Thought i'd give this a go because it looked a bit different and my Razer Deathadder had started to wear smooth and I'm definitely not regretting it.The second you plug it in to your computer you get the default cycling RGB spectrum effect and it looks fantastic, totally blows away the glow effect of a Razer mouse. Theres comprehensive software to download to customise it but after fiddling with settings for a while I ended up going back to default as it's so good. One small gimmick it also has is proximity sensing, you can have your mouse sat totally dark until you go near it and have it burst into life, I don't personally but it's something i've never seen on a mouse before and raised a wry smile.I'm used to having switchable DPI settings on a mouse I use at work (steel series)that has two selectable settings - this has seven which should you wish you can customise although why you'd want to is beyond me.Ergonomics wise i've sat and used it for a decent 6 hour non stop gaming blast and it felt comfortable with no real discomfort or strain so it ticks the boxes there.I do have one small gripe (and it is small), probably me just nit picking but it could be a little heavier, theres nothing wrong with the build quality, it feels sturdy enough and like it will last but i'd like it to be a little heavier, in time I might open it up and see if I can add some metal weights but other than that I have no issues with it at all.The brand might put people off but it really shouldn't, they've come up with an absolute stormer of a mouse and if you're into RGB you'll find nothing more dramatic to sit on a mousemat, highly recommended

I went for this eight button on the side rather than more as I like to have my thumb resting on the side. Any more and it would give accidental key presses. I have a Belkin n52te game-pad as well and this mouse is a great combination. The optical light under the mouse stays on when the computer is in sleep mode. All other computer mouses I have turn off on the same computer but not this one. I email Trust with the following..."Hi, I have just purchased a Trust Sikanda GTX 164 Mouse and it's lights power down when the computer is in sleep mode or turned off but the optical sensor LED underneath stays on constantly at full brightness.I am aware of the power states in the BIOS but after changing them it stays on in sleep mode but goes off when fully powered down. Besides, I have 3 mice here, a Teknet and two Microsoft Intellimouse's and they turn off when in sleep mode but not the Trust GTX G164. If this was a computer problem then wouldn't all the mice do the same thing. I only have one other desktop PC and it does the same with the Trust mouse but the others work fine. Having the sensor LED on for 24 hours a day 7 days a week will reduce it's life span. Is this a faulty mouse or just a weird Trust mouse feature?"This was the response I received..."Thanks for contacting usThis is not a failure, it' just the mouse feature.Kind regards,Customer care, Trust International B.V."So that's the only slightly annoying thing about this mouse but I can live with that.

I've been using the mouse for about 4 months and i have to say its not a bad mouse. My initial thoughts when i first got hold of it was it felt cheap and hollow but when i started to properly use it my impressions of it changed. The texture coating of the mouse feels like the same as the side grips of the good old MX518, its smooth to touch but grips well when you start to sweat, the sensor is surprising accurate and i can use it for hours on end without aiming errors & feeling any pain on my wrist. The software included is basic but it works well, as for the RGB lights; i never really use and can be turned off by setting the led to steady and brightness to the lowest setting (which is 5%).What i would like if they added a on the fly quick change profile change button option and a unlocked scroll wheel; these are useful in certain FPS games. As for the macro feature, it only records your key/button presses and not the position of your mouse. The gripes i have on this mouse is that the side buttons are somewhat high, buttons presses don't register at times (this happens on rare occasions) and a spare set of skates will be nice as i have already half way worn through it. Overall i find the mouse has the potential to be a gaming mouse (if you can handle the disadvantages) but not quite there yet.

The Trust Gaming GTX 144 Rexx Vertical Mouse is an extremely comfortable, easy to use, easy to modify and accurate mouse for both general use and gaming. The provided software allows for easy DPI settings, choosing between a single, two or several profiles to switch between different DPI settings. Each profile can be colour coded with the on-board RGB lights to display different colours, different patterns of colour etc..I have found the mouse to be very accurate when gaming across multiple DPI ranges for a variety of games including Rainbow Six Siege, Squad, Call of Duty: WarZone to Stellaris, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and so on..My only problem with the mouse, which affects me mainly during FPS games, is that you can only use one mouse button at a time. My previous wired mouse, a Steel Series Rival 100 could have multiple button inputs at the same time, which allowed me to carry out an action, switch weapon, aim, fire while using Push To Talk voice communications. Unfortunately the GTX 144 Rexx does not allow for his, so you will have to use a keyboard shortcut for PTT voice-comms, or go open mic.If they fixed this with either a firmware update or a future edition then I would be truly and 100% happy with this mouse.

