The Zalman CNPS9X Optima keeps the temp of my FX 8350 at mid 40's during extended loading. I ran Cinebench R20 continually for 3 runs to stress the CPU but temps were stable and peaked at 45c.The package includes thermal compound. I always apply with my finger in a plastic bag and spread it evenly and thinly. It stops the squish and mess from too much compound.The sound level is very quiet even under load, so very happy.
