It's a great headset, I prefer it to the standard one that comes with the xbox. When I opened it, there was minor assembling needed (slot the loop into the headset, easy, too easy...) What's it like to use you ask? The headphone actually doesn't rest on your ear, the 'cup' rests above and below, suspending the speaker off your ear instead. t'is comfortable indeed, but a little more cushion on the non speaker end would be good. It doesn't dig in, it'd just be nice, don't be tight TB. Also it's lined with holes so you can hear what's going on around you better, which is great if you're like me and prefer your surround sound, or you need to hear something in one ear other than the mad gibber jabber of your party.

Many reviews state it's uncomfortable and flimsy, but one mans flimsy is another mans lightweight. The band is simple and plastic, but isn't particularly fragile.It's sits around the ear rather than against it, which I find makes it more comfortable for longer use, I preferred it to the stock Xbox one headset for that reason. I don't recall any discomfort from the band, but maybe I've just worn it in, it's no more uncomfortable than any other 1-ear headset I've had. It's open ear cover design is perfect if you wear glasses as there's no contact with them at allChat quality (mic and sound) is very clear, no problems with volume or clarity at allAll in all, maybe not for everyone but I personally have no issue with it,

It's a very good headset. Sound and voice quality is good. The device is nice and lightweight so I don't feel uncomfortable wearing it for extended hours and the glass-gaps are an utter godsend. Every headset (even the default XBOX cheap and nasty one) irritated my ears / glasses but these ones don't and I don't feel like my glasses are constantly being pushed into my head.The only-small complaint I have is that the 3.5 jack you connect to your XBOX controller has a right-angle connection. This means the wire points towards to where your fingers want to grip the pad and, well it gets in the way and you have to move it around quite a bit. - That's,

Product arrived promptly now before we go on this product attracted me as I have one deformed ear smaller than the other and I wear glasses, As soon as I unboxed the product I thought it looked great for the price, I have now used the item and can say finally I have found ahead set that doesn't slip off or knocks by glasses or makes that horrible squeak when the glasses run on the frame, Also I fine this very comfortable around the ear I also have scaring around the ear you see and this headset allows enough ventilation so it does not get hot sweaty and irritable. All in all a great product with good sound and clear speech when talking to a friend or group I have no negatives hope this helps,

Genuinely pleased with it!!! The voices are loud and clear, the way it's made you genuinely can still hear your surround sound and voices with no issue, my buddies hear me crystal clear, genuinely a great product.Cheap, million times better than the standard one you get with the ps4 (not hard I know)BUT!!!!!......people keep reviewing this item as having poor game sound.I have to defend it, IT'S NOT FOR GAME SOUNDSit's solely for the mic and hearing your team mates voices, if you want a gaming head set to hear your ps4 exclusively through it, DON'T BUY A MONO HEAD SET!!If you want a genuine great replacement for your ps4 mono mic head set, this is a great option

I have used this product for about a month now, I find it a joy to put on because it's very comfortable. I wear glasses and it's really comfortable with them.The sound quality of the speaker is exceptional. It's clear. It's not the best, but for the pricetag it's very good.The mic quality as far as I can tell it's very good, it's doesn't pick up much background noise so it's clear for others to hear you. The earpiece is comfortable enough to use for long periods of time.Comes neatly packed, with a 3.5 Audiojack cable already attached. You just have to attach the earpiece to the hand band, which is a easy clip on and then it is good to go, very easy. Would recommend

Bought these for my two grandsons for Christmas. There was nothing actually wrong with the head sets and they were what they wanted but I was just told 'Xbox One headsets' what I didn't know was that the fittings to connect to their Xbox one are completely different so they can't use them until I get an adapter so, for something that cost me £15, I now have to spend at least another £20 per item so they can actually use them. So for two of them they've worked out quite expensive presents. Why do they make them with different connections to the original? It's wrong and a con to make you spend more.

The earphone as arrived undamaged and working well.This is not a complaint, but when we joined up and put our name and address down that's okay this is needed.But I also have to put down my phone number why if the drivers is not going to use them?He/she could have phone me up say that they near Coalville to make sure we as a customer is in. Because this Item was delivered the day before the due date, which I don't mind, but it could if saved the driver time not to come back the second time and he/she could delivered somewhere else, that is what the phone number is for.

For xbox one use. Brilliant chat sound when I realised to turn volume up on actual xbox as well.I like to have only one ear piece so I can listen to game sounds or home sounds seperatly.I wear glasses and found it very comfortable. My ear and head do not ache after long uses.It is really handy that you can change which side to wear it as I like the mic on my left whilst my son likes it on his right. The mic moves either way. Brilliant idea.It is easy to put together and is sturdy.Highly recommend for price you pay.

Purchased to replace an old out of date unit. Good quality, plain yet stylish design, that is comfortable to wear, has good sound quality and a clear mic that makes use during game play an effortless task, this unit is a steal at its price. Yes there are far superior units out there but you pay the price for them.Great for kids who play a bit rough with things, if they break it then its not the end of the world at there price, but these are quite sturdy and will put up with a bit of abuse!

The Turtle Beach Recon Chat headset is a great bit of kit. The design is very good and it fits comfortably, without pinching when wearing glasses. The way it sits over the ear and has a gap for glasses frames to sit is fantastic. I can hear my surroundings and have clear chat coming through the headset. The mic cable could be a bit stronger as it has a tendency to droop, but it doesn't affect speech clarity in chat. This a big upgrade over the standard chat headset. Very impressed.

I’ve found it comfortable even after a few hours gaming. The speaker sits over your ear on not on it, allowing you to hear the tv clearly, the speaker is certainly loud enough to hear your mates clearly. They say they are glasses friendly which they are in the sense of comfort, I do find the arm of my glasses tough the foam padding which can cause a bit of a squeak. The flexible arm for the mic could do with being a little stiffer as it tends to drop down below the chin

It's a decent headset and good value for money with some interesting design ideas. The headset doesn't push against your ear but leaves a space so as to reduce any possible discomfort, as well as having a notch cut out so it also avoids pushing against glasses. My issues regarding comfort may be temporary as it is still relatively new, but when not adjusted correctly the padding can push against area behind the ear causing a little discomfort.

Headset is better quality than some of the other turtle beach headsets that have come out in the last few years, Head piece is very easy to assemble and get instructions on how to assemble, only one wire which is very effective, connects very easily to controller, only downside is the headphone at times can rub against my ear but apart from that awesome headset that I would recommend to anybody who is looking for a cheap headset which does the job

Wanted a simple, mono headset with a microphone so as I could chat to my friends online. Most expensive headsets are stereo, 3D sound etc, but I didn’t want to have the actual game audio, as I have a surround sound system for that. This is ideal, cheaply made, yes, but the audio is clear and my mates can here me fine too at the other end. They are very comfortable, and for the price you really can’t go wrong. Ideal for what I bought them for.
