This neat dish rack is a quality product that should prove ideal for a couple or small family. It is mainly made from strong, thick, silver coloured wire which is shaped to hold dishes and other items of crockery, but has a surround trim and a small, self-draining utensil holder both in sturdy black plastic. The utensil holder is easy to clean and can be slotted on any corner position. It is well designed and holds full sized plates with ease and safety. It is very stable overall, resting on strong wire feet covered in quality plastic. A wipe with a damp cloth after use will keep it clean and hygienic. I use it on the draining board at the kitchen sink. The makers suggest that it could be used in the sink, but, personally, I don't like the idea. I find it perfect for our purposes, but some may find it too small. To avoid disappointment, you should check the overall sizes in the product specification section. The sizes quoted there are accurate. It is very well made, should prove extremely durable and is good value for money.

The Umbra Sinkin In-Sink Dish Drying Rack is a well designed space-saver that could be perfect for use in the smaller kitchen or caravan. The rack itself is rather small and is designed to fit in your sink rather than standing at the side of it – in fact the rack is not very stable once it is loaded so really needs the security of the sink around it to provide some support. The rack measures 14 by 11 by 5 ¼ inches, it was designed by Helen T. Miller and is available in a choice of four finishes to match your kitchen colour scheme. There is a detachable utensil holder - which is also on the small side – that can hold a couple of sets of cutlery but nothing much bigger. This rack is a well-made niche product that will do the job it was designed to do – however, if you have plenty of draining space available a full size version would probably suit you better. This is a reasonable enough product at around twenty pounds but do keep in mind the small size.

I have been looking for a dish rack that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, isn't an eye sore, and is easy to clean, for TWO whole years. This is The One!- NO drying mat or drainer to get dingy and dirty- You can put it on a towel or a drainer (if that is your thing), OR inside the sink and save space and keep your kitchen tidy looking- The cutlery holder in my old dish rack got DISGUSTING and it was impossible to clean without having to wash the whole monster, this one: pops right out and you can clean it daily if you want!- It's small, and cute, and simple. All these being said, I must add that I have a dishwasher, and this is just for the odd thing we hand wash or rinse off.If this is going to be THE dish rack in your house, it might be too small for any household size above 1 person, and certainly not suitable for drying out pots and pans on.

Wasn't sure how this would look/ work, will it scratch the sides of my sink? It works perfectly.Fits perfectly into the sink. Feet have rubber and prevents scratching or sliding. Black rim along the edges is slightly raised which helps keep things together which also protects from scratching. I love the removable utensil holder, makes for easy cleaning and can be placed on any corner.Only con would have to be the plate dividers. My old sink rack (different than this one) could hold bowls and regular plates upright but this one has the dividers too narrow and tall which does not allow bowls of any kind to be held upright however would hold more plates. There is some space for a couple of cups/bowls on the flat surface which is great too.I recommend this sink rack; looks neat, clean, has a minimalist feel and I am happy with my purchase.

We don't really need one with a dishwasher but when the washer was in use, being cleaned, my other half has a habit of stacking things up precariously, especially plates against the tile walls. So when I go to dry, they came crashing down. Much muttering in the back ground, until I got fed up and bought this.It works very well, although the utensils tub is a bit of nuisance because it doesn't drain, so taken off. The only problem is when other half starts to pile things on it, on purpose I think, for which it was not meant, it is only small. One of the plastic rings on the bottom came off as well but it was easy to put back on.What I do like about is that if you do want to use the drainer for something else, you just pick up and put it on the unit top. Perfect to me, but some people you can't please.

We have a tiny kitchenette (living in student accomodation for 10 months) and was looking for a dish rack that could deal with dishes for two (we do a lot of cooking) but was portable enough to be tucked away when not needed (we have very little counter space for other food prep). This does the job perfectly. We don't use the utensil rack at all though, that's really too small to be useful, but fortunately you can just pop it off and use the dish rack as is. When the dishes are dry, we put the dish rack up against the wall (the black rim is flat around the edges so it balances well) and occasionally we put the dish rack in the sink itself to drain directly.

This dish rack is smaller than average, but fits perfectly into my smaller double sink. It has rubber on the feet and a rubber bumper all around so it won't scratch the sink. Both the rubber feet and rubber around the rack lift off for easy cleaning. I have owned this product previously, and I am happy to say that it has been improved! Formerly, the rack spacing was straight up so that you couldn't set plates into them. Now the spacers are angled so all size plates fit perfectly. Also, there appears to be a coating on the wire rack that makes it easy to wipe down. The utensil cup can fit on any of the corners so you can choose which way works best.

We bought this because we just moved into a new house and the draining place by the sink is very small. This was the only nice looking drainer we could find to fit.Having received it, it is good quality and looks smart. The whole item is small though, not fitting much on it, and even to the point where I am sometimes a bit concerned the plate racks are not big enough for our plates... They have never fallen... But I do worry. In the end we ended up buying a second drainer to sit on the side next to this, which is ugly and gets put away after each use.Recommended, but be aware of what the limitations are.

Having a Belfast sink, with no proper drainer, I’ve experimented with a few of this type of product, some great some not so great, always on the look out for something to help, dishwasher does most but we do like to drain something’s.This is surprising well made, steel wired I guess power coated. Its not massive, fairly small, Height is 6cm Width 35cm and Depth 30cm, for me its great for space saving, you get space for 12 plates, and a bit for cups that type of thing, plus you have a small cutlery holder.I like the drainer, check the size before buying, its not massive but Its still good.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by this product when I received it (after having read the many negative comments). The dish rack feels very solidly well made and reassuringly heavy. The cutlery holder, while certainly very small and not suitable for larger utensils, clips onto the edge of the rack in a perfectly secure fashion. The whole thing looks fantastic and so far I've found it very functional.I personally wouldn't describe this as a small dish rack, as many reviewers have- it just isn't a large, family size.Recommended.

I ordered this in sink drainer for my new ceramic double sink and it's fine. It is the right size to fit into the sink I have but it has limited space for draining because of the limitations of being in the sink, so not a product issue really. The only improvement I would suggest is that the cutlery drainer part on the corner is too small and its sides are low as most things bigger than a teaspoon fall out under their own weight. The slots are fine to hold plates or bowls and the quality is good.

I've actually bought this item 3 years ago in the colour MINT.It is still going very strong. My mother in law always liked mine and when she redecorated her kitchen, I knew what to get her.SIZEThis is the perfect size if you are using a dishwasher and don't need to wash-up every single day or only single items.PRICEIt is not the cheapest on the market.STYLEIt has a very modern, sleek design.CLEANINGYou can take the cutlery holder of, which is very convenient when cleaning.

I don't think my sink is particularly small but the taps are a bit funny on it and my problem is that the regular size sink draining racks tend to overlap on the taps. I needed something compact and this is just THE DREAM.Make sure to measure your sink, make sure to visualise the measurements of that little unit over your own sink at your home before purchase and you won't be disappointed. Very sturdy, feels quality, not wobbly at all, sleek, light, stylish and just so damn cute.

Great little product and versatile. The cutlery compartment can be detached and moved to whichever corner suits you, I like that. It fits in the kitchen sink and the feet have rubber attachments ...at first I thought this was part of the packaging but actually it's probably to protect against rusting. No regrets buying this, perfect for the small kitchen. I rested a large chopping board on it and it was able to stay standing without toppling over.

Great if you are tight on space this does the job perfectly, can get a bit unstable if you fully load it up. If you live in a hard water area because it’s so compact it can be tricky cleaning the limescale off.Best way I have found is to just dunk it in solution and leave it a while for it to get in all the tiny spaces. Overall quite happy with it.
