Nice fragrance - very fresh and quite minty rather than sagey on me. Wouldn't describe it as a strong, spicy fragrance only for men like the mainstream chemical versions. It is a clean, light smell which would suit women equally well. I much prefer this to the rose fragrance and intend to try the lemon next. The fragrances in these deodorants do not last very long but I find they work reasonably well to inhibit perspiration odour although you might have to replenish in some circumstances. You need to spray quite carefully to ensure the whole area is covered properly - because it's in a glass bottle with an atomiser rather than the usual pressurised can we are used to, it needs more than a quick squish!

Many people will probably hate this and other "natural" deodorants because they aren't antiperspirants. However, that's the whole point. This isn't an antiperspirant. It won't stop you sweating. Therefore, as long as you don't stink, this is doing exactly what it says on the tin. Based on this, I have to give it 5 stars.My only complaint is that this is quite expensive and doesn't last very long. I think I got a few weeks or a month out of this bottle. Having said that, I bought it right at the start of a heatwave and then was sent to work in Spain where daily temperatures were circa 40 degrees C. Despite sweating profusely in these temperatures,

I've been experimenting with a lot of natural deodorants lately.The most effective ones are soda-based deodorants (Schmidt's, Primal Pits etc...) but they ended up giving me rashes, so I decided to give Weleda's a try. I love this company's products - their toothpastes are without rival in my book, but I wasn't expecting much from a simple spray. And indeed, initially, I was a bit underwhelmed. But it seems the more I use this deodorant, the more effective this gets. Maybe a question of body chemistry. Four spritzes per side not too far from the skin seems to work for me.The smell is nice and fresh, slightly medicinal or herby, with a lavender-y note - which is funny considering it doesn't contain any.I'm bumping this from 3 stars originally to 4,

As I'm conscious of the cancer risk increasing conventional rubbish that's out there which is sold using horribly deceptive marketing techniques by an industry that clearly knows it's products are gimmicks and are, hence, affecting people's health adversely, I have to admit quite happily that the Weleda Sage Deodorant is a God send.Affordibly priced, safe, long lasting and effective for blokes who like to smell nice. Three to four sprays on each armpit in the morning can last you a full day even after exercising. Moreover, the deodorant doesn't make you feel nauseous after spraying.I recommend this for all the blokes out there.

This is the only natural deodorant that I feel comfortable using because it has a very pleasant natural not overpowering smell.I find that a bottle lasts quite a long time and i tend to use about 2 sprays per area.I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin - like some other products with a stronger smell do.It does not leave a sticky residue or white marks which I also like.I buy it in bulk whenever possible to make sure I always have some in!

This is an odd one, changing from the normal aluminium laden deodorants to something that is more natural. The men in the household are struggling with this in that it is so different to the conventional, and they don't like to use it when they are going to the gym. So we have compromised, they use this when not going to the gym, and a body spray from a very commercial brand when they are. Trying to become an aluminium deodorant free house.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it! It works amazingly. He said he has been converted to this one from now on. Arrived quick and packaged well. Had it about 4 months, and there's still about 1 quarter left in the bottle. He uses about 2 applications a day. Very pleased. The only thing I can complain about is the price but it's worth it and does last a long time.

Have been using this for a long time after reading reviews about aluminium in most deodorants not being a good idea. The main thing is that it is effective, it works. I take the small size in my gym bag and use the big size at home. The sage smell is OK for men and wormen and in fact wears off very quickly anyway. Highly recommended

A more masculine take on natural deodorant - personally, smells the best. Does not interfere with sweating, no side effects or irritation - which like another reviewer I found with other brands. Very good indeed. Lasts for about a month and a half of twice daily applications.

I have used the Sage and Citrus deodorant for years. The both smell great and the glass spray container is much more efficient than roll ons. Each bottle will last a lot longer than most other products on the market, Does not stain my clothing either.

I wanted to go aluminium free, and this product while pricey is very good. Double check the size as this says trial size 100ml - in reality the trial size is 30ml. I have highligthed this with Amazon and they have not corrected it - buy elsewhere

This is a brilliant product. 3-4 sprays per armpit after a shower will stop odour occuring for a full day and beyond. Smells nice at first but the smell wears off in an hour or so for me, then it just continues doing its job.

Is the only brand of deodorants that I can use.Before I found them I lived without any deodorant for 2 years because everything would irritate my skin so bad.Smell is so so by sage itself reduce sweating.

Very pleasant and fresh perfume, delicate on skin, not irritating product, environmentally friendly. No harmful ingredients, no GM, no aluminium salts.Have been using for years and highly recommend it.

Lovely, fresh smelling deo, works for ladies, too, if you don't like sickly sweet and/or artifical flowery scents. The only downside is that it irritates the skin if you have just shaved your arm pits.
