Design wise, the 'Gourmet' fork is nowhere near as sleek as the 'Classic', 'Ikon' or 'Classic Ikon' ranges, but given that the 'Classic Ikon' fork is more than three times the price of this one, I doubted it'd be worth it. I do own a couple of 'Classic Ikon' knives, and they are utterly fantastic. But I can justify the price tags on those items through the balance of the knife, the quality of the blade and the feedback you get while using it. For a fork, I just wanted something to:1 - hold food down for slicing/carving2 - not break3 - look better than a skewerThe 'Gourmet' fork excels at all three. The tines are sufficiently long to cope with everything from a delicious steak to a roast chicken or leg of lamb,

Can't go wrong with this company's products - they are first rate - cost more but worthit for a lifetime of service. Highly recommend. Forks are sharp and easily slide into anytexture. Sturdy and ready for action !
