I have given the game five stars based on the fact that it costs less than a tenner and is a great game.However regardless of price it is still a great game in its own right. It would be an exaggeration to say its better than GTAIII or even as good as GTAIII, but that's not to knock the game, as few games are as good as GTA or Vice City.The game is played from a different perspective that GTA. In this game you are the good guy, the cop. You solve crimes instead of creating them. That certainly doesn't mean it is boring. Far from it. It is addictive and as it isn't quite as open a game as GTA you are propelled forward by the set story line. You can go off and 'play around'

OK, so this isnt GTA, and dont buy it if thats what you are looking for, you WILL be dissapointed, but on the other hand if you are looking for a genre crossing, fun game, then i would get this. The game has 4 main elements, Shooting, Driving, Fighting and Stealth (not a big part of the game), you are kinda forced into doing these at different times, but it works well, and it helps to keep the story flowing. The story isnt bad, but isnt great either, takes a few twists and turns, but is generally ok.I have heard quite a few people complaining about the camera in this game, but I've finsished the game and its only let me down twice. So its not really a problem. Graphiclly its nice to look at but not anything special.

After months of waiting True Crime is here! but does it live up to the hype? well yes it does!.You play the part of a renegade cop (you know the type you have seen them in the big budget cop movies!) and you join an elite team sent to clear up the streets.What streets they are!, the graphics are great birds fly up from the ground when you run towards them and passers by chat on mobile phones! and the playing area is HUGE.You get to drive around the city solving random crimes as well as working through the story missions, You can do some great things like tear through the town with your siren blaring out doing handbrake turns round corners and crazy jumps!.Why not try frisking a few passers by

well when i first heard about this game it got absolutley slated all my m8s eaid it was bobbins and i was totally put off from getting it, being a big fan of action games i decided to get it anyway and i think its a class game.the combat in the game is awsome with some great moves to do, the shottings great aswell you can do all the slow motion stuff like the matrix game and you can even do tricks when your in a car, ill admit the storyline is a bit cheesy but its supposed to have a movie feel to the game so arnt all action movie story lines pure cheese anyway?a lot of people have been comparing it to the gta series but i dont think you can compare any game to gta because those games have a league of thier own.also there are some great songs in the game like taproot,

True Crime was supposed to be better than GTA Vice City or at least have its similarities. But unfortunately the only thing the same is the brilliant music that accompanies the game at ecery minute.Anyway the game is quite good. Its storyline is set on the the character Nick Kang , a disturbed cop that goes back to work but ends up trying to find out the truth of what happened to his father.The way the game moves along is very good as because if you fail a mission then you can go onto an alternative mission, which is totally different in the area of gaming, is one of its highlights.The graphics are reasonable compared to GTA Vice City but nothing spectacular again compared to the hype surrounding the game prior to its release.Disappointingly,

This is a truely amazing game. the reason it has got such low reviews is that people had such high expectations of it that it could never reach. I have played and own both gta3 and vice city, and although in my opinion this is better than vice city it isn't quite as good as gta3. it has remarkable playability and is one of the most fun and addictive games i have played in ages. graphically it is okay it doesn't quite feel like a film or anything but it is functional and better than some games, such as midnight club2. I would say to people play this game before you buy it, as i wasn't going to purchase it as i had read poor reviews until i played it around a mates house and realised that it was

True crime - streets of LA is an absolute wicked game. The gameplay, graphics and storyline in my view are class. You go around beating the living daylights out of people with different martial arts moves and cruising aroung in different cars. In the game you are given missions to do and can solve typical LA crimes in the way. You are also given chances to win different guns, cars and martial arts moves, you can also search anybody on the street, whenever. True crime is like GTA, but in True crime your a cop whereas in GTA your a nutter. I would encourage and support anyone to buy this class game, which you will get easily addicted to, until you complete it(V Hard to do).

With true streets of L.A, the game play is good, above average, comparing to the versions of the getaway and grand theft auto on the playstation two i think it sits slightly above the getaway in total but cant beat the quality of GTA Vice city. The shooting is great, the driving is great the fighting is great but it all becomes a little repetative after a while. Especially the action! You are a cop fighting against crime in L.A unlike GTA where you are a criminal escaping from the police half the time. Your job is to stop crime, complete missions and bring down criminals for once and for all, its an easy game to master and a hard game to put down, i rate it 4/5. rob r

Made by Activision this game has a unique fighting system, the creators have mapped a huge area of LA. There will be no repeats of missions instead whatever happens in the missions will affect the game in future parts.You're not committing crime (per se), but stopping it. As Nick Kang, players will take the journey of an ex-cop fired for nothing but excessive violence, who has been recruited by a special ops unit to work the streets of LA. Best of all, they really don't care how the hell he does it, just that it gets done. It's every cop's dream.Random crimes will be produced and it's your job to deal with it. Its a great action/rpg/fighter for all to enjoy.

Are you ready for true crime , i know that the makers of grand theft auto vice city arnet. this is set to be the best game ever made.you play nick kang a badass cop who can batter perpitrators with is vast knowledge of kung fu and basic (yet deadly ) hand to hand combat . the location of the game is also something for the eye, its set in a perfectly recreated l.a which is 300 square miles of road and back alley to play with , you can use dual handed combinations with weapons and even shoot out of the window when your pursuing a perp. if you havent pre orderd this game then i suggest that you scroll back up this page and get ready for novembers real fireworks.

Well, this game were never supposed to be a GTA Killer, as many thinks. Actually Loxoflux tok some ideas from the Driver series from Ps1. True Crime is a very good game, combines Fighting, Driving and shooting into one game. And Luxoflux did a good job. Plenty of action, good story and a soundtrack that rocks the world etc. But the graphic isn't that good though, we could ecspect more on the xbox version. The game also have som glitches that can be quite anoying sometimes. But overall this game rocks!!

this truely revolutionary game sees you as eod agent nick kang, an ex homocide cop who has been called of from suspension to help stop the war going on in the strrets of la. the game has many differnt paths that you can follow giving you true freedom.blast, fight and drive you way around the city of angels whilst fighting russians chinese and koreans and delving in to nicks fathers shad past. This game is a game for GTA lovers, But this game adds realism not like GTA. True Crime has a great and gripping story line and lots to do. You can solve just normal street crimes on the way to a story line mission. I would ask all GTA lovers to buy this game and they will never put it down.

It is like gta vice city but better,okay the graphics let it down a bit but apart from that it is a great handling first person shoot 'em up and driving game so I give it a very decent four stars

this game rocks with the ability to search and arrest any body you lay eyes on to bust drug lords and drive like colin mcrae this game is a must buy!
