I use it for chocolate making. You've got to be quick with filling the moulds as temperature is everything with chocolate, but using this helps speed it up.It is a cheap item so don't expect the ease of action of the expensive ones, and it's not large, so if you are doing any volume then expect to refill. Although you might expect to use it with one hand, I would advise using 2 to get good control.It does take a little practice to get the action right, and the volume, but it was worth persevering - practise first before attempting the final product or you might give up.. With chocolate it's worth keeping it warm some way before putting the choc in or you just might block up the hole before you've got very far...

Arrived two days after ordering and well before estimated delivery date. Could have been much better packaged as the item was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and placed in a plastic bag, labelled fragile but I was concerned that the item would be damaged.Thankfully arrived intact.Tried the product today to make toffee bonbons and I was worried that the high temperature of the toffee might melt the funnel as there is no temperature range given. Worked perfectly with no mess and easy to operate singlehandedly. Fantastic product that will make life easier for every confectioner. Great price too. Wish I had bought this a long time ago.

Absolutely fantastic. It is plastic so keeps chocolate tempered for ages and you can microwave it. If you dilly-dally for too long chocolate will go hard in it. It stays liquid long enough for us to "cap" over 200+ chocolate truffle spheres by dispensing a tiny blob of chocolate on the small opening of each sphere. It does that great. Much easier to control and faster than a paper cornet. Terrible for piping chocolate writing, great for blobing and pouring. We normally run out of chocolate before it goes hard. Wish it was a little bit bigger.

I bought this as I've been making my own chocolates recently and wanted to find an easier way of filling my chocolate moulds. This does the job really well as you control the flow of chocolate which cuts down on mess. The only downside with using it for chocolate is that you have to work fairly quickly as the chocolate will start to set which can clog up the spout. Overall a good buy.

What I love about this is that I can use it for so many other things. I use it for funnelling spices into jars, salt into sprinkler etc plus it is fab for chocolate.I put the empty funnel not a glass to fill it which can sometimes push the lever leaving it open - I have put an elastic band around the depress mechanism and problem solved.

This poorer actually does what it says. It pours chocolate with ease and accuracy, it's made my chocolate making extremely easy.
