We bought this for our 1 year old who is now 2.5yrs old and still goes on it regularly. He could use it as a rocker from when we got it but it is a bit higher than most other ride on toys (in the ride position, as opposed to the rocking position which is lower) so it took him a while before he could ride-on it so I wouldn't recommend it for a short 1yr old, if you want it as a ride on immediately. On the other hand it has meant that it's lasted well and he still enjoys it as he's grown.It's very stylish and constructed well. It's stood up well to knocks and bangs and rough play, I think it would easily be a toy that is played on by many children and passed onto another family to enjoy.

I have a policy not to leaving feedback unless a product surpasses by expectation, and this does exactly that. I bought this for my daughter sometime ago and she is absolutely in love with it. She sits on it when she is watching tv and even while eating. When we first bought this it was as a rocker which she loved, now she is walking she can push herself around the living room although she much prefers a human aid. It is also really robust my godson who is eight and a giant rides it from time to time...

Wonderful toy! We bought it for my daughter's 1st birthday and both the 4.5yr old and (skinny) 7yr old love whizzing around on it. You can spin on the spot with it and the speeds they can reach are quite something. It is also being used as a toy carriage or hut or... strongly recommend, still looks like new all these years later.

My granddaughter in New Zealand loved this both as rocking horse and sit and ride. Her younger brother now loves it. My daughter recommended it for her youngest niece, so we bought it jointly for her. She enjoys it and her big sister loves it too.
