Since my sense of smell is woeful this is based on my wife's findings.Although the Yankee brand is expensive, this is a case of 'You Pay for What You Get'. The candle is long lasting, particularly this size, which depending on its time of burning can last you for two months, maybe three if only used occasionally.The scent is noticeable without being overwhelming (even I noticed this one) and in this case permeated the down stairs of our house. Names are of course subjective, but this one I was told did have a nice tang to it, which is sort of close to its name.If you like scented candles and can afford the price this one is recommended.Also ideal as a gift for someone who likes these items.

Sometimes these candles smell exactly as the name suggests, but this is one of those that smells differently to me. I do still like the scent (a lot) but there more notes of caramel and chocolate than seaside woods for me. It is a sweet scent, but not sickly or cloying – just really lovely. These large jars last for ages, but to ensure they burn fully without leaving wasted wax at the sides I recommend using them for at least a few hours at a time and also to burn them in a warm part of the room. If the glass jar is too cool then the wax that is up against it doesn’t melt and burn. Yankee is still my favourite brand of candles, and this is a lovely fragrance.

These candles are really for special occasions or a gift that would impress anyone who received it. I use mine predominantly in the bedroom when I feel like indulging myself. The scent is refreshing and very pleasant, I don’t know whether it reminds me of 'Seaside Woods', which is the title on my candle, but, there is no denying that it smells lovely and because of the size of the candle will last a very long time.This Yankee Candle comes in a nice glass jar with a lid, so that once the candle is finished the jar could be utilised for any number of things.theseA touch of very long lasting luxury that thrill my senses and I really appreciate.

I'm not sure what Seaside Woods should smell like but if I had to guess it probably wouldn't be like this candle. It's a lovely scent but not salty and sea-breezy like I was expecting. It's quite sweet and sugary and while it's nice, it's just not strong enough. I'm used to my Yankee candles filling my house with their fragrance but this one just didn't cast very much. Barely there when unlit and not a huge difference when lit to be honest, just the immediate area and not much beyond. It's lovely and delicate but I prefer my candles with a bit more punch so this is one for quiet moments.

I love scented candles big, small whatever shape or size and Yankee is one of my favourite brands. Expensive but for the aroma and long lasting time it stays working well lit and no waste right down to the last bit of wax I’ve found.This one with its lid makes for a nice aroma that’s not too much, not sickly sweet or one that is too heavy but just perfect for daytime burning. Make good gifts for people that like scented candles in their home. This Seaside Woods is just the ideal aroma for after Christmas when the heavier headier scents have been done and you want a more subtle one.

I seen someone share on Facebook about this candle being reduced to £17.99 and i had to buy it. This is my mum's favourite Yankee Candle as she is angel mad. This is usually so hard to find and a lot more expensive. I noticed some people have had bad experiences so i thought i would leave a review about mine.... and i couldn't be more happier with it. The candle is official Yankee and it come well packaged inside a Yankee Candle box. The candle itself smells as it should . This is identical to the candle i purchased months ago from QVC but a lot cheaper. I would happily buy again

This is a review for the Yankee Candle Scented Candle, Seaside Woods, Jarge Jar.Firstly, what strikes you is the big jar: it's really quite nice, and I like the whole design of it.I'm not quite sure what seaside woods smell like, but it did have a terrific and evocative smell that was that kind of fresh dewy smell that you get from moss where the mist is heavy hanging. Well, that's what I thought, and it is a really nice smell, surprisingly fresh.Burning was even and neat, and the lid means that you can keep it fresh until you next use it.It would make a great gift, too.

As a guy, I really don't buy candles all that often, but I purchased this for my S/O as it was her favourite sent, and I could not find it anywhere else. She uses this candle fairly often and it is still going strong (Purchased Xmas 2017), I am amazed at both how nice the candle smells and how long it has lasted. I would definitely recommend this candle for anyone looking

I think because this is meant to be a 'clean scent' it's not very strong so you have to burn it for a while before you start noticing it. But if you don't like overwhelming scents this could be great for you. I like it and am sure I will get full use out of it.The jar itself is very sturdy and the lid has a nice rubber seal . Quality-wise, the physical product is great.

Never experienced the scent of an Angel's wing, but I'd imagine it's pretty much spot on. I purchased the candle to sit next to a memorial and was not disappointed. Smells beautiful! I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews, however candle arrived next day, in perfect condition with the usual yankee candle strength. No problems at all. I'll definitely buy again.

I don't usually buy Yankee Candles as I find you can get candles that smell equally as lovely for a fraction of the price. However, I bought this as a tester and I am really pleased. The candle is very small, but the smell is delicious and not too overpowering or sickly which is important. Whilst I can't justify paying for a large one, I will enjoy this whilst it lasts!

Mmm; lovely relaxing candle,it smells like I'm by the sea! This gorgeous scented candle in a jar arrived really well packed,in a small cardboard box with cardboard packing,inside a medium cardboard box with paper packing.I've had Yankee Candles before,so I know this will burn evenly,and last a good long time.Absolute bliss on a cold winter's evening.

What fantastic value for money for a Yankee candle!! I bought this for my eldest daughter and she loved the cute teddy bear on the front and the smell was beautiful! She found it very comforting and loved having a Yankee candle of her own. The candle lasted a long time, considering she had it on every night! A great gift for a young girl/ adult!

The smell is not very strong and is sweet. It's my first time to buy this kind of candle. I'd describe it maybe as "classic or common".It's hard to say whether I like it or not. But in terms of the quality, I think it is five stars.I find many people bought it as a gift to their friends? I think it wont go wrong if your friend is a girl.

It's always hard picking something fragranced online; its a case of picking it based on reviews and hoping for the best. Can honestly say this is one of my favourite scents if I could bottle this and wear it I would. Fantastic clean scent, reminiscent of a soft aftershave smell and clean laundry. Will be buying again and again I expect!
