This tool has everything I need regularly in a package small enough to be carried around all the time, and I wouldn't be without it. For quick jobs or ones away from a toolkit I can't find anything to beat it.I've just bought my third since 2000 - the first was greatly abused and replaced when I'd lost too many accessories and bent a screwdriver blade. The second one has just been lost. Each has been used on average at least once a day and have given very reliable service and got me out of some emergencies.I originally bought one for the interchangeable screwdriver bits which are fantastic, though hard to get hold of if lost - I've found it's best to leave the widest tip outwards and put the largest allen key in the holder when not in use. This way round I didn't lose any tips from the second one. My only gripes about the screwdriver are that the shaft is off centre, so repeated turning is not as easy as it could be, and that the tips are hard/expensive to replace. The scissors, knives and pliers are well engineered. Although there are limits to what can be done with them due to size, they can stand a good deal of force and the knives can be sharpened with a steel or stone to a very sharp edge which lasts better than some of my kitchen knives. The reamer is very useful for making and widening holes, though I don't need this often, and the can opener is useful for camping and when a normal can opener has mangled the rim. The corkscrew speaks for itself, and the little driver in it is great for the hinges in glasses and messing with old school analogue electronics. The only tool which I would not miss is the parcel hook - a fixed cross head screwdriver like some of the other Victorinox tools might be better. If you are a repressed scout, or like to get inside electronicky or smallish mechanical stuff, and want a toolkit in your pocket, this is the tool for you. This time round I've also bought a very nerdy belt pouch at my wife's request, and it's kept the cybertool looking brand new, and stopped pocket fluff slowly stiffening the hinges.

My partner bought me one of these for Christmas. With all the usual packaging to undo on Christmas day, I found plenty of cause to use it.So many times have I been at someone's house when they start complaining that their computer isn't working and I offer to fix it there & then, only to end up ad-libbing with some kitchen utensil or other due to lack of appropriate tools... no more!So many times have I been caught out for that special indescribable tool; "I need something this shape to pull that from there... have you got any wire?"... no more!So many times have I been out on the motorbike when a wire came loose or something broke, only to remember that I'm doing the shopping and why would I be carrying tools to the Co-op?...no more!Safe to say this tool will become a permanent addition to my jeans pocket. Personally I find it fits in there with no discomfort at all, though I spose it depends on the size of your pockets! The quality is the usual excellence from Victorinox. My only slight niggle is the ball-point pen. Handy if you happen to need one & you're desparate but in most circumstances there's a pen somewhere nearby. My niggles being 1) Ok, so you've got a pen... what are you going to write on? This pen doesn't much like the back of my hand. It seems to need paper. 2) If you use it a lot it'll run out (standard refils don't fit this pen) but alternatively, if you only use it once in a blue moon it'll dry up (see above).Personally I would swap the pen for something else... a large sewing needle perhaps; or that elusive bit of flexible wire that's never around when you want it!Other than that an excellent tool, if a little on the pricey side. Still, it was a present so I'm not complaining!

This is my second SWAK Cybertool the last one I carried almost everyday for over ten years before I lost it, in that time I did replace a couple of the screwdriver bits which got lost and the mini screwdriver. The only thing you need to be aware of that no one will tell you is that its quite easy to loose the screwdriver bits out of the plastic holder if you don't put them in a certain way around. There's a little spring loaded ball bearing in each screwdriver bit and unless you face it left or right into the side of the holder when you replace a bit it won't be held in as firmly as possible and they can and will drop out which is why I had to replace the bits on my original one.Spares are available in the larger bricks and mortar suppliers. If you are doing a lot of work on a computer you don't want to be using this tool as the screwdriver blade isn't comfortable to be using all day but when you just need to remove a couple of screws it saves getting the full tool box out and it has screwdriver bits to fit every desktop and laptop computer I've ever worked on.The scissors are very good and the pliers are much stronger than you might expect. At one time of another I have used ever single tool on the knife, the can opener takes a bit of getting used to and the awl which some people think is useless is a great tool for getting stuck coins out of supermarket trolleys. My first Cybertool paid for itself many times over with that feature.

