This item arrived promptly and was well packed. It puzzles me why other reviews were concerned at its size, as it is not that big. It was very easy to assemble and use. I would agree that vegetables are best used cold from the fridge and the chunkier the better. There is a small stump of vegetable left at the end of the spiralizing but this is no big deal and can be chopped up by hand. I had no difficulty using the machine and was pleased with the results and I have used all three cutting attachments. It is stable and does not move across the worktop as some of the manual ones. It comes with a recipe book which is handy but with all the interest in low carb diets and calories,it would have been interesting to know the caloric value of te recipes but it is no deal breaker. I would certainly recommend this machine. I did a lot of research before I selected this make and model and went out to actually handle various spiralizers to see how sturdy they were and how easy to use. Of all the makes and models I saw, and from the reviews I read, I selected this one and I am very glad I did as it is great

I received my Extra Strong hand grips earlier today, they are not the kind of product that I need to use for weeks to give an accurate review. I purchased these as I have been doing lots of weights lately which has been great for my biceps, however my forearms are and always have been small and weak so I wanted to get something to make them a bit stronger. The grips are pretty good, I could push them all the way down straight away, and I don't really feel much in my forearms whilst using them, but I feel a lot in my hands, in my fingers especially as they hurt after use, but I guess this is because they are weak, and using the product will strengthen them.I am giving the review 4 stars because although it's not a major deal, and has been mentioned in the previous reviews the hand grips started to squeak after about 10 minutes, and they then squeak every time you push them down, which does become annoying, but other than that, they are well made, durable and I do believe that they will help me strengthen my hands/forearms with more use.

When I bought these they were called 'York Strong Grips'. Whether they're the same, I'm not sure, but I can't see any reference to other types of York grips. [UPDATE: They have changed the listing so that the 'strong' and extra strong' version can be bought within the same page by simply clicking on the desired option near the top of the page].Hand grips are fairly straightforward items, but what makes them good quality is a combination of consistent resistance after prolonged usage and also the firmness and durabliity of the foam comfort grip. Having used these for some time now, they are still as firm as they day they were bought and the foam grips have not slipped and still prvides a compftable grip (despite being in my 1-yr old's mouth a few times).Overall, good quality and a great low price.

They're great. They simply do the job. A bit of squeaking but that doesn't trouble me at all and I can just solve it with WD40 if I wanted to.The pads are nice and comfortable, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with small hands though. Also, don't hesitate going for the extra strong ones, they're not for athletes, they're just a bit harder to do. I got these because my hands were really weak and I wanted to bulk them up and the extra strong ones were fine, and I'm slowly getting better at them every day.I only took out one star because my hands are quickly being accustomed to doing 20 of these in one go so they're not really becoming a challenge anymore.Another great, functional and cheap York item with super fast delivery. Thanks

This is my 3rd york product off amazon and yet again it has a great build quality. There isn't that much to say about this other than its size, I got the extra strong ones, i'm not sure how big the just 'strong' ones are but these are probably just a little too big for my hands. Though I have got fairly small hands for my size and i'm only 5 foot 9". I can still use them though but they are pretty strong. They will still get easier as I build muscle so they will still do their job. The only people I wouldn't recommended this for is people that have really small hands. But overall it's a great product easy to carry around and do while doing other things like watching TV.

For the ppl complaining of squeaking just spray some wd40 on the coil and it will magically vanish (the squeaking not the coil)Anyway about the grippers.Unless you are very frail or weak go straight for the extra strong.I use these as either a warm up before i use the more "professional" grippers i have, or just as something to do while i sit in front of the box, as its easy to do endless reps (something i couldnt do with my 150 and 200lb grippers). At a complete guess, i would say the tension on the coil is about 80-100lb.I suppose they are good for beginners and for warm ups.

I bought these back in February because I was hoping that I could improve the strength in my hands and wrists as well as the overall size of my forearms. I find them very easy to use and I was able to quickly get into a routine of using them daily. Within two weeks, I immediately noticed some change in the size of my forearms which I was very happy about. The only issue I have now is that they do squeak everytime I use them, but that's probably because of how much I use them. I would definitely recommend this.

as someone else commented these grips are a tough squeeze but you are better off buying these than the weaker ones and getting used to them too quickly - where do you go after you have defeated the weaker grips and no further muscle building benefit can be gained from using them - these super tough ones are a better buy as even with strong hands it is going to take some months for me to easily squeeze off 20 - 30 - 40 repetitions without considerable effort and pain - all in all worth it recommended 10/10

Delivery wise it took the best part of a month. But.. they seem to be lasting better than the last pair I bought.Only used one and it seems to be lasting a while as generally the cheaper alternatives give way after less than a month. Feel reasonably comfortable and for the price they so far seem to be worth paying the little bit extra for.The last ones I bought were the Bruce Lee ones... (not recommended)Took about a month to get the "Item has dispatched" email but I am glad I stuck it out for them.

Ordered this item as I had felt my forearms and wrists needed strengthening, and what a good job they do! A few sets a day not only increased my grip strength, but also toned my forearms. Extremely comfortable handles/grips make it even more enjoyable, and what's more they come with the option of Strong or Extra Strong spring resistance depending on inital strength level..i chose strong. Definitely worth the small price they cost, and free super saver delivery made this all the better. Would recommend.

Not having a very good knowledge on handgrips i decided to order the strong handgrips. They came quickly in a few days and were packaged well. After using the handgrips for a while it came clear it was a worthwhile purchase. They fit my hands well (and mine are massive) and they give good resistance. Although i may need to upgrade to the extra-strong handgrips over time as they may not give enough resistance as i need for my strength but i see that as no problem as both handgrips are cheap!

Reading all of your reviews i wanted a pair so following a review from someone who said that the extra strong where too strong i opted for the normal strength and found them brilliant, the product is perfect and the right size as my hands, and also the perfrect strenght, not easy, but not too hard, as york describe on a workout poster for the dumbells, a challenge, by the way I need them for rugby, to strenghten my forearms, and these will also improve my grip/wrists/catch

These are a great set of handgrips to improve the strength of your grip and to develop your forearm muscles (which are difficult to work on in any other way). These handgrips are indeed very strong and do take some getting used to, if you haven't used handgrips before you might find them rather difficult. They are nicely padded so I found that my hands did not hurt at all afterwards, so if you are looking to improve your grip this is the best way to go.

Over the years I have owned several pairs of Grip Strengthener`s,& I`ve broken all of them(probably due to cheap construction). The York`s however feel lot more substantial & are fairlycomfortable to use. They do take a little bit more of effort to use than previousgrips, but even my missus uses them(well one at a time with bothhands!)& has commented on them firm up her breast.Good name, well made, worthy of 4 stars.

Item as described and arrived undamaged.I bought the extra strong handgrips after reading reviews saying that they weren't that hard. Probably a wise choice as I think the strong ones wouldn't last too long. With these ones it will take me time to build up my reps. I am quite a strong person for my age though. If you are regaining strength after an injury or are not a strong person I would recommend the strong pair.
