Gosh this is a gorgeous candle. I really like the way that Yankee Candle have taken on board some of the criticism and come back with the traditional range for those who can't quit the classic product but then offered this range for the critics.The glass designs of this are much more modern than the classic glass candles and resemble some on trend homeware meaning it can mix and match with existing items in the home.Furthermore the new lid is an excellent idea, acting as both a lid for storage and prolonging the scent but also acting as a stand for the candle reducing the risk of heat damage to surfaces. Whilst looking pretty to boot.The biggest thumbs up for me is the soy wax,

For little change from a 20, I'm always a little bit scared to spend out on what is essentially an air freshener. However, with what seems like a house full of Yankee candles, it's clear that they win every time.This one came packaged in a kettle sized box. I'd ordered a new kettle at the same time and thought it was that (hence the comparison). Inside is another box, and inside that packed very securely, is this candle. It looks tiny in comparison to the size of the box.There are several versions available, the one I have is Evening Star. The scent is strong; even before lighting, and it smells good. There are three wicks, which are there to keep the candle level the same as it burns.

Yankee Candles provide good value in their mid market position, with attractive lidded jars and pleasant fragrances, although I would urge doing some in-store sniffing before purchase where possible to check the smell is to your taste. This one smelled gorgeous on arrival and burns beautifully, filling the room with a lovely scent that you can still smell the next morning when you open the door.For best burning experience, keep the wick trimmed to no more than 3mm and use a candle snuffer to extinguish as that helps prevent the wax going everywhere.This is an attractively scented candle, perfect for dinner table, lounge, bedroom and as a secret Santa/stocking.

The Yankee Candles come in so many different aromas it's hard to choose one, this Coastal Cypress candle comes in a lovely glass square jar with a tapered lid that lifts off to show a cork base. This is then used to place on a table to avoid marks and heat while the shape of the lid fits inside the bottom of the glass to make a stand. It works really well and is a great design.The smell of the Coastal Cypress candle is fresh and has a hint of a sea breeze but is mostly the smell of flowers you'd find on a Cyprus coast walk. It's uplifting and refreshing and would go well in a bathroom or a hallway.The candle burns well with a small flame and not much smoke so far,

This is a beautiful candle to look at. The wax is a grey/mauve colour and it comes in an attractive square glass jar with a gold-coloured lid which can be used as a base when the candle is burning.The Evening Star fragrance (a blend of baby rose and jasmine) is quite sweet but not overpowering. The flame from just one wick is quite small but burned for three hours (before I extinguished it) without flickering or burning out. I've seen other candles advertised as having X hours' burning time. There's no mention of how long you will get out of this candle in the blurb on Amazon or in the packaging, but as it's quite pricy and Yankee have a good reputation I would hope it's a decent amount.

I have to say I really love this candle. The shape is a really nice alternative to the usual Yankee jars.The flavour/scent fills my lounge with a warming floral aroma that is gentle & certainly not overpowering or intrusive.I lit it for the first time on a wet & gloomy morning - the candle remained lit from 8am until 8pm & when I checked the next day I had only burned approximately 1 inch of wax - brilliant.The candle is supplied with a matt silver lid which can also be used as a base.I will no doubt be looking out to purchase another of these candles in the future.

OK Hands up! Who doesn't love Yankee candles?.....Just as I thought, only one or two!This particular candle is a blue/grey, three wick candle in a glass container and is scented with " baby rose and jasmine "...sounds nice and smells even nicer! And it comes in a really nice gift box!The Burn Time is not given on the paperwork at all so I really cannot comment on that.Pricewise, yes I do think that Yankee Candles are a little on the pricey side but to my mind they are worth every penny!

I have to say that I have not been a great fan of Yankee Candles. Im find almost all scents candy-rich. This is different. It's a very pleasant almost lavender lime smell. I also really like the square packing and metal lid. As usual the candles and robustly packs do say the least!What I don't lie it the idea that the candle should stand on said lid. This is a good idea but seems too unstable due to be secure.Overall though a good three-wick candle;. Recommended.

This is an attractive jar, with a very modern style to it. The scent of the wax is very nice when unlit, and when burning it is even better - a subtle fragrance which combines gentle floral notes with tart cypress. It is not as strong as the melts or votives, but definitely noticeable, and lingers for quite a while. The design is excellent, with the metal lid forming a stand for the jar, and the seal acting as feet to prevent marking on surfaces. Very nice indeed.

This is a small Yankee Candle, with a Coastal Cypress fragrance. It comes in a thick glass case, with a nice, well fitted lid. The candle has a lovely fragrance, even before you light the candle.The lid acts as a pedestal, which holds the candle safely. Once lit, the scent is really beautiful. Perfect for the bathroom, to create a relaxing fragrance and, yes, it is expensive, but the quality is excellent and it has a lovely perfume.

Smells amazing! Came in one piece, only downside, the person who did the packaging put the label on wrong, so the candle was upside down, luckily it didn't breakEdit: I've had this candle for 6 months now and it still smells amazing, it's still going with a quarter of the candle left. I burn it for a good 6 hours a week non stop minimum, Yankee Candle is my favourite type of candle and currently looking into a new one.

This candle is tiny. It came excessively packaged in three cardboard boxes, each bigger than the last. The candle itself smells lovely. It comes in a thick glass jar with metal lid that doubles up as an additional base or stand for the candle.It is a nice candle but it comes with a disproportionate environmental impact - from the packaging to the candle container - for such a small and short-lived candle.

I love these candles. Great long lasting fragrances of Yankee candles, but a more modern look. The labels peel off effortlessly, leaving no sticky residue, and they’re so easy to clean out once the candle has finished. They make a great vase/container afterwards. I only get them when on offer, the price is a bit too high, but the ones on offer are worth it

Firstly, this candle has a really great smell. It also burns for a very long time, despite being very small - we had it burning for over a week, about 4-5 hours per night, before it burned down completely. Well... when I say completely, there was a bit of wax left in the corners of the square jar even when the wick was completely burnt down.

Small grey candle in glass pot, the lid serves as a base to protect the table etc from heat damage.Came inside three boxes, each smaller.Makes a nice present, defiantly a modern perfume, neither feminine or a whiff mens aftershave .However it is pleasant in modern living room, tested by daughter who rather likes it as a background aroma.
