I have bought several of these cable in two different configurations, down and right, to use with my laptop and small PCs that have limited clearance around the USB ports. I am very happy with them as they allow me to keep the cables tidier, and reduce the risk of knocking a bulkier USB connector and possibly damaging it, the port or both.These are USB 3 cables and I am very happy with their performance. Whilst two of the cables are used for input (mouse, and joystick) I use the others to connect disk drives to PCs whose USB ports are fairly inaccessible due to their location. I bought this for one particular reason, the external hard drive on my PS4 - Sony have insane user experience design, or never thought that anyone would need an external drive on the console, because the only placement for the USB ports are on the front, and when you have an external drive plugged in the cable sticks out and is incredibly ugly...Using this cable to "solve" this means that the cable now runs across the front of the console, it's still not attractive, but it goes towards rectifying a big issue that Sony have ignored!If you also have an external drive on a PS4, pick up this type of cable - they mean that the cables aren't as obvious, but still visible,

Got my delivery today. Came in minimal packaging which I was happy about (I sometimes get huge unnecessary parcels for very small items). Product is just as described by seller. Delivery was swift.As to the performance of the cable, I have done some quick transfer rate tests, where I copied big files from my external USB 3.0 drive to my laptop's SSD, and the consistency was there. Could not spot any difference at all between using the external drive with or without the extension cable, speed consistency was of ~105MB/s in both cases. Will repost after few months of using it. Hopefully nothing changes. :)

My MacBook Pro laptops rest on a special, one-legged table just big enough for my largest laptop, a 17" MacBook Pro. Cables emerging from the ports of my laptop fall towards the floor about 1-metre below. In order to avoid long loops of USB cables flapping around, getting in my way, I use these 'drop-down' adapters, primarily to prevent me snagging the cables when I walk around the table. Snagging was commonplace even when exercising great care but since fitting these USB adapters all snagging has ceased. A brilliant solution. I just wish there was a Firewire 400 / 800 drop down adapter.Highly recommended if you have USB cables sprouting out from the sides of your laptop that just keep getting

Used this for inserting in USB socket in my car dashboard. A standard USB plug with the cable coming straight out is just a nuisance for this purpose. This cable with right-angle USB plug completely solves the problem! -- But you have to know which way the plug goes in the socket - right-angle cables are available for going up or down. Check which you need against the product photos first just to make sure!

Absolutely superb !!! Works great with my PS4 and external 1Gb Seagate HDD. Right angled plug is correct way round for PS4. Cable comes from USB plug round right side of PS4 away from disc drive slot so well out of the way and looks very neat. Black colour blends in with PS4 so well hidden. Couldn't recommend any higher.

If you have a machine in a tight space. for example on a shelf above your work surface, this might just be the one you are after. These are available in up/down or left/right variations, but this one worked for us as the workstation is above the work surface.

If you have a PS4 or Pro and you want to hide your USB devices this is the cable to use. Do not buy x2 however as the angle of these cables means you would only be able to use one of these at a time.

Its a cable not much to say really, it works and looks to be fairly well made. It can provide enough power for my Corsair K70 RGB Keyboard, so that's a plus point..

They do what they are designed for and unlike other reviews I can confirm that this works with my PS4 and Seagate 1TB HD just make sure its a USB3 drive :)

Just the job to use in the car. Makes it easier to swap USB sticks while also giving protection to the car usb socket.
