This is another superb Vtech toy!Our children ranging across one, three and also five years old have all enjoyed playing with this. Our youngest has been particularly entertained by the melodies and songs featured.Vtech really know what they are doing with making solid, fun, colourful toys that sneak in something educational at the same time and this is no exception.All three of our children have enjoyed playing with the Giraffe. The one year old needed some help changing the gears around at first, the three year old was happy independently mix and matching the different possibilities and our five year old (although outside the age range suggested)

We have bought a lot of Vtech toys over the last few years and as to be expected from Vtech toys this Gearaffe is colourful, bright, fun and educational too.My daughter has loved playing with the Gearaffe and swapping the gears around on its body and neck and the Smart Gear Animals are such a good idea.The Gearaffe stands at almost 34cm tall and is approximately 23cm long by 9cm wide.The Gearaffe comes with 10 mix and match gears and 3 of these are the Smart Gear Animals which are a bird, frog and bee. The gears can be swapped and changed on the Gearaffe but there is just the one Smart Pole. When one of the Smart Gear Animals are placed on the Smart Pole it will give your child facts about the

Excellent! I decided to buy this as my child really likes spinning things with their finger; I thought something with cogs would give them lots of options of wheeels to spin! It has been a real success. I really love this toy! Along with the cogs for turning (my child is nine months) there are sounds and lights to entertain as well. The best part is when you push the giraffe along its neck and head move from side to side in the motion of a real giraffe! It says 18m+ on the box, and this may be accurate for the changing cogs and quiz aspect, but as mentioned, my child is nine months and is already getting good use out of it.

I bought it for my 2years old son, as we had the train section/set of this VTech Gear Up! product range. He loved the train and now he loves the giraffe as well. Few button but many function by them, the different animal sounds, the (kid-friendly) scientific facts, the piano-mode, the songs, etc. You can build with the cogs/gears, or with the train (if you got it as well as us), so this toy is hours of fun! Even my elder children (6 and 8) are playing with it, happily!

This is a beautifully designed toy for toddlers. It's got 3 settings, as your child develops; the 'easiest' is a musical one, then it progresses through to colours and shapes. There are interesting cogs which can be added and aid motor skills. My two year old was delighted when asked a question and pressing a button in response. He also enjoys 'driving ' the giraffe like a car. My only query is whether he will get much use out of the toy, as his interest may wane.

Great fun for little hands as with most Vtech toys. The little girl I gave this to really loves it especially the tunes.This is a bright toy that catches the eye and being very sturdy will be great for her brother as he grows older. As with most Vtec toys it wont get shabby in a hurryDefiantly worth four stars

not to bad the main train has all the fun noises and buttons, the two trailers move when pulled only if the cog wheels are in otherwise theyre just dead weight behind the train lol i do enjoye the fact that since we got other products that use the wheels it can be enerchanged like the table so thats a fun bonus

Great toy again from VTech. My daughter is 2 and is thoroughly enjoying playing with this. She is just at the stage of trying to 'do it myself' and this toy gives the opportunity to pull and turn and see what happens. Sturdy and bright colours. We will see how long it retains her interest.

Bought this as a gift for my friends daughter. Its a great toy, very chunky and solid, loud and bright. The cogs are perfect size and aren't a choking hazard. 1 tip for future models would be a string to pull it a long if you don't have the other connections. Otherwise fantastic toy.

This is one which is aimed a little more at younger children, but it's excellent stuff. It allows a little experimentation, though smaller children may struggle, in order to make tunes and so on. It's a really nice toy.Plus, I can confirm these really last well.Recommended.

I bought this toy for my little ones and they love it! My 2 year old loves the challenges of looking for the shapes that the giraffe asks and my 1 year old loves all the sounds, lights and the little parts that you can take off and put back on!

Great product, colourful and fun, works with the interchange cogs from Gearaffe. Only drawbacks - train sections don't stay together very well when moved along, and packaging is rediculous to try and remove from the train.

Great product for a two years old girl. I read reviews about the toy being perfect for the age development and decided to buy it. The girl now no only plays with the toy but she also gets to learn the colours, numbers etc.

Love this for my granddaughter. Easy to move the pieces herself and she spends a long time playing with the cogs, pulling them off and fixing them back on. A fab toy for a child and made very well.Attractive too

Very clever and loved by my daughter who likes giraffes. Good toy that teaches as well as playing. Large variety of options and tunes rather than the usual repetition that drives you mad
