I like gel pens – the general look of ink without the mess of cartridges or ink bottles is a very appealing combination. And I like Uniball’s gel pens because they’re usually more reliable than some of the other brands on the market.Seeing an erasable pen again reminded me of the Papermate erasable ballpoint pens that appeared when I was small. To be honest, apart from the fact that the eraser is now a bit of plastic incorporated into the lid and the base, rather than an actual eraser, little appears to have changed with the technology. Sometimes the ink rubs out quite nicely with barely a mark, while at other times it leaves a distinct trace behind. The ink does seem to come off better if it’s had time to dry.In one test, I left some writing for a week and then erased it, and it worked well. You can also easily write over areas that have already been erased multiple times with no loss of clarity (other than that caused by any remaining ink from previous attempts). The black is a little pale, and it took several goes to get one of the blue pens working (often an issue with these sorts of pens). The green is very muddy and dark, but the red, purple, and pink are all good, readable colours (and you can’t say that for the pinks in all makes of gel pen).Thankfully, unlike with many products, the clamshell packaging is easy open so you have somewhere to store the pens when not in use. I’d have preferred three black and one blue pen rather than the two and two combination, but that’s just personal preference as I rarely use blue pens. Other than that, this is a fun, if slightly retro blast-from-the-past set that should keep you writing happily for a while.

When I got these to review I figured it would be a tough one to generate words and so it has proven, being a pack of multi-coloured pens....Still in the spirit of being grateful for a tester I gave them a go and yup. They make squiggly lines in various colours. And yes, they will rub out reasonably easily with the semi-hard plastic end cap on the pen. Actually, quite effectively so to be honest. You can see where the writing was due to a combination of the impression in the paper and the very faint line left but in reality the ink is effectively removed. From paper that is and I doubt that giving these to a small child and hoping your nice new painted walls will be equally safe may not hold true.Colours are vibrant and, well, multi-coloured.To be frank, this is not a set of pens really needed by a middle aged bloke. This is something for teenagers to draw with, annotate their writing books and to write doe eyed love notes in lessons. For that they are perfect. The pens are high quality and well made and if this is something you are looking for then these are as good as it gets.

These are a bit more than okay, but only just. As others have said, what was sent for the purposes of the review, wasn't a multi-coloured pack, but a straightforward pack of two blue, two black, one red.I can see these being of some value to children anxious to correct errors without crossing out, but other than that I can't quite see the point of them. The ink is lighter than standard inks, so that the marks made are fainter. The eraser -or rather, erasers - are hard plastic tips, rather than the soft rubber ones used with pencils. No debris is left behind when you rub out, but it is still possible to detect what was written - you need to overwrite it, for this to become hidden..These may be of value if you are writing on something where an error just can't be made, a form that can't be copied or reprinted, for example. Children and teens may appreciate a bit of novelty value, but do be aware, if you can rub out the writing, so can others. It may be wise not to use this on anything that is really important. .

Now I only write a cheque once in a blue moon I am quite ok with using ink that can be erased. Uniball is already a favourite brand for me, so I am delighted to own this set of eight colours. The rubbing out tools are on the end of the actual pen, and the cap. It takes a bit of action to remove the writing, so it is not casually or inadvertently done. There is still a slight shadow left after pressing the end over the ink, but as I will writing over it that doesn't matter. I think this will be especially useful for the colouring in books that I do with my grand children, we do sometimes go over the lines, and being able to erase that will be useful. The nib is medium, the colours are green, pink, scarlet, violet, two in royal blue and two in black. They can live happily in their presentation case which is transparent, and moulded to keep them under control. Just undo the back and then seal it shut again after use. I am enjoying writing and drawing with them and pleased with the results.

These Erasable Ballpoint Pens from Uni-Ball have a fine (0.7 mm) nib and are superb to write with. The five pens come on a card.Five pens, three colours ... two black, two blue and one red. These fine liner pens come complete with lid with an eraser at the end. The pens are comfortable to hold and to write with. These pens write extremely smoothly without a hint of dragging on the paper. The colours are bright, the lines are crisp and the ink colours look good on white paper. And best of all … anything you write or draw can be erased and the erased area can be written on again. We are a large family of seven and I use these colourful Uni-ball pens to add events, appointments etc. onto our family calendar, the appointments stand out which makes it easy for our children to look up appointments and events pertaining to them. Also if an appointment or event is cancelled I am able to erase the appointment and if necessary use the area again to add something else.

This is a great set of erasable pens which write really nicely, with smooth and consistent ink. They have click-on lids with the eraser on the tip. Those with a fidgety disposition might end up playing with the lid until it breaks off, but they seem fairly rigid. I like that the pen itself also has an erasing end, as well as the eraser on the lid, in case you don’t like holding the pen with the lid mounted on the back of the pen.The ink isn’t totally erased when you rub it out, you can still make bits of it out depending how thorough you have been, but on the whole it’s pretty impressive. This is achieved by the heating of the ink through the rubbing action which turns the ink transparent. As the ink is still technically on the paper, there is still evidence of the writing, so they recommend that you don’t use these for legal documentation.Happy to recommend, and the price is about fair for a decent set of erasable pens.

