Bought these for sports events and hunting. They are well built and serve well for my purpose. The focuser is stiff but serviceable. The eye relief takes getting used to for non eyeglass wearers as you have to hold them a mm or so away(navy fashion) to get a proper view even with the eye cups extended fully. I got used to this fairly quickly as I use binoculars in this fashion on a moving boat. These are not for you if you like pressing binoculars up against your face. I have the raptor 8.5x and they do not have this issue. They are a good buy if you can adapt to the eye relief. I am happy with my purchase.

Bought this as a gift for my husband to watch the hummingbirds, etc on a rural property we own. Every time we are there he comments on how much better these are than any he has ever owned!

Seemed to be everything they say they are. Do not like caps for front lenses.
