only downside to this type of play is that it takes longer for you to move between animal combinations. All in all, an excellent game and one that is definitely suitable for all ages.

Perfect for people who love puzzle games such as tetris, this game is bejewelled with cute animals, hence better! It could have been better in its presentation and polish. But when the game is so simple and addictive, does it really matter? And the wierd chatter in the speech bubbles when you finish a game, complete with grammatical errors, can be seen as daft and charming rather than annoying! I sense it was a mistake made in the translation of the game, but again, what the hey! Enjoy.

This is a classic - there is nothing original in all of this but it really is a must have game. Group animals into 3s or more and they disappear to be replaced by more animals. As I say nothing oroginal - the same as "Puyo Pop" and countless others but it's addictive AND it's got the most irritatng "music" I have ever heard. Half an hours play and the music is in your brain forever. As far as I am concerned it's the best first day release for the DS. You need this game - honest you do

This game has hardly left my DS cartridge slot. Everyone is addicted to trying to beat each others scores, 5.5 million is my best score and this was still before the 'ending' sequence concluded the 'end'.This game is not one to 'finish'. Its more a case of if you feel like a game on it or not. It never bores and is easily one of the very best titles on DS.Also it can be bought for as little as £2.50 with P & P !!Get it it will not disappoint. Great, simple, addictive & fun.

Father - the price beat any retailer we visited hands down. For a used item the condition was 'as new', and swift delivery kept daily nagging of "has it come yet?" to an acceptable minimum.Daughter - despite having reached only the tender age of 8 I've (father again) learnt to interpret her worryingly 'teenage' sounding grunts. In reponse to enquiries about the new game rare eye contact was made and a suspicion of a smile graced her lips - praise indeed!

A classic game with good graphics and music. I normally play it on long long jornys, because if you satrt playing it you can't stop! You use the touch screen A LOT!Anyway a very good game.
