I purchased two of the non extending version of these poles and I am very happy with the standard and function of both. I favour these over walking poles to hold a tarp / tent porch as they are slim and low wieght and will pack easy. The poles go together quickly and the elastic in them is a good thickness and they break down to a very manageable size but when the pole is at full length it will be higher than a standard 1 or 2 man tent which is great for me. If you have a larger tent or are extending a cover from the front of a van you will need the larger version of this which is the extending one. This German product came well packaged in a box and arrived in less than 72 hours.
