Used this to empty a small pond. It worked a lot better than I thought it would. I shouldn't have expected anything else given the brand name, but you never know with modern tools. This seems like it will last years. You can buy cheaper, obviously, but I don't see the point because the difference in cost isn't worth the potential for hassle. Buy a tool that works for a little more money and you've got it for years. And you don't dread using it.

The pump is made from metal and is self priming. I use a battery powered drill and this pump is far superior to any plastic pump I have used. The pump is very powerful with a high flow rate. This pump is built to last and will save money on the long run. A great buy.