These are lovely to write with and mistakes can be erased using the eraser on the cap or on the end of the pen itself. There is a warning with the pens explaining that as the ink isn't permanent they shouldn't be used for things like cheques or anything that needs some sort of permanent ink. There are seven pens in the back - two blue, two black, one purple, one pink, one green and one red. However they are perfectly good for writing notes, even letters (does anyone write letters these days?), but not for anything which is going to be kept for a long time. Children will probably love the idea that they can rub out their mistakes.I shall be using them for writing my to od list and for notes and reminders to myself - things which are going to be thrown away once whatever is on them ceases to be relevant so their lack of permanence doesn't matter.

I must admit to being a little sceptical about this idea, but these really work. These are pens, with which you write. If you change your mind, at the end is a plastic grey tip which will rub it out. It doesn't seem to damage the paper (memories of school books with holes from rubbing out), and it works after time. I wrote something, and could still rub it out the next day. Now, this doesn't erase completely. There remains a faint line, but it is faint. However, if your requirement is about data protection, then this may not be ideal. But for day to day removal of writing to enable something over the top - this is great. The pack has two black pens, two blue and one red,all with a medium tip - so this is aimed at your day to day office / school work.I really like these, as do my teenagers (who seem to have just left me one pen...).

Good quality erasable ballpoint pens in five colours.UF-220 Signo TSI Erasable pens have see-through pop off caps and a silver barrel. The eraser which is quite hard and plasticky is at the bottom of the barrel and is cone shaped. While the packaging states that these are medium ballpoint pens they write quite finely and the colours are vibrant. The pens write smoothly and without blobs or smudged ink. It only takes a little pressure to erase the ink but unlike a normal eraser there are no left over rubber bits on the page. This is probably down to the more plasticky and hard eraser that are attached to these pens. The eraser does not appear to damage the paper either. At just under £2 a ballpoint, the fact that the ink doesn't smudge or blob out of the end and that they can be erased I would consider them good value.

The pens arrived well packaged and in pristine condition. I’m currently learning a language and like to keep notes as I go along in different colours. The ability to be able to rub out mistakes seemed a great idea. I seem to remember using a standard black pen with similar qualities around 20 years ago – and the rule then was don’t use them to sign official documents; and that goes with these pens too. So what of the quality? Well yes they certainly did erase. A minor flaw was that the ink quality wasn’t quite as vivid as I had hoped. But for writing in my language book, they were more than sufficient. So, if you are looking for erasable pens, these are a solution – if you are looking for ‘gel’ quality, then I suppose there is a trade-off. Certainly worth considering depending on the application you are using them for.

As with other reviewers, I received a pack with two black, two blue and a red pen, not the mixed pack stated. The colours in this pack are very ordinary - the colours in the more mixed pack seem rather more exciting. Obviously, if ordering these from Amazon, you need to watch what you order - particularly as the Amazon product page states that they are sold in a pack of 8, yet the picture of the product clearly shows only 5 pens in a pack. Having said that, I do like these pens - the 'nib' is quite fine and easy to write with. I don't often need pens that are able to be corrected, but I guess this might be good for students when writing essays etc. The ink does not erase completely, but it is enough to make an acceptable correction. Manufacturer's warning not to use when writing cheques etc, should be heeded.

These perform better than I dared hope. The ink dries quickly and even when trying I couldn't smudge it. The line is described as medium on the pack and this is beautifully consistent and smooth flowing. When you are doing a lot of writing, like hard copy exams, this is good choice. The rubbers on the end of the cap and on the end of the pen barrel are very effective, removing the ink but not scuffing the surface of the paper so if you re-write in the same place it looks exactly the same. One tip: when you are rubbing out your errors, put the single sheet on a firm surface to avoid creating the very minor indent in the paper that otherwise might be made. One star reluctantly deducted because while the description stated 5 different colour pens, the pack that arrived contained black x 2, blue x 2 and red x 1.

I can see the point of erasable ink for school work. My daughter uses erasable blue or black pens for exactly this reason, and it saves a lot of messy crossing out. But this pack is all "fun" colours that would never be accepted for school work, so it must be considered in the context of leisure use.The erasing ability is good for small corrections that get written over (it does not TOTALLY remove all trace, but makes the colour go almost clear, so not noticeable when over-written). Not sure how well it would work for artistic drawings. But I know some children like that thing of writing in different colours (sometimes from word to word), so this set would be good for that.Quite pricy for what they are,but as a fun gift with a but of novelty, these would be great

Nice to hold and a nice range of colours in this little set. Bit fainter than usual but I'm guessing that's so you can erase much easier (I might be wrong). They're not advised for legal documents as at certain temperatures the writing reappears - so any bound documents kept in storage for example. I didn't get the assortment of colours specified so be certain you're clicking on the right box if buying as a customer and not reviewing for free. They work, they do the job and they wrote well. They're a nice addition in my pencil case. The caps stayed put well and weren't too stiff to remove. My drop in star is that 5 pens for this price is a little bit steep but I acknowledge that they erase soI'm guessing the writing looks better erased than it would with whitener.

This is a nice set of pens and the good news is the erasing feature actually works. They come as set of five attractive colours which are blue, green, purple, pink and red. (not the 2 black, 2 blue and 1 red as per product description). They are light to hold and the ink flow is thin and uniform and not overdone which enables erasing to be done almost immediately with the eraser on the end of each pen. It does not erase without a trace, it leaves some mark exactly as a pencil would however for bookkeeping etc this would most likely be fine. The only downside is that the pink and red and the pink and the purple are quite similar and I would have liked a black in the pack and a case would have been a bonus.Otherwise a useful and quality set.
