Still gets 5 stars.But anyone who is looking to put a raspberry pi in this ... it's just not big enough. The RPi Model 2B is the same width as the outside of the hub (which is unfortunately not bigger on the inside), the same height as the doors (thus too tall for the usb ports) and can ALMOST fit in diagonally when they are removed.Once you unscrew the bottom, it is very easy to disassemble. The sides are not glued or screwed together, just fit together nicely. I removed all the innards (speaker, switches, etc) and the RPi fit in diagonally, far enough down that I could put the bottom (without the usb ports) back on.HOWEVER, this shouldn't be considered "fitting." The last GPIO pins touch the inside of the roof.

This is probably the most exciting purchase I've made on amazon, which really speaks to my status as a Who fan. It has four USB hookups, two on each side, which is convenient and the TARDIS sound is authentic and attention grabbing. Although, if you have it in an office as I do, it has a switch to turn the noise off which is convenient. The blue light at the top is another feature that is sure to please any Whovian and I am really, really pleased with this purchase. The plastic seems durable, and it hasn't caused me any problems since I've had it. I highly recommend.

the TARDIS arrived fast and safe, the quality seams to be good, the sound is excellent, the switch to the sound seams to be a little sensitive, but that is fine to me. it does in fact charge my phone, but it does it incredibly slow. it is a little light and i wish it has some rubber on the base so it does not slip easy, but other that that i have no complain, it works like a charm and turns one usb port into 4 so it is kind of bigger on the inside :)

Love it! the belkin 4 port hub i had was very unreliable. love the tardis sound and the light on the top. as far as charging things, it isn't designed for it. might be possible with a power adapter which is sold seperately. pretty sure usb ports and plugs are the same everywhere. i live in the US and it works fine. Don't have any apple products (and never will) except the original macintosh in my fridge so can't comment on compatibility.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I love the Tardis sounds, but found I had to turn them off after about a week due to being a little tired of hearing it every time I plugged and unplugged.I used this for a wire mouse and keyboard and for a wireless logitech headset. No problem with any of these things.Do note that if you want to charge items with this, you need to purchase a separate AC adapter.

Cute addition to my desk to show my Whovian pride and have some extra connections.I do have to keep the sound off b/c my co-workers get sick of hearing it, so it's nice that it has the option to turn the sound on and off.It's not the best quality and isn't as fast as other USB hubs when you are charging, but it does it's job and I like it.

My geek-o-meter was maxed when I got this. Sound effect was excellent. Lighting is great. Just wish it had come with the power adapter. If you plan on pluging anything besides a thumb drive into this you need to get a power adapter. But that is the same as anyother multi ported USB device like this.All the gang at work love it.

The only issue that arose with this purchase was being shocked by the small size of the device. This is just user error as I couldve looked more into it, but the tardis is about the size of a computer speaker. I was caught off guard by the size, but the tardis was a gift and the recipient could not have been happier!

My middle school students don't "get it" as none of them are Whovians, but I love my USB hub. It makes the best TARDIS sound when I plug in a jump drive. It lights up pleasantly and is a nice reminder that after 4PM, I have my own happy, nerdy life to which I can return! (The hub works great too.)

works great for me :) i dont use it to charge my phone i use it for my various usbs because im a photographer and everything is stored on a different device. love the sounds! i bug the crap out of my husband with it because im a doctor who obsessor lol

I've had mine for three years now, and it still works just fine. I wish the cord was a little longer, it just barely reaches my desk being plugged into my tower on the floor, but that's the only problem I have with it. It's cute, and functional.

Pretty awesome. Brilliant. Fantastic. Wizard. Who doesn't need a few extra USB ports?! They're low power ports. They won't run my portable hard drive because it draws too much but it works fine with card readers and flash drives.

My household are Doctor Who fans. I stumbled on this years ago, and my husband really wanted one. I bought this for him, and when he hooked it up the kids came running to the sounds of the Tardis landing.

i would of given 5 stars but the hub did not come with a power supply, looks and sounds great. my kids love it every time it comes on. quality is great.

Sounds is nice and loud and has an option to be turned off. Have 4 USB ports which is also cool. And lights up when you plug something in. Love it!
