Bought these to replace twenty year old Karrimors which were showing their age. First impressions of these German-made panniers were that they were heavy and plasticky. They are certainly waterproof, being made of an impermeable synthetic material, but they are considerably heavier than the Karrimors. Capacity is slightly larger, but they have no rear pockets just a small pocket on the side for perhaps storing a few bits and bobs, like an old rag and a can of oil. Once attached to the rear carrier they are very difficult to remove and grip like a vice. This makes them awkward to remove quickly. They have an arrangement similar to the Karrimors for attaching to the lower end of the carrier,

Well made and great value for the money.Disadvantages are that they do not stand up easily on their own when filling/ unfilling so best to rest them against a wall or something. Also, on one occasion I rode fast over a smooth dip (maybe about 3 inches deep) on a muddy track and the movement of the bike down and up caused a bag to become unhooked and fall off. Minor point also the clips can pinch your hand if you don't take care. I imagine a more expensive set would not have these issues but these are nevertheless great value if that is what you are looking for.Tip - tuck the shoulder strap pads through the handles a couple of times to keep them tied back when riding

Good quality, durable and waterproof, clips can be a bit awkward but that's not such a bad thing as they are harder to pinch. add a few zip ties or some velcro to keep them there I reckon. extra clips are cheap enough if you have to go heavy.with the partner rucksack they make a good touring setup as you can keep your sleep kit in the top bag then use the same bag to go day tripping.not as light as alturas but my alturas fell apart as I'd rather pick a lower gear and have dry secure kit at the end of the trip with british weather the way it is.

Excellent panniers,good large size ,good to have the velcro fix base boards that you can use when carrying large or heavy loads, but be able to easily remove them when storing the bike taking up less width . They are well designed and look good too,very well made and being 100% waterproof and reflective,what more do you want, best panniers i've seen and used although i have not yet tested the waterproofness if that is such a word,others have let water in causing rusty tools and wet waterproofs and anything else being carried.

Very waterproof. Nice and big, tho for some might mean a bit heavy. Sturdy and adaptable fastenings, but if you want it to clip on and off easily, you might find it a bit awkward and stiff. Personally, as my old bag got stolen off the bike, I prefer the fact it's a bit stiff and takes a knack to remove - depending on your pannier, this might not even be the case. After looking at a lot of mid-budget options, I'm happy I went with these.

These bags are great! They clip on and unclip easily, they hold a great deal. I generally just use one for my daily commute, but I have the option of loading my bike up for a longer break if I want. They seem really sturdy and weather proof so far - although the final proof of that won't come until the winter months. Overall I very happy, feel I got great value for money, and would recommend these bags to others.

Arrived prompt, best service I've ever received from a marketplace seller! If you don't own these you should as the quality is fantastic. As the wether is excellent in the UK at the moment not sure about this product being 100% waterproof as of yet BUT it's German built so i have no doubts about the waterproof side of the product.

Great value for money. Very well made, good fixings - adjustable so no worries about hitting my size 11 feet on them. Made in Germany with good quality material and scotchlite reflective panels. Have not yet used them much so will review if any problems.

I use one,with a second on on order for delivering local news papers. They hold lots of papers. The water proof element looks good. The week part if any is where they attach to the rack on the bike. Certainly a good first impression, but time will tell

Have not really used them to ther full potental yet but they fit nice easy to take on and off and look good after I've used them more I might give a 5 star raiting but ya Iam pleased with them and it was a quick delivery as well

These panniers look very good quality,lovely white colour, sadly much larger than I required for daily short rides.The roll top bags make them very large. Also quite wide, ideal for serious touring. Returned.

It's bigger than I expected, and really well built. It's also got good hi-vis features. One negative is that it's quite slow to attach and remove. It's designed for some one with three hands.

Perfect size fit and appearance. Well made. I only have one minor gripe - this pair have exactly the same fittings. Might have been a better design if one was the mirror image of the other.

Very good bags. I just wished they would be a bit bigger. The hooks don't come off very easily (I don't leave them on a bike as I need to keep it outside), but it is not that bad.

I have now had a chance to use these in the rain and they are great. Tough, strong and great texture they are great for my needs.
