Bought this as a joint present for my girls (14,12 and 7) and can't get them off it. The built in tutor, whereby the keys light up for you to follow, is great and really sets this keyboard aside. We've been using it with an iPad as there are some fantastic guides and apps out there too, simply rest your tablet on the music rest. The negatives are significant; it not coming with a power adapter (REALLY!!!) and there is no iPad lead or headphone jack, key to additionally functionality (Poor!!!) .

Very good. The piano tone is beautiful but I am not too impressed with the other voices. It is very light so easy to move around. It is excellent to learn from. The songbook is great with lots of classical standards. You can play a tune on its own and the keys light up. You can slow it right down to one note every three seconds and play sections that you want to practise repeatedly without having to play theough the whole piece. I can now play "Fur Elise" with one finger even if very slowly.

Good build quality and sound. I bought this to learn to play the piano. I can’t say the lights to music option is that easy unless you are a reasonably competent piano player. I think it should be pointed out that it is not a synthesiser in the sense that you can have back ground techno music etc playing ... you basically select one instrument only at a time. I can honestly say that for the price it makes a good choice if you actually want to learn piano without buying an actual piano.

This is a good quality keyboard, well made, with plenty of features. Ideal for a beginner, although the in built in lessons on all these keyboards are a waste of time. As is the keyboard lighting up, which is a gimmick and not very useful for learning. Buy the keyboard and then invest in one of the online training apps to use on a tablet or mobile. Still it is a really good beginner's keyboard, although intermediates and above would bebetter investing in a keyboard with weighted keys.

I was sceptical at first with this EZ 200 because I wanted a weighted keyboard that's plain without too many extra configuration buttons but I settled for this and I've never been more glad. I'm a beginner and it suits me perfectly. A quick read of the manual and I'm playing songs at my pace (it has a tempo of 11 - 280 with 100 being the average pace. so you can make it even slow enough for an infant. The keys on this even lights up so you know what to press

Bought as a birthday present for the wife. She was a grade 5 piano player as a child and has been recently playing the Piano at her grandmothers house. She really enjoys it so bought this for her at home. She really loves the training mode with the lightup keys and finds the assortment of features very easy to use. It is lightweight so she is able to carry it anywhere. We are now looking at getting a stand to give it its pride of place in the garden room.

Bought primarily for the key lighting function for my novice daughter as you can play songs instantly and then progress. There are a few keyboards with key lighting but chose this as was very impressed with the sound quality. Much better than the Casio LK series in my opinion if a little more expensive.Well worth the money. I'm sure we'll have many hours of enjoyment. Came with power adaptor which was a bonus as some retailers sell without the adaptor.

I bought this keyboard for my wife who wants to learn to play the piano, I chose this model because of the keys that light up and show you the correct keys to play with the backing tunes. However, there are a lot more teaching facilities built in, eg correct Left & Right hand technique, the option for you to play left/right or both hands, etc. This is an excellent bit of kit, good sound quality, well made, the standard you would expect from Yamaha

Everything I expected and more. Great quality. Amazing learning tool when coupled with Synthesis software. You can download any MIDI file from the internet and the instrument will light up the keys and wait for you to play along on any track of your choosing and show a score and key pattern at the same time. Also has longevity as a classic instrument with great professional sounding voices and accompaniments. Very easy to use. Highly recommended

This keyboards has a good piano sound which is what I was wanting. There are flashing lights on the keys for beginners and a tutorial programme. The lights can be switched off fortunately. It can be used with an iPad which is great. There are so many sounds and combinations of sound that I have not managed to go through them all yet. This is a great keyboard for beginners and experienced keyboad players, and a great keyboard to learn upon.

I love this keyboard as it is great for beginners. It's very easy to use all the functions and connect it to the iPad. I have always wanted one with light up keys but they are always very expensive. This one is well worth the price and I can see why it sells out so quickly. I am so glad I reserved it online when I saw it was in stock. Now I can learn to play without the extra expense of a tutor. I am very happy with it.

I bought this keyboard for my 6 year old daughter who is starting piano lessons at school. It's just lovely! It is touch sensitive and works with headphones, so I can use it after she goes to sleep. The features are great, some of which she's managed to figure out without the help of the manual, and therefore she is highly motivated to practise for her lessons and to simply play with. Awesome purchase all round.

I purchased this Yamaha Keyboard after researching in depth the best instructive instrument for a beginner, at a reasonable price. I have only had the keyboard for a short while and I am already able to play a number of tunes due to the intuitive teaching method used on this keyboard. Being able to set the tempo so you can learn to play at your own pace, plus having the red light up keys are a fantastic bonus.

Bought keyboard for daughter as an upgrade to a very old and slightly smaller model.Excellent and well balanced variety of songs pre loaded ready to learn. Light up key system makes the keyboard more accessible to a complete novice like myself to be able to actually learn to play something . Sound quality is fantastic as I would expect from a Yamaha product.I would definitely recommend this to anyone .

My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves this! It's really helped her have an interest in something during lockdown. She's already making great progress with learning a few songs on her own after 2 weeks. The light up keys make a real difference just getting familiar with finger position.Absolutely recommended to anyone who has a child that's starting out!
