It's good, but OMG it's really tiny and because of that I don't think it's worth almost 20 quid, C'mon this should cost around £10-£12 not more and the plastic version ~8 quids. Even tho I'm a huge fan of Vicky and I've got large collection of SAK's, I just cannot justify the cost. Shame on me as I should have done the research prior to buying....Five stars as the Victorinox finish is great as always. Anyone else notice how Victorinox prices are going up since 2011?Having said that it's still good EDC blade(UK legal) that you could probably keep in your wallet without even noticing it...Specs:Length(folded: 84mm)Thickness: 4mmMain blade length(cutting edge) : 51mm

I own one of these Victorinox pen-knives which must be twenty years old. It has and still will provide me with excellent service. It's always in my pocket and comes in useful so often. I was passing it around the room on Christmas morning when family members needed a little help opening presents. My new one will be on stand-by should my old one get lost. I never want to be without my Pocket Pal. ( I think they used to be marketed as such way back when)

I bought the Excelsior to have on my key ring for opening packages, letters etc. It's perfect for the job. Small, slim and very sharp. The Excelsior has one large blade and a single smaller one. No screwdrivers, tweezers or thing for getting stones from horses hooves. Just a simple and sharp set of blades. If you just need a handy pocket knife I don't think you will be disappointed. It looks very neat and elegant too.

I needed a small penknife to hang on my house keys, and have used Victorinox knives for 30+ years, so this was a no-brainer. Lovely size, light and two blades. Of course, why need a knife on my housekeys you might ask? I'm part of a beach cleaning volunteer group - Facebook - 'thenewbrighteners', and regularly need to cut away fishing line (ghost gear), string, and all sorts of other stuff, and this knife is perfect.

Quite thin and light but it's now really just for my collection. I now own 6 victorinox knives.I got my first army knife in Switzerland so bought another so I could keep the Swiss one good, it snowballed from there. Amazon is probably the best place to get victorinox knives as the are a lot cheaper. Stick it in your wish list and they price will vary day to day. I got this for £11.

I used the bigger blade most of the time, so I could save the smaller blade for when I needed a really sharp blade ( such as getting out a splinter etc ) You don't know you have it in your pocket it is so light. My wife now keeps it in her purse. Classy and Usefull. I'm glad I bought it. . .then I'm glad I bought a cadet too.

A quality steel, comes sharp, takes a good edge. However, the handle is thin and smooth, so not good for long periods of use (whittling) or if you have big hands as i do.Obviously this knife has no lock, and the keyring pull does get in the way when using the small blade.hence the four star.

This is a very well made small knife, nice & slim and is comfy to carry in your pocket. Quite smart & very sharp, had a cheap knife which fell apart so you get what you pay for I'm sure this one will last for years. Just be carefull not to loose the leather sheath as it will fall off easily.

This knife is small enough to take up no space in a pocket or add no weight to a keyring. It is not just a sharp blae it is thin. I found this a consideration at auctions when I wanted a reliable blade not prone to slip for opening watch cases. For heavy usage get a heavier knife.

I can't give it five stars without seeing it. I'm sure it's good, Victorinox stuff always has been. My dad carries a similar sized knife at all times for opening envelopes and boxes and such, but his was getting worn out so I bought him this. He seemed happy.

This was bought as a replacement for one I'd bought only a year before (and lost, or misplaced!). My husband has bigger V. knives but likes to keep this size in his pocket. Good, smaller knife. He loves it. Arrived in good time and well packaged.

I have been a swiss army knife fan since the age of 8. I have carried many models. I was looking for something with just a blade that would be slim enough to fix in a Jean's coin pocket but bigger than the blade on the classic sd.

like all victorinox pen knives, you can`t have better than that.the knife closed is pretty small and thin, and also very light, the blade is about 5cm long and very sharp, so be cautious!very happy with it.

A useful key ring knife, which is very sharp and a handy size for most daily tasks. I was surprised that it feels a little thin and tinny compared to the textured alox scales on other Victorinox knives.
