I received this today and lit it straight away to try it out. It was great, the scent was apparent almost immediately and I could smell the scent in the living room even though I'd lit the candle in the kitchen and had the door closed. It's as natural a strawberry scent as I think you could get.The other half had been in bed (he works nights so hadn't known the candle had been delivered let alone lit) and when he came downstairs he said to me 'have you been eating strawberries'? I reckon that's vindication enough!These are now my preferred choice of candle, a cleaner and more even burn, great 'throw' and of course cheaper than similar candles. I'll definitely be buying more of this brand.

I ordered this small two-wick jar candle a few weeks ago, and I just LOVE it!!! It's the perfect size and color to keep on my stove-top; it burns evenly when the wick is trimmed before using it; and it is THE only jar candle I've ever had that doesn't get black soot around the top of the jar!! I ordered the "Fresh Strawberry" candle, and loved it so much I've ordered two more. I will definitely be ordering more candles from this Seller in a different scent/color for the summer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from this Seller, nor should you!!

These large jar Yankee Candles are MUCH cheaper than in the shops, and free postage too. I`m delighted with my order. The fragrance lasts right down to the bottom of the jar. I burn every last drop.When it eventually reaches the bottom, I melt the remaining wax still in the jar in a saucepan of boiled water, then I let it cool and lever it out with a knife. I then break the wax up into chunks and use the chunks in those burners which you place a tea light under the bowl.Great value for money.

I adore Village Candle products. I have ordered many of their candles and have never been disappointed. This strawberry is delightful. The fragrance surrounds my house in a wonderful field of strawberries. The packaging is beyond excellent. The candle itself has an enclosed container that protects the glass, then it is put into a box that actually fits the candle perfectly so that the candle has zero opportunity to move around or be damaged. I can't say enough about this brand!!!!

The throw is amazing and the scent smells like strawberry laces. No one can get a strawberry scent perfect but this is close enough. It states in the description that you get a free car jar but I didn't get one. I also had this problem with the chocolate brownie one. Even though it didn't come with a car jar I still would highly recommend it to anyone who has just started out with scented candles or to just anyone who likes yankee candles and is looking for a replacement.

I was actually looking for a strawberry scented Yankee candle when I came across this. Large jar, so it's good value for the price & the smell of sweet strawberries as soon as you open the jar is unmistakeable. The candle has 2 wicked so it burns nice & evey & the scent spreads through the house & lasts for hours. Only issue I have is the lid does not go on tight so there is a danger of the candle slipping from your hands if not held properly.

Brilliant candle, love it, purchased mine via eBay and lit it today, it is so lovely as I love strawberries I'm more than delighted to have my whole house smell of them, burns very nicely with a good wax pool (no tunneling) at all as it has a double wick, so, so far I've now had blueberry muffin, lemon pound cake and now this one, all great, better burning and longer lasting than Yankee, will be sticking to these from now on I'm afraid.

Gorgeous ripe sweet strawberries in a candle!!! Its a double wicked candle and so the burn is very even and no waste of wax at all. Clean burn with no smoking and the throw is good and strong on this, filled my lounge and conservatory after being lit for only a half hour it was really good and the smell of strawberries made me crave them!! This is just a lovely fragrance for these spring/summer months.

This is my favourite candle of all times. Smells amazing. Whole big house is filled with strawberries. It reminds me of my childhood, cooked compote or when mum was making strawberry jam.The key to all candles is to keep them upside down for a while before using them to the oils can spread to top of a candle after weeks/months on a shop shelf where all oils settled at the bottom.

Amazing smell! Fills the house with a strong smell of fresh strawberries that are a pleasure to the nose. I've burnt this candle for a full evening and the way it burns is very good. Very impressive is how the flames stay nice and don't start to die out due to the liquid wax. I would highly recommended this to anyone who's after a long lasting home filling scent.

Beautiful smell and a super long burning time.My jar arrived promptly.The double wick let's wax pool evenly with less burning time to help the scent throw.I only bought this because yankee don't do a Strawberry scented candle I like but it was well worth the money and my living room smells beautiful

When I ordered this I thought it was a Yankee candle, I accidentally ordered this one, I am so pleased I did as it is exactly the same as a Yankee candle except cheaper the fragrance is so strong and I think it lasts, I'm so pleased with it, I will definitely be ordering another one in the future

If you like sweet smells then this is for you.(strawberry jam) It's more candy sweet rather than strawberry fresh so I've not given it 5stars. Nice wax pool and no tunnelling. No car freshner with it but I didn't really purchase with hopes of that.

Smells just like fresh strawberries! I'm addicted to this candle. It's got great "throw" so it scents my large living room. It's significantly cheaper than Yankee Candles and scents the room much better. I highly recommend this candle.

What a delightful smell of delicate strawberries, not to overpowering that it make you hungry but just right to please the senses. This picture doesn't do the candle justice as the jar is so much more taller. Would recommend.
