Vaude call this a medium bag meaning they also produce a larger version and a smaller one. My first thought on seeing it was, what on Earth can you fit into the smaller one? Two pound coins and a postage stamp? However, this medium bag proved big enough for my needs.Firstly, you need to work out what you want it for. For me, it was to hold an essential, on the road repair kit comprising a spare tube, a couple of tyre levers and a multi-tool. (I went for a decent sized frame mounted hand pump over CO2 injector or a smaller, less manageable pump. Either way, I don't think you'll get a good size pump in this bag.)Also, you need a bag that fits within the contours of the saddle, doesn't stick out to interfere with your ride. And there's little point in spare space which needs packing with an old sock to stop the contents rattling around when you ride. The medium bag fits well within the size and shape of a regular road bike saddle. After fitting, I went for a two hour ride and had no problems. As for contents, it was clear a budget chain store tube wasn't compacted enough to fit so I bought a smaller boxed tube from an Indie bike shop, along with a small Lezyne Rap-6 multitool, and a pair of shortish Lezyne non-metallic tyre levers. All fitted in snugly with a bit of space left for one house key and a credit card (as well as two pound coins and a stamp) but no more. The bag looks well made, good stitching, good zip. It's attached to the saddle and seat post by webbing style straps and velcro. This, I think, is preferable to rubber type straps for durability and tightness - they won't stretch or shake loose. Fitting is easy: attach the seat post strap first, tighten and fasten the velcro. Then shuffle it up under the saddle and thread the two other straps through the bars of the saddle frame, tighten and fasten. Done.Inside the bag is a stiff tongue which, I imagine, is there to help remove packed in items by pulling it out. It has to be pushed back again before repacking, otherwise it hangs out like a cartoon dog's tongue. On the outside of the flap (opening) is a patch over which a tail light can be clipped. After the initial surprise at its size, I see this bag ticks a lot of boxes with respect to my needs. Other solutions would be to carry it all in jersey back pockets (don't always have them) or in a second bottle/cage (but you might miss your water). This bag will do for me.

As there is no rating for this saddle bag, I will write a few brief words about it. Processing: Very nice, the fabric and the seams are in order, the bag looks good. Fastening: The bag itself is fastened to the seat post and the saddle by means of three Velcro straps - keeps bomb-proof in any terrain. Before the bag goes off at a bump the frame rather breaks apart. Platzangebot: Well, I had it me personally bigger presented, but this is not a mistake of the manufacturer but of me. I have a few self-adhesive patches, a pair of tire lifts and a spare hose (26 "from Schwalbe - do not want to make an advertisement but so you can estimate the dimension of the hose)The bag itself is somewhat" stretchy "and you get with something Gentle pressing the spare hose, etc. - the bag does not make the impression as if it bursts sometimes, but it becomes a little narrower. From the place you get the lights from the bike (LED spotlight and LED taillight) well in the bag, so you always have lighting, if the tour but once in the dark. Overall a good bag, for the money well in order. If you want to carry more tools along with spare hose, self-adhesive patches and tire hoists, then you should take the larger version of Vaude. I am very satisfied with the bag and will keep them in any case. :)

I saw the bag with a friend and then discovered it for me. I don't want bulky and large saddlebags on a racing bike. The Racebag M came in just the right place. The attachment to the saddle is firm, nothing shakes. My content: 1x CO² cartridge with pump head, 1x multitool, 1x tube, 2x tire levers. You don't need more The bag is neatly processed and has some reflective elements on the cap. The only drawback, the opening angle of the cap is not 90⁰. This makes it difficult to remove the necessary items when the bag is installed. Otherwise a great product. A purchase recommendation from me.

The picture shown does not really get over to the potential buyer what size this is. I was surprised at how small it actually is. I certainly wont get everything in it that I wanted to. Probably my tool kit with puncture repair stuff, and that's it. Certainly wont get a spare tube it unless I ram everything in really really tightly. That said, it seems to be well made and looks like it will hold its own on whatever treatment is thrown at it. Hopefully, the Velcro straps will hold in place, and I wont lose the costly tool-kit I just bought.Glad I didn't go for the smallest one !!

Where the "L" in the name of the saddle bag comes, does not really reveal itself. Okay, it's just a saddle bag, but except hose and (small!) Multitool does not fit more pure. The ratchet and tire lifter must be stowed away somewhere else. After all, the bag is chic and valuable. I also have a luggage bag from Vaude, and both together then go for larger trips.

Good material that allows me to bring a lot of small equipment: multi-function tool, adhesive patches, 2 minutes, 1 spare tube, a small tissue, 1 pair of nitrile gloves, 1 cartridge of CO and its adapter, my card ID, a little money and the key to my car. Could have been a little less wide to fit the narrower profile of a race bike saddle

The bag is of good quality and meets expectations. Smooth opening at the back with a small pocket at the top for an Allen key type. However, it is not a big bag. Gives just space with, 1st hose, 2 tire tools, 2 hex wrenches, pump nozzle and 1 x 16gr cartridge. So for me it's perfect. But the "food" is allowed in the back pockets ?

The product is excellent and has a correct price. But by default the packaging label sent me a wrong size. Best of all, however, that the return was easy and trouble free. It is a guarantee to buy who does not put you on the return. The shipping costs, very contained. I will be back. Thanks for everything...

I found the bag works best with logo facing upside down. Its the only way I could get the velcro to firmly attached around the seat. This way hold firmly. The bag is lightweight and for me fits one inner tube, a multi tool, small rool of tape and a couple of patchrs. Sadly no room for. a bannana :)

Processing quality top, velcro closure keep bomb-resistant. Size sufficient for all those who want to take the most important with them. Space for money and mobile phone (all 4-inch smartphones should have space). If you want to take more, you should take the bigger version.

The bag itself is of good quality, but is smaller than I expected. I took the size M because I also wanted to use it for MTB. A 29er hose doesn't fit in at all. I squeezed in a road bike tube, 2 of 3 tire levers, and a very small multitool (Topeak Mini 20 Pro).

I would buy the saddlebag again anytime. Sits firmly on the saddle, also has inside pocket. After a few months of use, the quality is really very good. Very satisfied. The reflectors, which enable better visibility, are also positive. Good job, VAUDE

I got the package in timely manner and am very happy with the product. I got 2 keys, my lock, my cellphone and my wallet in there. I ordered the Large version. Feels so good not to have to carry my backpack on me while riding.

Very useful and a correct size to carry a set of keys (of the house), a multifunction clamp, two allen keys, a little money, and an inner tube (two tire remover also come in). Fits easily under the seat; Discreet, efficient.

Small enough not to stand out on a road bike, but note: smartphone does not fit (iPhone 7, 8). Here you can fit an inner tube, tire levers, small multi-tool and CO2 cartridge with head without problems.
