I have had this lead now for 3 months i bought it in Spain, my dog weighs 6.5 kilos.The lead is rated for a dog upto 25 kilos, i would not put it on a dog over 10 kilos dont get me wrong i love the lead and most things about it but when you have an active dog (Podenco x)even at 6.5 k when she is pulling the body of the lead folds in, the locking mecanism, which requires you to slide your thumb across the top of the buttons to lock is to fiddly for arthritic fingers and the lead is to slow to retract.I love the 'opening ring' feature i have put the lead round a post and seen people looking at it trying to work out how i got it on there!

I've had one of these for two years and have no complaints. For me there's two major selling points. Firstly, the handle folds up when not in use making it compact so it can be tucked away into a pocket. Secondly, the handle splits apart and allows me to secure my dog to railing while nip into the shops to collect a paper.Don't believe the other 1 star reviews as these people as misusing the lead or not paying enough attention to what there mutt is doing!

I love this lead. I love that I can clip it to a belt loop and walk our dog hands free. We have had it break (the leash bit) a couple times because our dog chewed on it, but we easily fixed it.

Love this lead, I have full control over the dog and don't keep dropping it when she runs off at speed as I did with the smaller handles
