Does the job it was designed for - keeps the tent clean and marks out the footprint of the tent which helps pitching. As the groundsheet of the tent is clipped in, not sewn, the footprint covers the gap along the front of the sleeping area which cuts down access by bugs ?. It's not tiny or featherweight so you may want to leave it at home when backpacking but at other times, an excellent addition to an excellent tent.
