Good points:~ Lasts ages.~ Not overpowering~ Doesn't give me a headache like most other candles~ brilliant aroma for cold winter nights in.Bad points:~ Expensive (But worth it)Review:I was given this candle for christmas one year from a close friend, and I have been looking for a cheaper version of it ever since, and have so far been unsuccessful. The trouble is its so good, nothing else even comes close.The aroma is perfectly ballanced, its not sweet and overpowering but nor is it bland and weak. I always find Yankee candles a tad expensive if I'm honest. I get that they burn for longer than most candles, but even so I'm always hesitant when deciding whether or not to purchase them. That might just be the student in me though!The candle itself was a Mother's Day present my mum bought for my grandmother - it smelled absolutely divine and my grandmother really loved it, so that's a plus! A friend of mine has the same candle in a large and it's one of her favourites, so it definitely smells great - sweet, fruity, but also a little spicy. Just lovely, really!I would've given it five stars if not for the price. I just think for over £15, you should really be able to buy a large, not just a medium.

I’ve been a huge Yankee Candle fan ever since my first visit to America back in the late 80’s.The fragrance for this candle is of a lush aroma of fresh-cut pine boughs and zesty berries.This is a great candle, not only does it smell lovely whilst it burns, when we extinguish the flame for the night then shut the living room door at night you can still smell the fragrance the morning after.This is one candle I’d defiantly recommend especially for during the November and December.Unfortunately for me this set off my hayfever, (that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars). I was really surprised but the smell of the fresh-cut pine had me constantly sneezing as it was so strong,

Love this candle! It has a good, strong Christmas tree scent - lots of resinous pine - with a hint of cranberry zing. I like this, I think it manages to include pine scent without straying into air freshener territory. The green colour is a pleasant medium shade that goes nicely with my red, green and gold Christmas decorations and contrasts with the darker green of the Perfect Tree candle. This candle scent has been discontinued in 2018.The brand don't put information about candle care on their jar candles, which is a shame - as keeping the wick trimmed, burning until the wax has pooled right the way across,

I've been buying Yankees candles for about 8/9 years,and I love them for myself and as gifts for other people.But I've noticed the last year or so,the quality of the fragrance isn't as good as it used to be, especially with the car jars,but i treated myself to this cabdle as at Christmas and i have to say,this smell/fragrance is really nice..I've got it in my kitchen,and it smells amazing and my kitchen isn't small,and u can smell it as soon as u enter the kitchen and lounge with one large candle,so it has restored my faith in yankee candles again.I would like to try the spiced orange as a car jar,but for some reason,I'm always disappointed with the car jars,so I've stopped buying them.

Yankee Candles provide good value in their mid market position, with attractive lidded jars and pleasant fragrances, although I would urge doing some in-store sniffing before purchase where possible to check the smell is to your taste.For best burning experience, keep the wick trimmed to no more than 3mm and use a candle snuffer to extinguish as that helps prevent the wax going everywhere.This is an attractively scented candle, perfect for dinner table, lounge, bedroom and as a secret Santa/stocking. The lid helps keep the dust off between burnings although this one smells so nice it is unlikely to get a chance to accumulate dust in this house.

I love Yankee Candles, especially fruity scents. They are a bit on the pricier side, but the large jar lasts a long time and the smell fills the room so I feel like it makes up for it.One thing I would say is if you buy a larger jar, make sure you have the time to burn it for a decent period of time so the melted wax can even out. Otherwise the candle won't melt properly which can be a bit wasteful (if this happens when it's completely burnt out, I usually melt down the remaining wax myself and create another candle with other waxs).I would recommend this candle for people who like sweet, fruity scents.

The Yankee Candle Sweet Nothings Jar, Purple, 5.8 x 5.8 x 8.6 cm is a excellent burning candle. All Yankee candles that I have used in the past never fail to impress in their quality and perfect burn to the bottom of the jar. This candle is excellent in both quality and its craftsmanship. Its a nice odor and a very pleasant looking overall. I noted the burn time between 20-30 hours. I do think if you got 30 hours out of this that would be high. Considering the overall cost and for what you get it is very expensive. There are other alternatives but the quality will not be as good as this Yankee candle.

This was a pleasant surprise.. I find some candles too strong a smell for my liking, particularly sweet scents such as this one. This one however was gentle enough that it gives a hint of fragrance rather than a blast. It’s sweet without appearing to be pure vanilla, which I am not fond of.The candle burns well, and longer than I expected.. I found there to be little waste as can happen in other makes, when only the wax around the wick melts leaving the wax around the outside unused. Here it all melted burning evenly without smoke.If you like sweet but subtle, this is for you...

Yankee Candles are just amazing! The best there is! This small one is gorgeous. It is lilac and very gorgeous for the spring. It is a sweet floral scent that is light and delicate. The candle burns for ages and projects its beautiful fragrance throughout the house, even though the candle is small. The wax melts and it smells absolutely gorgeous.There is nothing can compare with Yankee Candles and this one is no exception. They might seem quite pricey but they are so well worth the money. They last for ages and their scent never fades. A beautiful gift, but I'd keep it for myself.

Every Christmas my husband lets me buy a Yankee Candle and although we normally buy these from a local shop, there was an offer on this one and I liked the sound of it so we decided to give it a try. I was addicted pretty quickly! It lasted a good couple of months, despite being burned most days for a couple of hours at least at a time. The whole downstairs would smell beautifully of the Christmassy, sweet, cinnamon-y deliciousness that just makes you feel all cosy and snuggly in the winter. The perfect way to create a cosy feeling at Christmas!

This a lovely scented candle from Yankee, poured into a neat little jam-making type jar. It looks good as it is, an produces a gentle scent too. when lit, it looks very nice indeed, the effect amplified by the glass jar. The only thing we have against it is price. The six-pack presentation box from Yankee is only slightly more expensive, and comes in a presentation box, making it much better value especially as a gift.So, a very pleasant little candle, losing a star only because elsewhere in the same range is a much better value item.