This thing has pretty much all you need for handling computers, although to be honest do you really need more than a few screw drivers? This is well built with all blades etc held securely in place, open and closed. It is comfortable in the hand, but a little bulky for the pocket. I like the addition of the ball point pen (tucked into the handle), ideal for notes, but expect a cramp if you intend to write out a 500 word report!I note the comment of the previous reviewer ref the loose bit holder. Mine seems to hold the bits well, so perhaps there has been a design modification. The main bit holder grips the bit well with ball bearings locking them in. There is sufficient bit exposure to grip it to pull it out for changing. The spare bits are in a rack, which when closed falls in behind a rounded protrusion which prevents the outermost bit from falling out should you not push it into the housing properly.Overall a good quality knife albeit a tad pricey

I bought one of these a couple of years ago, and have used it for many repair jobs, up to and including completely dismantling and re-assembling a laser printer. When I first bought it, I was concerned by the play of the bits in the socket / holder, though they are held in place by a small ball-bearing as another poster says. However, it has proved durable in use. I have only had one of the bits fall out of their holder once (which was probably me not pushing it in properly). The only wear the bits are showing is slight loss of their black coating. The socket drive doubles nicely as a box-spanner for motherboard studs. The only real criticism I have is the "universal hook" - no real idea what good this is,and I could think of several other things that would have been more useful (such as a fixed philips screwdriver bit).Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

This tool is, for me, the pinnacle of 20th century toolmaking. I've owned one for the last 8 years (well, more than one because i keep losing them) and its utility is unparalleled. The screw/hex/torx bits, mini pliers, 2 blades, glasses screwdriver, pen and cunningly hidden pin (hello blisters!) have all served me frequently and well. The one thing i've occasionally missed, and would like to see added, is a serrated saw blade; but lets face it, i spend far less time in the backcountry than i do fixing computers, toys and odd things round the house. I think the only tools i use more often are a knife and fork and a keyboard. In summary: Close to perfection!

More than enough tools to make this useful to anybody who fix electronics and computer equipment on a regular basis - indeed, all you need is this and some long thin screwdrivers for those hard to reach screws and that's it!If there is a niggle in this it's that the holder for the bits could grab them a little more tightly (a previous one lost a bit) and a big Phillips screwdriver as per some other models would be good for those beefier screws that you get on racks every so often.By and large, this has everything I need to fix stuff as well as do a whole range of other jobs, keeping the truism that this is the only tool you need by and large true.

I've had one of these for a couple of years and it is such a useful thing to have in the bottom of my laptop bag. Torx head screw? No problem. Rack mount kit need removing? No problem. Sharp knife or scissors? Great. Just need to open a tin of beans? Yup. My only criticism is the mini socket set doesn't hold the bits very well, nor does the bit holder keep them very safe when you're using another bit. All in all it saves me from carrying around a whole bunch of simple tools - just one neat package.

I'm a fan of Victorinox. I bought this knife for a friend. He says that it is a bit big to carry in a trouser pocket - its one tool thicker tha his usual pen knife. But we loved the screwdriver and the different screwdriver heads, we felt they fitted tightly. The pen - a bit like having a refill - is good to have with you just in case. We resorted to Youtube (Thanks yt) to find where the pin is stored - how cool is that.

Handiest pocket tool of all time.Had one nearly 15 years ago still going strong.Just bought a 2nd one to keep as a spare.Tools are strong enough to work on anything from my pc's and laptops through to working on my car no problem.Wire stripper and pliers are very strong and the blade is still sharp on the knife after many years of daily use cutting and slicing boxes, wood, plastics etc.

This is the ideal tool-kit to carry in one's pocket. It has virtually everything one needs for day-to-day occurrences. Trim nails, tighten loose screws, pick your teeth, write a note, open a wine or a beer bottle, carry a heavy parcel, stitch a sail, pick a winkle from its shell, pluck splinters or eye brows. The only thing that you cannot do is get a boy scout from out of a horse's hoof.

I love everything about this tool. The TORX bits makes it invaluable for getting into Macs.I had the same model 10 years ago but lost the bits. Turned out individual bits were almost as expensive as the full knife, so was lucky when somebody offered the tool at a low, used price.Turned out it was in plastic wrapping and completely unused! What a bargain for my mainstay tool....

Kind of heavy but surprises with its amazing functionality.Five thousand for a set of knife! It's like Merc of the tools you need to own it to understand why you must have it.Wish some Indian company came up with similar product.Must buy for guys to keep in the car or when going for a .

Victorinox standards never seem to disappoint! The blades are razor sharp and scissors work perfectly. The pliers work fine along with the multi-bit screwdriver. In conclusion, everything works perfectly and does their jobs. Pocket carry is just perfect for me but some may prefer a sheath

This device is fantastic in design and functionality. I build and repair PC systems. I used to carry a toolkit around with all my other equipment. With this, my toolkit is redundant. I have 3 of them as I think they are so useful. Just buy one if you are thinking about it.
