I brought this after reading other reviews. It is a good size and quite well constructed. I do agree with some other reviews though. The back part of this bag (where the trolly handle is) does need more padding/cushioning. I took this in to account when ordering this bag so was prepared for that to be the case. I myself have solved this problem for me by using a cushioned pet mat and attaching it with velcro. It's padded the back nicely. The back part does need the padding as when you use the trolly it is on a tilt and your pet would naturally lean to the handle part whilst in transit. This is a great bag for using whilst on public transport. I take my cat every 2 weeks on a train journey with me .And have had a number of pet carriers.

I really like this carrier, you can either carry it or wheel it. My cat is 16 years old now, and he’s a big heavy boy (not fat just a big chap), and I have been finding it hard to carry him on vet visits so this is ideal. My vet was also well impressed with it, and gave it a good look over. The choice of side openings or front opening means there will be something to suit everyone, and my cat cried less as he could see out better. I used the front opening and cable tied the zips together on the ends just for security. My boy is fairly calm, but if you had one set on escaping then having 3 exit points to watch would be concerning. It is a considered purchase, which is why 4 stars,

Fantastic trolley, well made with perfect description and resistant material. I carry my two little Yorkies as it was difficult to pull a trolley for each. They are happy to go everywhere and when tired, have each plenty room to curl up and have a nap. I love all the extra pockets and one even works as a water bottle holder. I love the mesh as it gives them freedom to see through all the panels. soft bottom and light enough to transport but resistant to carry my pooches. Super happy with my purchase as I could not find a big enough (usually all very narrow) trolley. THANK YOU

I bought this trolley to take my very heavy cat (over 7kgs) to a veterinary hospital. As I needed it for an appointment I requested a quick despatch and it was despatched and delivered very fast. Everyone at the hospital loved it (could have sold a dozen!) and it made it so much easier and more comfortable for my cat. It made the whole experience far less tiring and stressful. My cat loved the trolley - it was a long journey and he was in it for over an hour but he slept the whole time! A fantastic product - wish I'd found one years ago. Buy one - they are brilliant!

Very good and expensive looking. I know it wasn't exactly cheap but it looks amazing. The picture doesn't go it justice. It's "printed" (black on black) with upside down Gs as it could be have been made by Gucci. Very posh indeed.Easy to push or carry as the handle telescopes into a small compartment.How tough it is? I don't know as I only received it (very fast delivery).Cat likes it so far but probably because she doesn't yet realize she's is going to the vet's in it on Monday! She probably think it's for me!Would happily use it for a week-end bag too!

Took my cat to the vets in this yesterday and she loved it. It opens at both ends and in the middle. It was a lot bigger than I thought, so she has plenty of room to move about inside. I did have to put a thick blanket in for her though as the wheels and tubes at the back would have been uncomfortable for her. So the padding wasn't thick enough on the bottom and no padding for the back. She didn't seem bothered about going over bumpy bits and over all think she was very happy being wheeled about. She slept in it all last night. So a very good purchase.

This is brilliant and such a decent size ( my cat is quite large) I used to have real trouble carrying her in a hair case carrier, also getting her into this carrier is much easier as its flexible and soft. The only bad thing I would say is the back is a bit to soft and I think to have a hard board covered in a soft layer. Because when you tilt the carrier to roll if she's not lying down the bars press into her and it feels/looks quite uncomfortable for her. But overall a great product and made my life soooo much easier.

Being disabled and have found it hard to carry my cat, like and dead weight, into the vets with a normal carrier. When I found this item I was so happy. All the zip compartments work fantastic and my cat has already sat in it, on her own accord. The extra pocket in the back, make for a good idea to store her vet card and treats. The only thing I was a little disappointed with, is the fleece bottom the cat sits on, is not a soft and fluffy as I expected, but then again, she wont be in it for too long anyway.

Was much bigger than I expect and it is roomy for my pet puppy collie. Sturdy frame with metal wiring making the carriage strong. The wheels are noisy if pulled on rough surfaces that will be my biggest concern. But other than this, I could put in a thick seat cushion to make it more comfortable when the bag is pulled at an angle and my pet will be sitting in an angled (corner) of the bag, small issue. The fleece board provided is hardy but a bit warm for our warm climate in Singapore.

I have used this Trixie trolley for the first time today and wondered why I had never seen such a great product sold in my local pet stores. The trolley is versatile and can be used as a trolley or a simple carrier. My pet was happy to be in it and the ride over the pavement when I wheeled it didn't seem to bother her. She is a large cat and I don't think the Trixie I bought would hold anything bigger than a large cat or smallish dog but they may do the range in bigger sizes.

After reading the reviews I thought I would take the plunge due to my 2 fiends needing a trip to the vet and I wasn't prepared to carry two pet carriers. I have 3 cats, one large(aged 13 yrs), 2 sort of babies (they are a year old). this carrier holds my large cat comfortably, however, the 2 smaller cats are a bit squished in it when placed in it together. Even so, its Ok would have been better if they had made it the other way around, as it would have given much more room.

I chose this pet carrier as I have a rather large maine coon cat. He is far too heavy for me to carry in a conventional carrier as it had to be very large. This fitted the bill. It's just big enough for my cat and is suitable for short journeys to the vets etc which is why I wanted it. One downside is that because it's a soft carrier your unable to put the seat belt around it, other than that it's a good carrier and my cat is very happy to go inside without too much hassle.

UpdateNo issues at all. Sometimes tricky getting my blue boy in but that’s the same for any basket I’ve had. I would definitely recommend if you want to leave the car at home. Vets seem to like it as well.The pull along bag has been excellent.My 8kg boy is very happy to be transported like this.It’s been fine and there have so far been no issues but I would just like to see sturdier zips for peace of mind.Wouldn’t stop me buying this bag again though.

Excellent value for money. Used this to transport my Shih Tzu across London by Taxi and on a 2 hour train journey. My only small point would be it would be better if one of the mesh windows had a clear pvc window for the dog (or cat) to see out of, I actually machined one in and cut out the mesh on the front panel and used a leather hole punch to punch air holes in it and my dog was much happier when it could see out.

Bought this for my two cats that squeeze in - but it's only a short journey and I can go on my own without assistance to carry two baskets. So they tilt a bit on the wheels, but it's comfortable inside. Very well made with a water bottle pouch and larger pouch for papers or harnesses at the back. Lives under a table in the house with one end open and any one of the cats sleeps in there when they want. he fancies.