Been using the mouse for Overwatch for about 3 months now and I am very happy with it. Used 2 other vertical mice but neither of them had the sensor that could keep up with my fast movements. The buttons are decent and the wheel feels well built. Buttons do feel a little bit stiff when brand new but nothing atrocious. They do become easier to press after some usage, Not sure if I've become accustomed to the buttons or they become looser after some time. basically, you grow into them.I had to increase my in-game sensitivity in order to relearn my arm and wrist movements for this mouse. Although I have been slowly decreasing the sensitivity as I have become accustomed to it.There are also some unusual habits I had to learn or unlearn. The main one being the neutral position of your mouse/arm should be at 1 to 2 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock. Because when you swing the mouse to the left when attempting a 180 turn in a game. there is not enough space for your arm to do it due to the position of your arm being in the handshake position where it will naturally curve towards your chest/body.

Due to hand problems probably caused by many years of gaming, I decided to try a vertical mouse. It has taken me a week to get used to the different grip etc. but there appears to be less stress on my wrist.PROSComfortable grip and I like the smooth silky-like finishButtons within easy reachGlides effortlessly over the mouse padCONSDifficult to click on icons/links - the left mouse button seems to be hit and miss. I have to steady with my thumb whilst doing a deliberate left button click. This may well be due to user error - when I click the button the mouse moves slightly pushing it off the sweet spot - hence my deduction of 1 star.Overall,I'm very pleased with this mouse and can recommend it to gamers especially.

Best vertical mouse I've used for gaming. The sensor accuracy is good. The mouse buttons also feel fine to me, so don't understand some reviews that day the mouse click is firm. The software to configure the buttons and lights work well. For some reason this isn't quite as easy to pick up as an anchor vertical mouse which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. For office use get an anchor as it's easier to pickup and is a very slightly better shape but no where near responsive enough for FPS gaming. For gaming don't hesitate to get the trust Rexx. It takes the pressure of the wrist, is responsive and accurate.

I have used a lot of different top end gaming mice over the last 20 years or so. This is a good stab at bringing a vertical gaming mouse to market that can compete with traditional mid to high end offerings. You might just want one in your armoury for those times when you get a bit of Repetitive Strain or Gamers Elbow - which is what I have done. If you can pick one up from Amazon warehouse all the better. Feels solid enough, could be improved but its comfortable, the buttons are acceptable it tracks well. My current main gaming mouse is a Zowie EC 1-A .

I don't know what's wrong with Amazon reviews - they lost my last edit. This is a pretty great mouse. DPI scaling from 250 to 10'000 and programmable buttons.Different profiles (lights, buttons and DPI) mean switching from gaming to 3D editing is simple.Definitely an improvement in my gaming! However, it's not very comfortable. I find myself gripping it with my fingertips as it doesn't fill the cup of my hand and my little finger slides off the side.I've played a couple of 10+ hour Fortnite marathons and no sore wrist.Well worth trying for £30

I got this for gaming and work, the customization is very easy with the driver, I have different profiles for the game and for coding. The lights are also really nice. It is very comfortable, however coming from a smaller mouse I have to get used to holding this a bit differently. The texture of the plastic is really nice, not slippery at all and feels high quality. For this money I don't think that there's a better mouse that's this good for gaming and work.

This is a great product and good quality for the price. The only issue I have with it is the alignment and support of the right button. I play MOBA games which generally require you to right-click a lot. When clicking the button moves out of alignment with the mouse and has a nasty zone where it grates against another internal part. It may just be the way I press it but worth keeping in mind if you use the right-click a lot for gaming.

I was looking for a vertical gaming mouse for some time as I've been getting pain in my arm and moved to a vertical mouse at work which has helped but still gaming at home with a normal mouse. This mouse has helped, pain is slightly less after long gaming sessions. Its a little light for my usual tastes and I might look at a way of adding some weight but overall I'm very pleased with it.

There are much more expensive mouses than that witch same options. That needs to be pointed. I didn't expect that mouse to be that well made and comfortable. A lot of programming options can make many MMO games easy. That ecxtra 7 buttons letting You to set up push to talk button with ought lousing more important buttons on the keyboard. Software is really easy to use.

This is my second vertical mouse like this, bought a cheap one first to make sure I would like the type of mouse as I have radial nerve damage in my hand and have trouble with standard mouse types. This mouse is a huge upgrade over the first cheap one I bought, lovely looking mouse and feels great in my hand, works well for FPS games and MMOs so far as I have tried.

1.5.2020

has a decent weight and my hand melts into it. buttons are nicely placed, but may have to re-adjust your grim to get to 7 and 8.the sensitivity on the mouse is controlled by two buttons just below the scroll wheel. have no idea why as nobody would ever change this regularly, however still 5/7 perfect score
