This is a really simple toy, which is a great deal of fun. About the size of a football, this is actually a hollow ball, with a small velcro opening, which reveals an on/off switch, a battery compartment and a valve so you can inflate the toy if you need to. The fact you can re-inflate this, plus change the batteries, obviously means it is more value for money. I've had similar toys in the past which have run out of battery and been useless, so that is a real plus. When the toy is switched on you can tap it and it will light up and continue to change colour, until it eventually stops. This little cat changes through shades of blue and green, plus pink and purple. With his cheerful expression, plus his little arms, legs and ears, for small hands to hold, this is great fun. It is very light and so is perfect for a game of catch, or even a gentle game of football. Adorable and good fun for playing with - although it does not work as well as a cuddly toy, as it is really just a ball wrapped in a plush covering. It is also worth mentioning that the actual cat does not look at bright in reality as it does in the picture - at least the version I received had a lighter green on arms, tummy, etc and it is a soft, almost pastel purple in colour. The product picture shows darker shades, so it is something to be aware of, although I think the colour of 'our' cat is extremely pretty.

This toy is a simple but ingenius idea. It is essentially an inflatable ball (roughly 20cm diameter) with an LED light inside, surrounded by a cute cuddly furry face. Each time the ball impacts something, the light changes colour. This makes for fun games of catch, with the light changing colour each time the ball is caught. As it is just an inflatable ball, I was happy to let my five and three year-old children throw it around the house, causing mayhem but no damage. Throwing cuddly toys never grows old it seems, so I can see this toy getting a lot of use. It is particularly fun in semi-darkness due to the light effect. While the model supplied is supposed to be a unicorn,it could be anything really - the horn does not protrude enough to be instantly recognisable as a unicorn. It is very cute-looking though and my daughter took to it straight away.

This toy is really funny, my daughter loves it as she is a keen collector of cuddly toys. She has great fun slapping (!) the toy, because each thump makes it change colour! It's actually an inflatable ball made of thick rubber containing a lighting element and covered with a furry skin. The bottom peels up to reveal the switch and battery compartment, and also the rubber mouthpiece to inflate/deflate the ball - so, it could be useful for travelling, for example, so the toy can be made much smaller when deflated. The colours (apparently seven different ones, according to the label) do change slowly if you don't touch the toy, but it's much more fun to hit the thing to make the colours change faster. My daughter loves it, and I think my nephew (who has severe autism and likes fluffy light-changing toys) will like it too.

This fluffy inflatable ball is fun for youngsters, it changes lights slowly by itself or quickly if you tap it. My kids have been playing throwing games with the curtains drawn, so you can see the light changing with every throw (they compete to see who can make the light change the quickest). There is an on/off switch behind the peel-up flap on the bottom, and there's also the rubber stopper to inflate or deflate the ball, so you can actually take it on holiday (the toy is really small when deflated). Although this is a simple toy, it is actually really fun to play with.By the way, this unicorn Oodlebrites is actually white with bright pink hands, feet and ears - the Amazon picture must have been taken in a weird light because the colours are not like that photo at all.

What a good idea, a light-up mouse! It was bigger than I expected and really light, so easy to throw around and won't damage things. Our baby grand-daughter loves it. Basically it's a plastic ball covered with a soft furry material and it lights up. The colour of the light changes every time she hits the ball, and if you throw it around it changes every time someone catches it. Best played with in a darkened room as the colours don't show up so well in the daylight. The furry cover peels back underneath the mouse to reveal the on-off switch and battery compartment. It does come with a battery which is good. A fun toy for all the family (and yes, the adults love it too).

These toys really are something a little bit different. They are not your typical squidgy and fluff toy. They are similar to a ball underneath with a softer cover. They are not heavy and are quite safe to be thrown from child to child. To get going you just pull the tab out of the battery compartment. The Nguyen the on / off button on. And knock, throw it around. It then changes colour with each knock or catch. My five year old daughter particularly likes the one. She is into unicorns. Apparently her friend own a real unicorn!!.....Would recommend.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this and it isn't as cuddly as I thought it would be. It is very much a ball covered in some slightly fluffy material. It isn't really something to cuddle but works as a light up game (tap to change colour of light so can throw to each other to do this) or you can use it as a nightlight. As I said, I was expecting something cuddly and this isn't but it is nice enough for what it is. Cuddly would have been better but it is quite a nice nightlight.

We bought this for our three year old because she was developing a fear of the dark. By the time she was bored of taking it to bed (approximately two weeks), she was mostly over her fear of the dark. You'll probably wake up with a "thump, thump" noise in the night as it lights up on impact, but its quite amusing, and better than getting up to a crying child.

Bought for 3 yr old to use to see when she wants to get out if bed in the night to use the toilet. Its ideal. One pat on the head and the light comes on, changes colour and then auto switches off after a short while. Easy to inflate too so we packed in suitcases and have taken on holiday- ideal choice

I bought two of these for my children. They change colour on their own or when knocked so make a game of catch lots of fun! I get also turn themselves off after a few minutes when not in use which preserves the batteries. Will be buying more for presents as they would make an unusual gift!

I love it and I'm sure my grandson will. It's a good size, being roughly the same size as a football, and is soft to the touch, slightly squidgy actually. The lights change colour on almost every touch and catch. I think it's a toy most little ones would really like.

My baby absolutely LOVES this, you hit it and it changes colour, she plays with it very often, as do our guests haha. Arrives pre blown up. Will be buying a different design for my nephew.
