I don't think there are any other 1/48 scale Sea Fury kits available so if, like me, you're aching to build a model of this beautiful aeroplane in 1/48, Trumpeter is your friend.The kit is a fairly simple one - nothing to trouble a moderately experienced modeller and it can be completed with wings folded or extended and undercarriage up or down. The main control surfaces are also poseable although it would have been nice to be able to pose the flaps as well. Surface detail is OK with finely scribed panel lines but someone in the factory went mad with the rivets. This shouldn't spoil the model for most amateur modellers and can be corrected if you have the skill and inclination.

moulding good; no need for any filler; no flash; poor cockpit detail; if fold up wings, careful not to glue wing root, too far in .I did and needed to make new hinges.
