What can I say that the other reviewers haven't already? This is a fantastic hospital management game with a wickedly fun sense of humour. For anyone who remembers Theme Hospital, this game was made by some of the same folks involved in that, so it should be no surprise that it's intelligent, extremely detailed and utterly hilarious. I've been playing it from launch day and am still only half way through all the different levels/hospitals. For those worried about how well the conversion from PC to console was handled, let me just say that it's the best conversion of a PC game that I've ever played. The controls on the PS4 are beautiful; fluid, intuitive, well thought out.Everything is laid out nice and accessible. You're never bombarded with more information than you want at a time, you can keep it simple or dig into the details, whichever pleases you. The more I play, the more impressed and astonished I am at the level of detail they've managed to pack in to this "game". It really is a fantastic achievement, a true successor to the Theme Hospital of yore. The customisation is amazing too, and it's great to be able to turn on/off or up/down the volume of everything from background music to announcements to whatever else you like. They truly give you total control. It's an outstanding piece of work, and all credit to everybody involved in it. As an old fan from back in the days of the first "theme" games, this gets my utter devotion. I don't usually use words like "flawless", but it certainly applies here. Bravo, Two Point, and thanks for a fantastic gaming experience! :)

OK. I had to have this game. I was a big fan of Theme Hospital back in the day, and this one resurrecting that game in the same funny way was a must. The game has so many references to the original that I've stopped counting. The sicknesses, the room building, the receptionist voice telling you funny news, even the design of the characters is a reference to the weird animations of the original. The game, while able to translate all of its fun into the Switch system, continues to build on menus upon menus that don't work well on a console setting. It would have been best to change the HUD to make it more intuitive for those playing with a controller and not a keyboard and a mouse. Also, while the graphics are not too die for (and they don't need to, this is not Final Fantasy) they still make the GPU of the Switch suffer, and some animations, such as a room building itself up, are slow or skipping frames. Not smooth. For a game of just over £20 that's acceptable, and indeed a huge lot of fun, but it shows that like for like translations of PC into Switch don't simply work. They need love. And it seems this game's Switch version could have received a lot more love than it has.

Game is awesome. I love management games like this. It's real fun to be able to manage a whole hospital and each level introduces new (funny and fake) illness/diseases. You decide which nurses and doctors to hire based on their skills in the beginning. At level 3, you'll have to start training the staff members you have because none will have any skills when you hire them. The game is fun overall. The only thing is because it's such a huge and heavy game, it does get my xbox one s worked up a little and becomes warmer than usual when I play for a few hours. It also does not like huge hospitals that has about 30 staff. It gets stuck when using the staff list. One final thing, sometimes the professional person you hire to train the staff doesn't appear and the health inspector also doesn't turn up and it's just stuck on a loading notification bubble. I think it's a glitch as a lot of people have experienced the health inspector going mia

I don't normally do reviews but, for Two Point Hospital I'll make the exception. It is so much fun, If you ever liked Theme Hospital, Theme Park or any other simulation game, then you will love this game. Quite simply one of the best games of the year! I'm only at the third hospital but, it's fantastic, the way you can customise the rooms and staff, the tannoy voiceover is hilarious, the music is quite relaxing and the legend that is Freddie Mercury is bloody awesome. He has me giggling for hours with the way he walks around the hospital, dances and puts on a performance. I could probably write a review longer than your arm but, I really want to get back to this game so, to sum up I would say it's brilliant, engaging, with real longtivity and is fully replayable. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I really would. Buy it you won't regret it!!

This cute, tongue in cheek game can be very addictive as you start from the ground in building a hospital. From hiring people to designing the layout, you control it all. It gets so detailed that you even get to tell when you empty the trash or scan patients. It can be intense at times as you get more and more detailed, but overall is a fun, safe game. There are a few glitches in the game that will make you stomp your foot, such as times it not allowing you to place an object somewhere for no reason. But the glitches do not take away from the overall game play which is great. For fans of SimCity, Minecraft, even Warcraft (without the war) as you build upon what you already have.

