These pens are absolutely fabulous. And here's why.1.) They have the least bleed-through I've ever seen on a gel pen. It's hardly noticeable. Don't get me wrong, it's there, but it's so un-noticable, even on thin notebook paper.2.) The tip is so fine! It's great for drawing, sketching, writing, you name it. The tip is very small. If you're a big writer like I am, your writing will look half as large because this pen is so fine. Personally, I like that kind of thing.3.) They feel nice in your hand. They're just...comfortable.5.) They are completely water-induced bleed proof (a.k.a. if you spill water on your paper, you will be able to see the writing perfectly clear. I have done watercolor with these pens.No bleed.6.) They dry super quickly so there is no chance of smudging. Not even if you have clammy hands. That ink isn't going anywhere. The only thing negative I have to say about these pens is that because the tip is so fine, it writes a little bit scratchy. I don't mean that the writing itself is messy, the ink flows very nicely without stopping. What I mean to say is that it literally makes a small scratching noise as it moves across the paper because the tip is so fine. I don't mind this, but..other people might. I COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!OH. AND. The shipping was super quick too. It came about 4 days earlier than it was predicted. I just got standard shipping and it came a couple days early. ENJOY!

These are great smooth pens that don't bleed. I've only ever written in moleskine notebooks or post-its with these or post-its as i use it for work, so it may depend on the paper you use. Obviously if you're writing on something like vellum for a invitation then it's not going to look great. It's not my go-to pen, but has a permanent 2nd place go-to. The one I use on a daily basis is the uniball Jetstream 5 in 1 fine point pen and when I have clients signing something or when I to an event I bring these guys because they give a bold "statement."Pros:- Fast shipping (not as fast as prime but faster than what I expected, it took about 1.5 weeks)- smooth writing, which means i don't have to write with as much force to get ink out- it's got that great "shimmer" when you first write but dries really fast so it doesn't smudge. I am right hand dominant so for me it's not a problem but left handers, depending on how you write, might have to slightly alter your hold if you drag your hand across while writing; nonetheless it dries pretty fast.- soft rubber grip so that it doesn't slip- barrel is just the right sizeCons:- i wish it came in a retractable version; if you know where to get one please let me know!!***Note these were purchased on my own accord and in no way did I receive a discount for giving a positive rating.

I am an Architecture student who uses these pens both for writing and taking notes in lectures and class to drawing and sketching. I absolutely love these pens, after I noticed how clean and precise my friends sketches and notes were I asked if I could see his pen. He told me he purchased them in China but I took down the model and found them here on Amazon. I recommend these pens for anyone who is looking for a pen with a beautiful tight and clean line weight. I have had no issues using these pens on several different types of paper and for both sketching/drawing and writing.Pros: - Absolutely clean and neat line weight because of the 0.38 mm thickness- Clean and simple design that is comfortableto hold and useCons: - The only slight problem I have had is that I have to "scratch" a piece of junk paper sometimes to get the ink to work, it's worth mentioning because I have had to do this several times which is a little disappointing because I hope this doesn't become an issue once the ink level drops. I should note that I take care of the pens and put the cap back on right after or when they are not in use.

I'm pretty picky about finding the perfect pen for myself, especially since I like the use the same pen brand/model for years on end if I find the right one. And for further context, I look for an ideal combination of smoothness of writing (if you can't get your words down as fast as your fingers can move, the pen is not good enough!) AND fine point. Usually, this means I have to stop right at about 0.5 mm, since any finer of a point often means ink flow problems or something else that compromises the smoothness of the writing. But this pen has set the new bar for me, with its 0.38 mm point and smooth writing.(Just keep in mind that the fine point is almost like a needle and WILL pierce the paper or make grooves if you're not writing on a smooth surface or pressing down on the pen as you write -- that's just basic physics that no quality pen can really avoid. I saw a review about that, so wanted to throw that in here.) Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this pen and already have ink refills in my Amazon shopping list ready to go!

The Uni-ball Signo DX Um-151 Gel Ink pen has a very fine point. A much finer point than I can find in stores. I'm glad it's available here. Writing with this 0.38mm pen does feel a bit scratchier than some thicker point pens, but not scratchy enough to bother me. It's a very good price for a box of ten pens that would normally be unobtainium here in the states. I haven't used the pens long enough to comment on reliability and longevity, but if I find a problem, I'll do an update to the review. The first photo shows a writing comparison between this 0.38mm Uni-ball pen and a 0.5mm Pentel Energel. I love the thinner writing line of the 0.38mm Uni-ball, but I like the feel of the thicker barrel of the retractable Pentel better.Too bad I can't combine the features of the two pens into a single pen. The second photo shows the Uni-ball with the cap on and off. The cap is small and fortunately it securely snaps onto the other end of the pen when you're writing or it would be lost pretty quickly. I'm happy with the 0.38mm Uni-ball pens.

