Not super bright, but plenty bright nonetheless for close range use indoors at night - a big plus, if the torch proves built to last. (In my experience the switches on LED torches account for the bulk of failures, and that on some costing 4 or 5 times the cost of this one.) Hopefully the battery life will be in hours instead of minutes.More plus points: no flashing light, and a discrete small diameter circle of light. Fantastic quality pentorch. Working as Paramedic I've tried loads of reusable pentorches but the cheaper alternatives always seem to drain the battery rapidly and always die when needed most.This torch however is definitely worth the price and has been completely reliable to date. It acts as a great little backup torch for jobs when the scene is a bit darker. Use with caution on patients in dark settings as it is on the brighter side of the scale.

I use this everyday in my job. it is so handy and clips into the top of my uniform pocket as it is weighted a little bit in my mind well doesn't fall out of your top pocket as other pen torches have done in the past. I would highly recommend this pen torch. 20/10 this is my second torch I have bought and will continue to buy. I bought mine at a great price.Thank you.

I used to go through the pen torches like there's no tomorrow but these varta one are tougher and all round more reliable I would highly recommend as I use it every day in work ?even came with battery's.

Handy torch, not too sure if the click switch will last. I’m a clinician and have to click the switch several times. 2 out of 10 times it sticky. Overall satisfied.
