This is the right sleeping bag for Britain outside of the summer months.You could use this quite comfortably from late October right through to March.The comfort rating is +10c to -12c.This means that it would be too warm to use above ten degrees, and too cold below minus twelve.At this range you will sleep comfortably in a curled up position wearing suitable sleeping attire.Anything warmer than this, such as Black's -18c bag would be too warm for this climate here.It has a maximum usage temp of +15, which is a little too limited.There would be very few days in this country where this would be comfortable, and it is more suitable for alpine or scandinavian regions in my opinion.Blacks is a fine company.I have a 1969 "Good Companions" tent still going strong,

Very warm compresses well. Slightly narrower than I thought it would be. But all in all the best sleeping bag iv had so far. Tested last week in temperature of -3 with basic roll mat.
