I am a titanium geek, I am not a camping person, I just like titanium for everyday use. I had the other Vargo titanium bottle with titanium lid, which I got rid of, because it was too thin and flimsy, the joint was welded poorly with overlapping sheet, this was way too annoying to clean the bottle when I put something other than water, things got caught at the joint, I gave up cleaning thoroughly, so as you can imagine the first thing I looked at when I bought this bottle, the quality of welding. The joints are not as smooth as Snow Peak bottles, but there is no overlapping part, I put my index finger inside the bottle to feel the joint, it is rounded enough to clean the bottle thoroughly.

I read the reviews and decided to purchase the Para Bottle. It was just as I hoped it would be. I take it with me daily and have no issues with leaks, bad taste, or anything else. I don't care for the paracord connecting the lid. I think it would certainly melt down over a fire and I don't plan to be in a position where a 7' piece of paracord is going to save my day. I took it off and used a short stainless cable instead. It works as a loop to keep the lid and bottle together and will make the bottle more useful in the woods if I do heat it over a fire.I read that some people are concerned with the weight. I don't find the bottle to be too heavy,

Nicely crafted bottle - as it should be at that price. The screw plug closes completely tight but due to its design I have the feeling that the plug has the same weight than the rest of the bottle. That reduces the weight advantage of this titanium piece of art compared to steel bottles with plastic plug. One recommendation to Vargo: the para cord should be linked to the bottle via carabiner or something which can be unhooked quickly to allow to heat up the bottle and its content on an open fire - without melting the para cord off... Summary: must for titanium enthusiasts, nice design, but usability could be improved (see above)

Not an ultra light but is dang tough in comparison to my titanium 750 bottle.Have dropped and banged this para-bottle, no tough scars on it yet. The lid has some real heft to it. Make sure you hold the cord with your thumb as to hold the lid back from cracking you in the face.Yeah you can find a cheap ole bottle or even a double wall option, but if you have done your homework on titanium not leaching a metallic taste or have had the honor of drinking from a military canteen, you will appreciate the differenceGet yourself a Nalgene bottle adapted filter system and your set for any water source.

24 hours since I've bought this and it's really fantastic thus far. It's a very high quality item, precisely engineered and built to last. No leakage whatsoever on my bottle, and loving everything about it: the nice water taste, the solid construction, light weight, and the beautiful aesthetics.I got it on sale for about 40% off. Would it be worth the full price? Hmmm, probably not. It's a great water bottle but not worth the $140.00 price tag. Getting it under $100, well it's still expensive but I can live with that given that it's a very nice item. Definitely no regrets investing in it.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on various water bottles through the years— always on the search for the perfect one. This happened to be on sale and I’ve always heard of Titanium as being amazing and durable. Now that I have this, all my other bottles are kaput. This is with me daily, travels everywhere. I’ve dropped it from the door of my truck several times (I let it rest between the door and my seat sometimes) and so far only one small ding on the bottom. Love it.

I bought two of these for a backcountry backpacking trips for 7 days through Wind River, Wyoming. These were great. They are light and stay clean. I also use them frequently for mixing super hot drinks. There are no plastics. It’s just titanium. I also think Vargo is an excellent company. I had a minor problem with one of the bottles. Vargo customer service promptly dealt with the issue and replaced the bottle. These are expensive but they are well worth it, IMO.

I love it. It works with the MSR Guardian, though I've found that it doesn't work well with the Lifestraw Universal due to the design of the threads on the bottle. It's definitely not ultralight, but it is durable and useful. I haven't experienced any leakage with mine. If I were going to boil water in it I'd untie the paracord first. A detachable clip on the bottle end of the paracord lanyard would have been useful and I may add one myself.

You can judge for yourself on the price, but it is everything you expect in a titanium water bottle. Durable (not like the last iteration, which dented easily) and stands up to boiling water and fire. I enjoyed the unexpected bonus of being able to use it as a hot water bottle in the sleeping bag on a cold night.

Bought it for camping, but after it arrived I have given up the hydro flask I carried for a few years and now carry this everywhere..Well made, perfect size, it does not have that metallic flavor other metals add to your water..Glad I finally decided to purchase it.

A bottle for almost 200 €? Well, the scrap value gets it out again! ? Fine bottle, worked very clean! My absolute favorite part! Will be taken everywhere! Environmentally friendly, because for me now only teabags as garbage incurred and no plastic bottles more!

Nice, light weight, does not make water taste funny, texture gives good grip. Despite its light weight it feels sturdy, like it will last a lifetime. The lid is a bit heavy, I understand folks are 3d printing replacements of lighter materials.

Light weight and I like the paracord for the lid. The top does leak a little but I think a little silicone on the rivet will stop the leakage. Still gets 5 stars.
