Waited three weeks before reviewing to see if they worked so can now report. Of our three cats one is a proper mouser and consequently gets a lot of worms. Wanted something better than constantly buying vet meds so chose these - we use VermX hen pellets to keep our hen’s guts worm-free and it works for them. Yes the tablets are extremely large - possibly made for panthers - but easy enough to snap in half. They get gobbled up in seconds - they have fish oil and fish derivatives in them so no wonder the cats like them. Anyway, we have certainly noticed that Wormy Cat doesn’t ask for food every second of the day anymore, and doesn’t swallow the entire packet before we’ve even emptied it into his bowl. He’s far more content, eats slower (he’s got very good manners for something that eats rodents) and is just much calmer. So all in all I’d say these tablets definitely work to kill or repel or whatever, intestinal worms. I’m not a vet though so if you’re worried about your own mouser please take him or her to the vet. Other than that I’d certainly recommend these. We gave Wormy Cat (5kilos) 2x3 tabs for three days, then 2 a day, now 1 a day. Old Lady Cat (2.9kilos) who doesn’t hunt things gets half a tablet a day (just to include her) as she’s so small. Hope that helps.

Well they're not cheap, but my fussy eater senior cat wolfs these treats down, and they have made her coat feel softer. Too early to tell if they help with parasites. I'm using them as a maintenance measure inbetween worming treatments, I don't believe they are sufficient enough to be used as a standalone anti-parasite measure.I give my cat 2 treats per day, as per the packet instructions, and you get a lot in a pack, so it will last for quite some time. The packet itself reseals very well. The treats are quite large, but have rounded edges, and they're easy to break in half or crumble onto other food. The ingredients list is very impressive: lots of natural things to help kitty's health, and no nasties. I was concerned the treats would have a strong/garlicky smell, but they do not. They have an inoffensive chicken scent with a hint of seaweed, like Dreamies crossed with dry goldfish food flakes.

I have been using verm x for my cat for years. It is excellent. It does keep her gut healthy & since using she has not had any fleas either, the vets always said no worms, no fleas & vice versa. I don't use any other worming or flea treatments now, so can keep her chemical free, which is so much better for her. I will say I don't know if it's the same for all cats, she's not a hunter & when she goes outside, never leaves the garden, she never has.I only wish they weren't so big, she's 13 now & her teeth aren't quite up to the job, she drops some pieces out of her mouth & sometimes she refuses them now, ( She used to eat 2 per day ) She doesn't like it if I break them up, so I just see how she feels.I wish they would make them a little smaller, I'd rather be able to give 4 smaller, than none. I really don't want to introduce chemical treatments at this stage of her life.

i have noticed a nasty slur written about these and feel compelled to reply. there is no reason in these ingredients to suggest it could possibly harm your cat! i have had my 3 cats on these for nearly 2 years and they are definitely healthier on them! it is not only a way to monitor gut health in between worming but they are tasty to cats, and have been found to deter fleas. i would definitely concur with this as one of my cats is very succeptible to fleas being female white and long haired. she no longer suffers with hair falling out through excessive biting and irritation and it has been a miracle cure for our luna. so to set the record straight,do not take the word from some vitriolic hysterical woman whose vet doesnt know what hes talking about!!!

I hzve been using these for about a month now. One cat loves them, one won't touch them. I have two cats and thought these "treats" would be easier and less stressful than applying a spot-on wormer every month. One of my cats enjoys them, the other took one sniff, walked away and refused to eat them Tried again but she obviously doesn't want to eat them. I give my other cat 2 a day and he readily eats them. They are crunchy, comma shaped and quite big, about twice the size of a normal cat treat such as Dreamies etc. They are quite hard but you can break them in two to make it easier for your cat to eat. As to their efficacy, I can't tell yet, will have to see. Will update in a couple of months.

Five stars is supposed to mean 'I love it'; well, that isn't exactly true, but my cat certainly does. I think he would happily eat nothing but these, they really are like giving him a treat. At about £10 a 120g packet they seemed a bit on the expensive side, so I counted them. Really. 120g = about 100 'biscuits', so that's going to be c£35 for one cat for one year even at one per day - bigger cats need two and £70 is a lot to see off worms. On the other hand, I'm tempted to buy the big pack - at 480g that should be well over a year's supply for my kitty at a bargain price, and gets the expense over in one fell swoop. As long as no-one mistakenly fills his bowl up with these by mistake .....

