I wanted a T-38 A model just like the real one I flew in the Air Force. The real one was painted white (but not NASA markings) and this kit has decals for a black one. The plastic parts fit well and there are ones too tiny to even manipulate with tweezers. One of them shot out of my tweezers and was far to small to ever find. It was the "canopy piercer" on the back of the ejection seat and it wasn't exactly the right shape anyway. I'm new to making models and found the assembly instructions a little hard to follow. I'm sure experienced model makers wouldn't have any trouble. The only parts that didn't fit well were the canopies and the glare shield for the front cockpit.