I bought this game as I used to like playing theme hospital on the PS1. I’m pleased to say that it has not disappointed. Game play wise it is very similar to Theme hospital but far more superior. It’s really addictive and hell of a lot of fun! I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve clocked up on it. Anyone who enjoyed theme hospital, or simulation games in general will really enjoy this. The functioning and gameplay is really easy to pick up....I’ve not noticed any annoying bugs as of yet....things can get pretty chaotic, however there is always the option to pause action. I paid around £30 & feel that is a bargain for the amount of game I got. 100 % recommend!

Like Most of you I was living in a era of theme hospital and like many of you loved it so when Two Point Hospital came about I couldn’t wait!you’ll be glad to know I approve,Some things I’d say is it felt a little short and easy with an awkward camera at times but very pleasing on the eye and will suck you in right away for game after game in which you must build hospitals around a island to compensate for the needs of its people. At times I didn’t feel challenged and slipped into zombie mode playing it without any real thought to what I was doing but still a treat and sometimes different to many other titles I’ve played.#davja approved#

I have had a lot of fun with this game since purchasing it last week. Having played the original "Theme Hospital" on the PlayStation when I was 11 years old, I felt like I was a kid again managing my hospitals through earthquakes, equipment explosions and rat infestations! The graphics have had a bit of an update and there is actually background music this time (my PlayStation copy only had the voice of the sarcastic receptionist and music during the cut scenes). Perhaps pushing the release back was not the best idea given the attention on coronavirus at the moment, which may have hurt console sales, but it is a very enjoyable and fun game.

This is a game based on being a hospital administrator. The role requires you to build up the facilities and reputation of a hospital which then allows progression to bigger and better hospitals; thus furthering your career. My seven year old loves playing it and has found it easy enough to grasp the principle of the game. The onscreen in-game menus are difficult to read from normal sitting distance and some of the choices for the naming of people and hospitals leave much to be desired. This game requires minimal internet access and if you choose not to update is perfectly playable out of the box.I award four stars.Happy shopping.

My wife was a massive fan of Theme Hospital but for me I only played the Theme Park offering so when I saw that this game had been released and was by the guys who put together the original game I decided it would be worth trying to see what she loved about the original Theme Hospital game and I am pleased to say that this game has defied my expectations as the graphics are great, sound quality good and the actual gameplay works well which just makes for an overall enjoyable experience. The only problem I have had now has been getting to play the game as my wife has taken over the console with all her time spent on this game lol

Having heard all the positive reviews about this game and having loved Theme Hospital as a kid, I was worried this might not live up to the hype. I need not have worried! It's a brilliant game and I love some of the illnesses and rooms. The levels each have slightly different challenges and so I've not yet gotten bored of building a hospital over again each level, having completed the main game and most of the first of 2 included expansion packs. I did find I had to sit closer to the display than usual as some of the text was quite small on the screen, but other than that I am absolutely loving this game.

I loved theme hospital back in the day. I couldn't wait for this to come out. It's an amazing game. Much the same but added stuff. There are hilarious extremes in this. Namely the dancing Freddie mercury and John Travolta scenarios coming into the hospital. For the price it's well worth it and dlc to come. I couldn't wait so orederd mine on ps store. With physical copy u get extra dlc. If anyone can confirm downloading it u will get it too that would be very greatful. Prepare for late nights losing track of time.

If you are looking for a fun new management game then look no further than 2 Point Hospital.I believe it is an update of the classic Theme Park, being produced by many of the same team. The game is easy to learn. Plenty of fun to be had running multiple medical facilities, building rooms, employing staff and placing facilities. The graphics are entertaining & the Hospital Radio can be genuinely funny.Recommended. Especially if you loved Theme Park or Hospital back in the day.

The aim of the game is to build a successful hospital (it uses the American healthcare system so success is measured in money) it's fun and really makes you think about how to manage your little hospital. Graphics are very basic but in these games gameplay is more important of which it does really well. There are a few bugs to be found in the game but if you remain patient (pun intended) you can easily figure out a work around for most of them.Fun for all ages.

This game is fantastic. As a fan of Theme Hospital I am not disappointed. I'm not sure if there are more than three hospitals to unlock as I've only played this game for 7 hours and have had so much fun. The psychiatry department is a nice touch. I've unlocked hospital number three so now have the training facility unlocked. It's great that you can restart the levels and add new departments. I have nothing but praise for this game. 10/10.
