Looks great (if you wipe water droplets at the end of the day), very stable, and can accommodate a sink sticking out of 1cm, but if your worktop is slippery in any way, the plastic feet glide and next thing you know the water is draining on the worktop. A bit of a nightmare if you just treated your wooden worktop (who thought of using wood for worktops?? Dumbest idea ever) and still are completely paranoid about it getting water on it.Rubber feet caps would have been a good idea Umbra. If you can stick the rack between the sink and something else (for me a Joseph flat drying rack that was there when we moved in, with excellent rubber feet), then you're good to go.Otherwise keep checking it hasn't moved. It does accommodate my very large (close to 30cm) square plates, which was one of my worries, so all in all I would say this rack is excellent. One less star for the annoying moving around the worktop on days I don't want to use the other rack.

Pros: Looks great.Cons: The holding spikes aren't as good at holding plates as normal toastrack-style plate holders. It's quite small, mainly suitable for a single person really, perhaps a couple in a pinch. It's rubbish for cups, it's hard to avoid putting them flat on the rack's base meaning the insides of the cups never get dry. The base of the rack itself needs regular cleaning due to unpleasant buildup of limescaley stuff near the drainhole and in the cutlery sections. (Dear Umbra, a perforated base would solve both of these last two problems, please feel free to contact me by email regarding my consultation fee.)You'd think after all those complaints I'd hate this thing, but I don't.If someone stole mine I'd definitely get another. Did I mention it looks great?

I really love this dish rack, design is superb! It comes in choice of colours, red was my favourite!I like that you can pick it up easily to clean underneath, I like that it is slightly tilted and the utensil caddy section also drains water... Spikes are great and allow you to arrange your dishes in whichever way is suitable. It is a bit on the small side, so I think not for more than 2 people, unless you have a dishwasher and use it occasionally.I removed a star because cleaning is quite tricky. I live in hard water area so it ends up looking quite bad quickly and spikes (feature that I quite like) make cleaning difficult...

Great idea, a drainer that fits in the dishwasher, no more scrubbing limescale off a drainer by hand and doesn't rust. Nice design, holds a surprising amount of stuff and the stuff doesn't fall over. People have complained about cutlery falling through the gaps - this would probably be a problem if you were using it for a lot of manual washing up but I have a dishwasher so it's just for the few bits that don't go in the dishwasher (or you want to quickly wash and re-use whilst the dishwasher is already running) so it's not a problem with a couple of wooden spoons and a kitchen knife or two.

Perfect size for our caravan sink drainer as most dish racks tend to be way too big. Sturdy drainer with useful handles, a drain hole and easy to clean. Although small in size it holds 2 place settings easily (plates, bowls, mugs and glasses) and due to the high sides, it holds everything safely. Plenty of room in the cutlery section too. The short/tall spike system is a much safer way to place glasses and mugs on, without them falling over as they do on many dish racks. Yes you do have to be careful where you place large dinner plates, but that is only a very slight negative to me.

I was in two minds about buying this drainer as it was considerably smaller than the one I was used to, but I have used it for a few days now and everything fits well in the draining part, because of the spike construction you can vary the stacking direction. If you have a large roasting tin it fits securely into the drainer short side first. The only slight criticism is that the draining spout could be a little longer, you have to be careful to position the drainer right on the edge of the sink. It looks neat and has made a big difference to the space available on my counter top.

I have never liked any dishdrainer I bought in the past so took some time before choosing a new one. This one is pricier than your general ones on the higher street, but again not the most expensive. It is sturdy, looks nice and is perfectly big enough for your average sized drainer. You won't fit loads of washing up on it but it is practically designed to drain various items and fit some items on the draining board. Very pleased. I have only used this for a few days but hopefully it won't get grimy as the wire style drainers do but it looks easier to clean.

I really like this drying rack. Umbra has put a lot of thought into the design. The high sides prevent splash from nearby taps getting onto the plates, cutlery, etc. The 'feet' raise the rack and avoid that scummy stuff collecting on the base which you sometimes find with other drying racks. Best of all, the spikes provide an easy way to fit almost anything onto the rack. One query though. Why does the product description say "Designed with chrome-plated metal"? This is nonsense. The drying rack is made of of BPA, a synthetic/plastic.

A compact dish drainer that is functional for the purpose intended. A simple design. It holds our 27cm dinner plates securely. No toppling over.It holds the chopping boards. There is plenty of cutlery space and it all drains the water away.We like the spikes for glassware. It is a good addition to our 2 person household who use the dishwasher daily, but hand wash drying pans etc.The drainer would also be an asset inside the sink if there wasn't a draining area.At the price this comes highly recommended. See photo attached.

Exactly what I wanted - a small drying rack that sits above the draining board most days, (suitable for two people) but can be moved over to the none draining side when more dishes require draining. The drain hole does not protrude but you can position the whole rack to drain over the sink. All in one piece and easy to clean (with a long handed brush) it is easy to move about with the carrying handles and small enough to fit my very small draining board. Excellent for moderate use for two people and occasional use for more.

Living in sheltered housing I have a tiny kitchen with an equally tiny sink and draining board. I looked around for ages to find a small washing up rack, most were too big and unflexible in design being based on the monstrosities of old. This is a radical design which I had my doubts about, but having now used it a few times I can appreciate that it all works brilliantly well and it fits my limited space without dominating it. It is also very sturdy and easy to clean, in all ways it is fit for purpose.

Much better than the conventional wire style racks, I invariably over stack the wider flatter ones however with this the bucket walls are nice and high, keeping stuff secure from slipping and allowing a surprising amount of dishes of varying sizes.Plastic is easily cleaned and after 6 months shows no signs of degrading or staining - as good as new. My cast iron pans don't leave rust marks and everything dries easily. Well worth the price for function alone but it's also very stylish. Highly recommend

I had a Simple human one before buying this but the feet on it had began to leave rust mark on the stainless steel top. I purchased this one and absolutely love it and its all plastic, easy to keep clean and will not rust anywhere. It is about the same size as my other one, so ideal for a small draining board. Water runs freely from the bottom and straight into the sink as it has a slight slant. It holds a fair amount of dishes and cutlery, plus the plates stand up better than my last one.

Very nice, very compact it holds a lot too it seems quite robust and is clean looking and easy to keep clean it allows more room on draining board, handles make it easier to pick up and put away or elsewhere if desired, it will even fit in the sink, nice lot of compartments for cutlery, I much prefer this to a wire rack, though it was a bit more expensive than other types of rack I think it is worth the money because it is exactly what I have been looking for, for some time.

take a close look at the measurements. it is great but doesnt fit in my sink. I use it a lot, and although I live alone I typically have a houseguest a few nights a week. it is adequate for my number of dishes. if you have a family of 4 and you only wash dishes once a day then it is too small. Then again, this seems like something very few people would do anyways. I love the color, look, and sturdiness of it. Feels very solid and good quality.