I first discovered these about four years ago when I was stationed in Korea, and I have been using them since. If you are ever in Japan or Korea, visit a stationary shop. They take pens and pencils to a new level. In fact I stocked up on these before leaving Korea, knowing that I would be returning to the land of Office Depots and Office Maxes where pens are all quantity and no quality.Anyway, the pens flow just right. They do not overflow and create a puddle of ink on your paper. They also do not require 30 pounds of pressure just to make a decent line. They write better on a stack of paper or other soft surface, but they still write well when the paper is against a hard surface.A single pen typically lasts me a few months before it either stops flowing or runs out of ink. They are extremely precise (.38 mm) but the writing is still visible. The shape is minimalist and ergonomic. They fit perfectly into the pen pockets of an ACU (Army combat uniform), and I suspect they will fit into any other pen pocket thanks to their size.

Just tried these out and was very disappointed that this .28 pen writes much thicker than .38 Uni Jetstream standard ballpoint. I was expecting finer lines from these pens. Overall they are a bit smoother than Jetstream and slightly darker ink. The feel of pen on paper contact is about identical to that of Pilot G2 .38 pens, and lines are slightly thiner, however G2 is retractable, slightly darker ink, and more comfortable(I have experienced where G2 falls off of my desk and hits floor with tip and it's ruined), I will have to test further to see the durability of this one compared to G2. But I will first be using up my .38 Jetstream one. I have been using G2 .38 exclusively past few years, will give this pen a good try, but from first impressions seems that the Jetstream .38 will be the pen of choice for me.

I wanted a nice fine pen for writing small and drawing fine details in diagrams and found these suggested a couple of years ago. I've now gone through 20 of these pens and have loved 19 of them. (1 was a little scratchy, the rest were as smooth as I could wish for) You might think 20 pens in two years means they don't last long, but that's not true. I write a lot. I know from having typed up my notes that I have written at least 200 thousand words in that time. And that's not including the pens people have borrowed from me and not given back because they fell in love with them too. It's difficult to get the 0.38mm in the UK, so I tried the 0.7mm too. It is wonderful and fluid, but the breadth of the stroke is such that it's for a larger writing style.

This is a slightly different pen that what I bought in Asia (Singapore), in that it says only Mitsubishi on the barrel, rather than Uni-ball. Cap is exactly the same. (Note that Singapore pen also had Mitsubishi on the barrel, just not as prominently.) However, the thickness of the line appears exactly the same. My guess is that these are indeed authentic pens. Also, I prefer these to pretty much everything else, including Hi-Tec Cs. The 0.38 line weight is amazing for anything from text to drawing. Rubber grip is nice as well. I never want to use anything else.

I’m a nurse and writing is a big part of my job and I’ve always been picky with the type of pen I use. I’ve experimented and bought many pens seeing which ones work for me and I finally found the best for me. I like how fine the pen is and how it allows me to use a gel pen without having to worry about bleeding through the paper (which is the reason why the nurses at my facility are told not to use gel pens). It’s easy for me to write quickly and yet still be very readable. If you’re picky about what pen to use try this and maybe you’ll find it’s the one for you.

This is by far one of the best pens I have ever written with. I journal quite a bit and this pen has allowed me to write crisp and clear words, and because of the fine .38mm tip I am able to fit more words on a line now. I highly recommend this pen if you are a "snob" when it comes to what you write with. The ink last a decent amount of time, similar to a gel pen. I haven't noticed any smearing except when I use a yellow highlighter. I'm not sure if this is a chemical thing or not, but in all other cases I haven't noticed smearing. Hope this review helps.

I write pretty small, and finding pens that accommodate my "font size" is surprisingly difficult. After ordering several different kinds of pens from various Asian stationary websites, I finally found Uni-ball Signo. I think I'm in love! With a pen! The gel ink flows perfectly until every drop is gone, lines are very crisp on the page, the grip is a nice size and very comfortable to write with for long periods, and refills are available for about half the price of the pen! Absolutely perfect. PLEASE keep this item in stock (or the refills!!!)

I absolutely enjoy writing with these pens. They make for a perfect daily driver around the office or journaling / note taking at home. I have used the 207, the Jetstream, and various other fine point pens, but the UM-151's 0.38 point really does it for me. It's a fine, dark line that is perfect for those of us who write a bit on the small side. The dimensions of the pen could be a touch wider for me (I have long fingers), but that's nitpicking.Quick to dry, no smearing, no railroading. Can't get better for the money in a fine point pen.

I bought this 10 pack (.38) and a 5 pack of the Pilot HI-TEC-C maica (0.4) pens for inking with watercolor. (Both purchased on Amazon. Will update review with seller name in a sec.)These are more waterproof than the Pilot and a little less waterproof than the Daiso knock-offs I had before these. ( My local Daiso doesn’t seem to have the black gel pens anymore. :( )Going to keep looking for the perfect watercolor ink. (i.e. fast drying, black, and waterproof.) These are not quite it - especially if I do any hatching.

These pens have given me extreme precision in my work and regular life. I can't seem to write accurate without writing extremely small, which these pens give me the ability to do. When it came to writing or hand-drawing, I felt rejected in my attempt to follow others hand-writing, but upon trying to break the normal and write the way I felt I could, I found out that I have perfect handwriting, but just at a different scale/perspective. It encouraged me to not give up and make every story fit my stroke.