One of my cats had big issues with her digestion when I got her. She was fed senior cat food as a kitten and had never been wormed. After the usual worming treatment did not do much difference and the vet decided she is in good health I tried it with the little pack first, before buying the big pack. After a couple of weeks already there were results of improvement. Definitely seems to have worked wonders. I am convinced that those treats have helped her digestion to sort itself out!Now both of my critters are getting them daily and they love them! While one chews them up to make them smaller the other just swallows it down as a whole. The size doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

hi, id like to review these as we've had alot of success with them.our cat hates any kind of chemical treatment and we werent sure what to do. but then i came across the idea of using herbal methods.well, these fit the bill for treating worms, and my cat happily eats them as a treat twice a day.the other product we use is for fleas, called "PROTECT UM" which we mash up and add to food. again, our cat happily eats this and its very good for controlling fleas.so with these two products used together, we've had no problems with parasites for several years :)highly reccomended.

My cat Al is the pickiest cat I have ever had. I read the reviews about this product and bought it expecting his Majesty to turn up his nose and walk away. He loved them! I was speechless. This is the same cat that will not eat something he doesn't like. It gets to be a battle of wills. Even if I refuse to give him anything else he always wins. So believe me him eating this product is a miracle. The reviews are correct it is really tasty to my cat. Don't know about the worms but it's much better than giving him other tablets when he bites me for trying to make him take them.

Having to constantly struggle to give my cat any treatment for intestinal pests, I was delighted to come across this product. When it arrived, I opened it to give my cat her first treatment, and she took one sniff, and crunched away immediately - no fuss, no tears (from me), and a daily 'treat' that she really looks forward to :)As she's only been eating these for a month, it's early days for results yet but, as she constantly does what cats do, and hunts for her own 'treats', I've seen no signs of any problems that tend to happen because of this so far.

I began using these a couple of years ago for my (mostly) indoor cat. I like that they are a big size and since we started giving them to her, she has never had any issues with her constitution at all!! We have never seen any worms either! I'm not say that they are the same thing as wormers, but they do seem to have kept her digestive tract in good condition! Our other recently adopted cat also loves them, and considers them his daily treats! They both do some real hum-dingers in the litter tray so their system is definitely in good working order!! LOL

I couldn't tell you what I think of the flavour, as I fed them to the cats, but the cats, at least so far, haven't told me what they think of the flavour either. They eat them enthusiastically and since I started feeding them there has been no sign of worms and the cats seem to be scratching themselves a lot less, so as others have previously suggested, I suspect external parasites are being deterred, too. The packet seems to be lasting a lot longer than I thought, so making them a bit less expensive than anticipated. Will continue to use them.

The cats absolutely love these! They are normally very discerning (fussy) eaters, and I have wasted so much money on treats they wouldn't eat. So I was concerned they might waste these as well, but I'm happy to report they come running whenever they hear the packet being moved. They adore these.I can't comment on whether they work in terms of parasite control, but both my cats have rather sensitive stomachs and since starting these a couple of months ago, their stomachs have been sound, and they have been eating more healthily.

I’ve always used VermX with my adopted animals to keep them healthy. It’s a huge shame they’re not able to advertise these properly, but vets and store can freely promote harmful poisons to worm treat animals. After adopting our first cat we switched to these daily biscuits. And very luckily our fussy girl said they’re delicious! So she now asks for them first thing before starting her breakfast each day. She’s several years old and they have kept her in perfect health and contented.VermX deserve a medal or ten!

Have been using this product now for well over 2years as my cat was being sick immediately after nearly every meal for no apparent reason. We did get him checked by a vet too. They have been a game changer. Now only sick when bringing up fur, so very infrequently. His coat is also better and he loves them! Have recommended them to a friend whose cat was being sick and also soiling a lot. Again same result, noticeable improved. Would not hesitate to recommend, all natural as well so a bonus!
