Until Dawn is a great game and was recommended to me by my sister and I have to say I was very impressed. What works best about the game is the story and characters. The plot is very well written and thought out and each character has some good if not great development. They are all individual. We have Chris who is a bit of a nerd, Ashley who is sweet and cute. Chris and Ashley really fancy each other but struggle to express their feelings, it's very sweet to witness and well written. Sam who is brave and loyal, Mike who is a bit of a sleaze and a womaniser but an overall loyal guy, Jess who is an airhead, she knows she is pretty and guys gravitate towards her. We also have Emily who is an absolute B****!She is so horrible to Matt and Jess. A very selfish person and the most unlikeable character in the game. Matt is Emily's boyfriend who is a nice guy. Of course there is also Josh who is Hannah and Beth's brother. The revelations about Josh are very interesting and seeing his grief take over him and his mental state's descent is really quite intriguing. He is probably the most developed character. The other 2 characters are: Dr Hill who is Josh's therapist and a guy simply called; "Flamethrower Guy." They're not the main characters, but they are interesting nonetheless. The graphics are very good and the game looks great. It is tense and scary just like a horror movie. It feels like a playable horror film. The gameplay is however very basic, there's not always a lot for the player to do in terms of using the controller. You press buttons and move the analog stick at various points and then walk characters around, so there could have been more activity in the gameplay. The story keeps it interesting and some of the decisions you make do affect the outcome of the story and characters' relationships with each other, which is fantastic and adds to the replay value of the game. I played it twice. First time I finished the game only saving Chris. The second time I saved: Chris, Ashley, Mike and Emily. The Wendigos are also very creepy and scary. My only other minor complaint is that I think the first 2 chapters are a little slow but stick with it, cause it's worth playing through all that to get to the later chapters and the end. Overall this is a really good game with a great story and characters, and fun decision making that'll keep you glues to your seat. Play the game in the evening when it's dark to create the best atmosphere ;) I score Until Dawn a 9/10

Truely amazing and addictive and i must have jumped a dozen times and yelped about half a dozen times. It can be a little slow (the charactors walking no jogging or running when you control the charactors) but other than that its all good.Ive only really played Resident Evil series and the Suffering 1 & 2 and silent hill 1 & 2 so i wasnt sure what to expect. This has it all, great script, great Charactors and you actually decide what happens in the game. I completed it once and i cant wait to play again to see if anything changes or maybe a different survivor(s) perhaps?and i love Peter Storemore (prison break) and i reconised the guy from the WW2 series Pacific as well didnt reconise anyone else unfortunately but all played their roles brilliantly.Well done to all involved.I hope to see more of these kind of games and its probably my favourite ps4 game at the moment after Uncharted was my favourite ps3/ps4 continuing series.10/10 in reality for Until Dawn but only 5 stars available on here.I have the extended edition and i do have a voucher code if thats what someone was talking about as they said they never received any code with their extended version.Did You Know?Only 3 exclusive games have been made for the ps4 since its arrival "Knacks, Bloodborne and Until Dawn" as far as im aware...the rest are either Sequels or Remasters from ps3, which isnt very good when you think about it....is it now?BUY this game i say! Play an original game for once!

Frankly this is an excellent game. The writers have captured the feel of a campy teen horror movie perfectly, filling the game with annoying characters, jump scares and perilous situations. The game looks amazing and the soundtrack is pretty good too. A friend and I played through it in one evening, taking it in turns to hold the controller and discussing the choices before we made them. The story flowed at a good pace and kept us entertained. I believe it will have replay value as you can play through again and make different choices to see how it effects the story. I enjoyed it very much and will definitely play again at a later date.

Brilliant game. As there’s no decent games coming out at the moment I thought I’d have a look for games with a good story to them. This isn’t my usual type of game but I absolutely loved it. The story was great with twist and turns, lots of scares, and a likeable set of characters. You basically have to try getting all of the group to survive the night. I managed to save 7 out of 8 friends....you have to be quick to press on the QuickTime events and also think about 50 50 decisions which will impact how your story turns out. Never heard of this game before I found it a few months ago but I highly recommend if you like a good horror. ?

I love these kind of games and found this one in particular one of the best !! I enjoy how you take control of the outcome to each character! I still haven't managed to keep them all alive however but ! You can replay and make different choices to form different outcomes highly recommend if you like heavy rain!

I went into playing this blind, i heard rumours it was controlled like heavy rain so never bothered until now but gotta say really enjoy it storyline twists around yiur desicision so not just a game youll play once amazing

For the lovers of horror movies.Like "Heavy Rain" and "Life Is Strange", this is their horror relative.Get really into the story and certain emotional ties with each character through out the game.

Wow what a story. It's like been in a horror film. The gory scene's are gory. The action is great fun. I played this at night with the lights off and headphones on. Well worth a buy.

Excellent Son loves this game and so do i.Basically anyone could finish it but you decide what happens you have a tiny bit of control but not much.

It has loads of atmosphere, keeps you on edge ,stunning scenery and a great story.Perfect for me, the kind of game I've been waiting for 10/10

Bought as a secret gift for my son. He found the story setting and variable outcomes interesting and enjoyable. Definitely worth the price

An entertaining game but it was with some relief that some of the moaning shouty victims reached such a sticky end. Good fun game though.
