Excellent little 8x32 binoculars with a magnesium chassis weighing in the mid 500g range (actually the same chassis as the Viking Merlin ED, but these do not have ED glass and are only about 60 percent of the price. Optics are very good indeed with no observable fringing on my pair in any case (what ED glass is normally used to minimise) and the dielectric prism reflective surfaces make these incredibly bright - more so than many 8x42 models actually. Nice modern style low-profile eyecups (functionally still as deep as deep-looking ones on the majority) and large ocular lenses make these far less finicky about eye position than most similar models.
