Thank God for Amazon!! Was hunting for a week to find this particular smell as everywhere else had sold out as it is a Christmas scent but I brought two of these candles for my Nan's birthday, I'm not sure on the smell as haven't opened them nor have I given them to her (not her birthday yet). Since losing my grandfather 14 years ago, she has always called him her "Angel's Wings" so I thought that she could have the candles as a memorial for her Late Hubby, also hoping she likes the smell. I have always found Yankee Candles lovely and last for a long time (depending on how many hours you burn it for throughout the day). They are always well worth the money. I love Yankee candle products and much prefer Yankee candles over any other candles on the market.This was one of those candles that I had an idea of what it may smell like - but when it arrived, on first sniff, was nothing like I imagined! HahaI was expecting a fresh smell - this is more of an aftershave scent - I'm not disappointed as it is a pleasant smell but I can image that with long burning it will be one of those scents that become "overbearing" so I feel like this is a jar that should be burnt for small lengths of time, rather than a few hours at a time.Arrived on time and as always was packaged well

When I buy fragranced candles, I only buy Yankee because of their different and refreshing scents. Admittedly, I only buy them for those “special” events at home, or just when I feel like I want to relax in a calm and sensual environment. Switching between the various moods that these candles create, they are always a joy to experience.They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are long lasting as they have a long burn rate, which I guess is to the quality of ingredients. Very well worth the money in my opinion. I don’t hesitate to recommended Yankee as a premium product.

I was initially a bit dubious about this purchase purely due to the price! I have always bought Yankee Candles but paid at least £10 more in the shops for them so thought it would be too good to be true given the price.Candle arrived within a few days and very well packaged. Absolutely beautiful scent for the house as it is strong but not too overbearing. A very fresh scent which makes the house feel lovely once you have had a spring clean.This along with clean cotton are by far my favourite scents for the house.

This iconic jar looks as if it were filled with grains of sand. The wax is caramel gold and very attractive. The fragrance is hard to pin down because driftwood mainly smells of salt. It has an invigorating, citrus fresh edge, not any way floral, with notes of vanilla, exotic spices, and general comforting warmth. Ideal for the bathroom. Yankee candles never fail to deliver on quality, and always burn evenly if you nick the wick off, the cheaper versions never match. At the end of the day, the jar is always useful.

I've bought this for our house as we're all Yankee candle fans and they're all over the rooms.This is the large Fluffy clean cotton jar which is a combination of pure sexy smells!! and the fragrance is really nice and refreshing, not overpowering at all.The burn time on these large jars is 100-160 hours. The upper limit is doable but the main thing you can do to help it achieve 150 hours is keep the wick trimmed down to 3mm! The longer the wick, the bigger the flame and it will burn the wax off quicker.

I love this fragrance. It's subtle and elegant compared with some of the other smellier Yankees. I far prefer that - there is nothing worse than an overpowering pong in a room! It is a really lovely scent and we always have had lots of compliments when this is lit. Some people have obviously found it too subtle, but it does build up over time, if you leave it lit throughout the evening; however, it is definitely a gentle background scent, not a smelly shocker!

Bought as a present.Not familiar with this fragrance but liked name and the colour and wanted something that was different from the usual Christmas spice type of fragrance.Very pleased with my choice and think my friend is going to love it. Hard to describe a fragrance but it's not too heavy or spicy;- more of a gentle and clean aroma.This item arrived very well packaged in remarkably short time (free p&p). Very impressed and would use this seller again.

I purchased this item for my daughter who always complains that I have Yankee candles in my home but never upstairs. I saw the front of the jar and could not resist a smell. It was gorgeous. The smell is like a warm hug. But the shop prices were too expensive, so as soon as I came home, checked the prices on Amazon and saved at least £8.00 and got free delivery as well. Bargain! Great Christmas present for teenage girls.

I had high hopes for this candle from Yankees new range. It looks fantastic and burns really nicely as you’d expect. The scent however is just a little too weak. When I smelt it before lighting the candle I could not smell anything! When burning it is more noticeable but doesn’t fill the room like other Yankee candles. The scent is nice, like a musky aftershave, but just not strong enough

Never experienced the scent of an Angel's wing, but I'd imagine it's pretty much spot on. I purchased the candle to sit next to a memorial and was not disappointed. Smells beautiful! I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews, however candle arrived next day, in perfect condition with the usual yankee candle strength. No problems at all. I'll definitely buy again.

We got these to use with our Angel Wings candle holders and they are perfect. The smell has the ability to remind us of different fragrances our mothers & sisters we lost subtle and long lasting fragrance. We would highly recommended buying them with the stunning angel wings candles holders, just stunning. Will be stocking up and making some recommendations. Thank you

Mmm; lovely relaxing candle,it smells like I'm by the sea! This gorgeous scented candle in a jar arrived really well packed,in a small cardboard box with cardboard packing,inside a medium cardboard box with paper packing.I've had Yankee Candles before,so I know this will burn evenly,and last a good long time.Absolute bliss on a cold winter's evening.

Smells lovely and was good value as had 25% off retail price. Delivery was efficient too. Would have given the product 5 stars but for the fact it looks like a white candle and I wanted it for the bedroom which is very white but when it arrived it was actually cream in colour, which is only a minor niggle really, so it didn't match quite so well.

What fantastic value for money for a Yankee candle!! I bought this for my eldest daughter and she loved the cute teddy bear on the front and the smell was beautiful! She found it very comforting and loved having a Yankee candle of her own. The candle lasted a long time, considering she had it on every night! A great gift for a young girl/ adult!
