It's stayed FULLY inflated for 3 nights with an 18 stone guy sleeping on it. On the 4th day it needed a little inflation, but barely anything worth worrying about. Those that have said it deflated have most likely not put the bung in ALL the way as its a fairly tight seal and requires a good strong thumb. It is just short of 4ft wide, which just makes it big enough for a double in camping terms. But personally i would look for something wider on a long stay. Its snug.Yes it does smell when you deflate it, but so does everything you fill with air, be it a tyre, dingy boat, ect ect. Its nothing you wouldn't normally expect.Comfort? It is kinda firm fully inflated, which to me is fine. BUT,if you are used to something soft to sleep on, I'd recommend trying another bed. (Half inflated beds can leave parts of your body on the cold ground and cause problems in later life, just saying).Otherwise...BRILLIANT BUY, DEFINITELY WORTH IT!

I was staying with some friends during a holiday in Scotland and had this delivered to their apartment. The package was delivered very fast and arrived well before I did.I inflated it using a hairdryer (worked perfectly) the morning I arrived and lay on it a couple of times during the day. This is important as the mattress stretches with its first use and it's better to do this before your first sleep on it. After it stretched I topped up the air and spent my first night on it. It deflated a little due to more stretching but wasn't uncomfortable. The second night it didn't deflate at all.I highly recommend this air mattress for a temporary and cheap bed :)

Having this air bed reminds me of travelling first class on the train - once you've experienced it, you never want to go back! This air bed is really comfy, and the pocket structure means you're supported evenly all over and you don't roll in to your other half. Use it with a pump, it'll only take about 4 or 5 minutes. I did not find it leaked air at all unlike some reviewers. Blowing it up without a pump takes much longer (approx. 15 minutes) - I found out the hard way. It's ideal though, and makes such a difference to the comfort and sleep quality you get when camping. I can't recommend it enough.

I WAS VERY EXCITED TO BE TAKING MY BOYS CAMPING FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME THIS SUMMER,BUT WAS NOT SO EXCITED ABOUT HAVING TO SLEEP ON THE HARD TENT FLOOR.IT TOOK ME AGES TO GO THROUGH ALL THE REVIEWS OF DIFFERENT AIRBEDS AND WHEN I FOUND THIS ONE I KNEW THAT WAS THE ONE FOR ME.VERY COMFORTABLE IN FACT PROBABLY MORE COMFORTABLE THAN MY OWN BED AT HOME, SLEPT VERY WELL WITH MY FIVE YEAR OLD SON ON ONE SIDE AND ME ON THE OTHEREASY TO INFLATE, I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE YELLOW STONE FOOT PUMP TO BLOW IT UP WITH, WENT UP IN MINUTESI CANT WAIT TO GO CAMPING AGAIN.

I bought this for when we were moving into our new house as we had to wait 2 weeks until payday to get an actual bed! The air bed was ok, we put air into it every evening and went to sleep and woke up every morning lying on the ground as the air had gone, but it kept the air in long enough for us to fall asleep so it wasn't too bad. This airbed is perfect for when you have guests round or if you are going camping for a few nights so I would recommend for that, it's just annoying that the air goes but I'm sure most air beds are the same?

This airbed inflated quickly and proved adequate to the task of providing (reasonably) comfortable sleeping accommodation on the living room floor during the outlaws' recent visit. Said visit also involved 2 small children repeatedly jumping on it for an hour or so. It still seemed to be inflated the following day, which, again, is a point in its favour.Personally, I'd call this more of a one and a half sized airbed rather than a true double, especially if the individuals in question are of more generous proportions.

Bought this for our friends coming to visit us from overseas. Our previous experience with air mattresses has been flaky at best--most deflate over the course of the night, some have exploded beneath us, some have expelled the air pump with such force as to injure ourselves. This air mattress has done none of those things and has reportedly been comfier than the mattresses of hostels. So whether you're camping, entertaining, or having giant mattress fights with your buddies, this is a fast, cheap and valuable option.

I can not recommend this enough! It arrived on time and it is very comfortable to sleep on when pumped to the right pressure. It has an input and output for air which is very helpful when inflating and deflating! The bed has 2 sides: a soft side and a side which goes on the ground. It is a bit smaller than expected but that's probably because I am very tall hahah. It was nicely packaged and there was not a problem with it. All perfect and cheap! Recommended!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 2nd inflatable bed. My last one ( a different make) was good, more expensive but decided on a cheaper one this time as its not used that often. Great product, only has one air in/outlet which is ideal and it does the trick. Anyone who wants to buy one I would highly recommend this. Value for money and good quality. I use a motorised pump though otherwise it will take you ages to get this bad boy up

Great air bed. Was a bit worried that the air hole was rather large for the inflator but I used blue tak to adjust which worked fine! Once fully blown up lasted 2 nights camping with minimal deflation. The large hole has a 2 part stopper, 1 has a valve which stops air coming out when blowing it up, then a stopper. Both parts can then be removed to deflate the air bed & it deflates well.

Bought this for my holiday as the bed in the villa we rent regularly is really hard so thought I would give it trythe order turned up on time and worked well.had to blow up by mouth first time so would recommend a pump!! however stayed up for the whole 2 weeksjust need the occasional top-upput plenty of blankets on and it felt just like a real mattresshighly recommended

It was fantastic. It did the job it was bought for, and more.We bought all the camping gear two days before we went camping. We had had a very hectic year, what with my husband being ill, having moved in with my father-in-law, changing jobs, we just decided that we wanted to go camping, so we looked on the website and found it! And we're glad we did. Thank you so much

This is a really sturdy air bed. It held its air extremely well and when used for a week, it only had to have a bot of air put into it after night 4.It is also considerably quieter than other air beds that we have had in that it does not squeak every time you move.It will prove very handy as a guest bed.Would recommend.

Survived 5 days at Glastonbury. Only to die when i got home upon my next use.Im sure if in a careful environment it would last longer. But for the abuse it took at Glasto it held up pretty well.Good quality and tough. Had to top it up a little everyday but thats what you would expect.Would reccomend this to anyone
