I wanted to move harvested rainwater to tubs etc about my allotment (no mains water available), so that there was a ready supply wherever it was needed, & to build up a store against dry periods. I had tried cordless drill attachment pumps but, partly due to the vertical lift involved, also inadequate power from a cordless drill, none of them could cause water to flow through the outlet of a short hose, let alone over 100'+This did the job satisfactorily. I use a 1/2" hose, although it is supplied with 1" connections, & it lifted water perhaps 15'+ from the lowest source to the highest delivery point without any problems. Even though I am using a narrow hose, the pump works satisfactorily on low revs,

Great little waterpump for use down my allotment I sank a well using 1/3/4 pipe at a depth of 24ft lifts up the water no problem at all
