I’m in the UK and bought this tent in December 2017 from Amazon’s Global Store. I was so pleased to find this tent at such a low price, and especially when compared to the Hilleberg tents I was seriously considering which were approaching 4x the price of the Xenon. It took more than 4 weeks to arrive and I was a little anxious that the US was out of stock as the permanent message was awaiting shipping date. However, when that suddenly changed to despatched it was about a week longer to arrive. There were no additional charges from UK Customs, so the total price was that shown on Amazon.co.uk. The product was well packed and in perfect condition with nothing missing. The tent weight is 1.8 kg and I’m delighted with that as my pack weight will be around 20kg,or less. My other tents are 4,5 and 5kg respectively which made me very concerned for my new interest in wild camping. I’m sure the tent as supplied will make buyers happy, but I have spare materials so I’ve immediately made the following changes: discarded the lower quality alloy pegs for MSR pegs and added an additional x4 3mm Hilleberg guys to strengthen the corners. Probably unnecessary but I had 25m of guy in store. In addition, I purchased a Xenon footprint for about £35 as I like the extra security of the double floor and like the vestibule covered so that I can sit in it, or lie in it when cooking outside. It adds to the weight, but it’s only just over 2kgs now. The fine fabric results in a small pack and this fits comfortably in the bottom compartment of my Osprey Atmos 68L pack, including poles. With only two poles, the tent is very easy and quick to erect and the poles slid easily into the tubes. Zips are very good and fabric joints are well sealed. I have full confidence in its quality and construction. The space is extra long and takes my 6 feet length with over 1 foot spare, so no difficulties there. Sleeping corner to corner would accommodate a 7 feet tall person. I’ll be using this tent for solo use and the space at the side of my sleep mat will absorb my pack and it’s contents. I much appreciate the side netting for the easy location of keys, wallet, iPod, phone etcI’ve had the tent up a few times during my customising process, but have not been on the hills with it yet. That’ll happen soon, in February, as I started the year with a January outing in the Lakes with another of my tents. I look forward to using the Xenon and I’ll report back when I have.

If you're shopping around various manufacturers, this tent bears comparison with some very much more expensive and glamorous alternatives. It's not the very lightest of its type at 2.4kg, but not the heaviest either by a long way. It's a true 3/4-season tent, made with good solid weatherproof materials, decent HH ratings on the fly and floor, with room for two and space to spare for a solo traveller. Easy and quick to erect and take down, with the outer and inner pitching together, packs away easily in a wide-mouthed compressible stuffsack, and doesn't take up much room in a rucksack. The vestibule has a door on both sides, which many don't, and this option really helps when you wake up to find the wind has shifted during the night. The overall footprint is also relatively short at 3.9m, making it less of a problem to find a clear space to pitch. Headroom is around average, the inner tent is long enough for most adults (but narrows significantly towards the foot of the tent). It's a comfortable space to sit out bad weather, and there's plenty of space to get bags and wet kit under cover as well. Vango's Tension Band System braces the tent against wind, but I've yet to see how well it stands up to a real gale. It would be good if Vango included some real-life use videos of their technical tents out in harsh conditions, especially those carrying the F10 brand, which should all be capable of standing up to the rough stuff. Even larger vents (at each end) would make it better at handling condensation.Overall, highly recommended for extended trips. At this price, it's a real bargain.

An excellent tent for the price range, although I've not tried this out in bad conditions at the time of writing. Not the most ultralight, but you have to pay much more for that, at about 3 times the price. Still, 1.9 kg for a two person tent of this quality is brilliant. There is lots of room, easily enough for two and brilliant for one plus equipment. It's not perfect - the pegs are bog standard, not too strong and the dyneema guy lines are not reflective in the dark. Both of these things can be replaced easily though. Airflow won't be the best in the world either, but I think it will be manageable. Really good clearance between the fly and the inner which should minimise any condensation getting through the inner.Inner can be detached from the fly sheet with ease. Pockets down the full length of each side of the inner, as well as a couple above the inner door are really good features. Points around the fly sheet to tighten up the slack seem like they'll ensure minimal flapping in strong winds. Finally, a decent sized porch with two way zips for extra ventilation, especially if cooking in poor weather.

Positive: It arrived promptly; easy to put up (though instruction was full of insider terms; but it works like a standard tunnel tent); nice quality poles; a lot of space for 2 people (and I am 192 cm tall), surprising for such a small tent;Negative: On the internet (and the product sheet) you find the weight as 1.65 kg and even 1.4 kg "trail weight" (?), but the actual weight is 1.854 kg.The outer bag for the tent is too big and a bit strange in design, the straps on this outer bag are to slippery, you cannot really adjust them

Easy standard setup, colour coded pole sleeves. Roomy interior. Bought for sea kayaking camping trips as it will go through the hatches. Vango do not make a footprint for this tent which seems somewhat short sighted. Yes they do have pro`s & cons............. Added a wash line to the inner to air off damp stuff. Loads of side pockets too. Ventilation looks good but not field tested as yet.I have not been able to test this as yet as the intended trips were unfortunately canceled.

It's one of the best widely available 2-person tents in this weight, outer layer, as well as floor, sustained heavy rains. Both layers are attached to each other so this tent is really easy to pitch, bigger issue is to tense it with pegs but after few tries it is possible to do it in like 5-10 mins. This tent is also really enduring for wind. Overall it is really nice tent in its category but I wouldn't buy it again because recently I discovered cuben fibre tents.

Used this on a month long cycle camping tour in France this year (2017) It kept me and my gear completely dry in some VERY heavy rain storms along the way. My only problem was in a few campsites with very hard ground (or the opposite- very sandy) where different pegs were needed to anchor it. (Used local sticks and rocks as the lightweight pegs were either too fragile or not long enough- not really a criticism - just a comment)

After the first test of the store in the field I have to say that this product has exceeded my expectations. We had a storm with a lot of rain and wind during the first night, and no water came in or was damaged by the strong wind. Although a little expensive, I think it has been a very good purchase.

Although I haven't had the chance to use it properly yet, it was easy to put up and very spacious- to the extent that I could have opted for the smaller version. Nice and light too

Outstanding piece of kit. I am a frequent wild camper and in terms if value this I rate very highly as a tent. Lots of room made usable by the gothic arches.

Very good value for money. The ropes would be more eroding and the wedges more robust.

Well a couple can sleep up to sleep. Narut could really appear in the parem.

I like the tent well, but did not use it until the weather was nice.
