Got this purely to reliably count daily steps, rather than some of the other data that this device can also provide. One of the reasons why I chose this particular make/model was because it doesn't need to be clipped/mounted e.g. on a belt (even though a belt mount and lanyard chord are provided). The need to do this on my previous pedometer had been (for me) a drawback. I use the EX510 just popped in my trouser front pocket, and it works/counts fine. Step count accuracy when normal walking (whether doing 10 miles or just pushing a lawn mower) appears to be very good. The only area it seems to under count a little is where steps/foot movements are poorly defined e.g. hoovering or cooking.

Once set up this pedometer is easy to use and accurately records steps, calories burned etc. The only downside, as far as I am concerned, is there is no belt loop or clip so if you don't have pockets you have to put it round your neck on something. Other than that it's a great way of recording how much exercise you are getting on a daily basis and the memory means you can see how much exercise is being taken on a weekly or even monthly basis. Great item.

A great little gadget, extremely easy to set up and clear accurate display. You just enter a few details such as weight and stride and everything is calculated for you. It has a wrist band and clip, so I can clip it inside my top and it doesn't get in the way or look so obvious. I bought this to encourage me to move about more and it is definitely helping. Mind you, I had no idea I walked so far just doing housework!

Very impressed with the accuracy of this pedometer. Having tried and returned the Fitbit Charge ( grossly inaccurate, I found!!) I ordered one of these Yamax jobbies.Having used it daily, I must say, I m very happy with it. Easy to set up, accurate and easy to read. If you are after a relatively basic, ACCURATE pedometer, I would say look no further.Very good

Very accurate (if you're just walking). Don't expect an accurate reading for how much you walk in a day at work etc. For example, the pedometer adds on steps when you are driving your car. What this does need is a case or cover to stop the screen becoming marked/scratched. I am happy with this purchase as it does what I need.

Put it in your pocket and attach the clip to the hem of the pocket.We tested this on a walk and we walked for a mile counting our steps then checking it against the reading. In a mile very close so good to go. Funny to see two grown men engrossed in counting and not speaking for a mile though.

Superb bit of kit. Small, versatile, reliable and incredibly accurate. Throw it in a pocket or a rucksack and it'll just get on with the job of counting steps and miles or kilometers. Bit pricey, but what price quality. Own 4 pedometers - and this is the ONLY one that does what it supposed to.

Brilliant. Robust and yet not obtrusive so doesn’t get in the way. Reviews tell me it is very accurate which I have found it to be. It also has a great memory facility so you can check back your number of steps later.

This is our second pedometer, the first being lost on a walk, most likely accidentally pulled out with a handkerchief. It generally agrees with the step count from a mobile phone app count.

Only had this a couple of days, but seems to do what it says on the tin. Easy enough to set up and appears to be accurate; sufficiently so for me anyway.

Does exactly what it says. Excellent Pedometer. Pleased I bought this rather than some of the cheaper ones on offer.

Very useful gadget and fits well into my jeans pocket. Helps greatly when setting goals e.g. 10,000 steps each day.
