This is one of the best toys I've found for our elderly staffie. She had an obsession with sticks and tearing off the bark and I was looking for something to stop this as I was worried she would choke or hurt herself. For some reason, she really took to frisbees and I tried a number of different makes, which annoyingly didn't last very long. Her strong jaws would often break them just from her picking them up or giving them a quick shake. This make is perfect for us. We don't play much with it though because of her age and arthritis. She actually prefers to trot round on her walk carrying the frisbee in her mouth. (Great result because she can't pick up sticks!) She even brings it to me now when she wants to go for a walk!I like the fact that the rubber is soft in her mouth and quite robust. When we do play, the frisbee flies well although there is a knack to throwing it. The bright colour makes it easy to spot in grass and it can be easily rinsed under the tap afterwards. Our frisbee has lasted just over a year - so it was a really good value buy for us.

unusual design my dog loves it. its very good in the wind unlike the skyrider i previously posted on. the dog can easily pick it up from any angle and the rubber is tough enough not to tear in his teeth. very durable. perhaps the center could be improved to incorporate heavier rubber to make more rigid. and make for longer distance flight. at times its a little to flexible. i was not happy with this item at first but has grown on me and after using everyday for past month. have adapted the way i throw it compared with other frisbies. best to throw in lower position from below waist. and 99 times out of a hundred it will lift. also has to be thrown a little harder this takes out the wobble in flight.which im sure is caused by its flexibility. but on the whole id say just about right for price, especially being durable and plyable. if the center was improved i think this would be a great seller and a tremendous fun for anyone to use.

I bought two frisbees to try with my Labrador after he had to have stitches in his tongue from playing fetch with a stick (word of warning to others!), the other frisbee being the Rosewood Petstages Orka Flyer. I much preferred this one over the other as it lighter and more aerodynamic. My dog absolutely loved both frisbees however we did have a few hiccups - Whilst this frisbee does stay on top of the water if you throw it upside down, it's not actually buoyant, so if my dog accidentally jumped on it whilst being too enthusiastic it sunk to the bottom. We had to have a couple of rescues with a long stick! He's also managed to chew through it now after about 3 weeks but I put that down to him more than the frisbee,he was treating it more like a chew toy. Overall, I actually really like this product but I'm going to try some more floatable toys - Chuckit amphibious bumper, here's looking at you!

Initially, I left this frisbee only two stars, as on first use I found it to be unimpressive as it simply fell to the ground when thrown. However, after persisting with it, it is now one of my dogs favourite toys! The initial walks we had using it must have been very calm, breeze free days, in which case I had no joy getting the frisbee to soar. On a day with a little breeze though it works a treat, it flies for miles! Also impressed with the durability of the rubber and the fact it doesn't hurt my dogs mouth as a plastic frisbee would after time. This is not a toy for chewing or playing tug of war, if I left my dog alone with the frisbee she would most likely destroy it,it is a toy I take with me on walks for her to chase. Very happy with this product!

When I opened it I thought is was a little on the small size but within minutes playing with the dog (a collie) it is the best thing ever! As long as you're on the flat or going down hill this flies well, won't fly upwards as it pitches itself level. But with pitching itself isn't bad for a dog toy, it teaches you to throw it at dog height so the dog will never leave sight of it. My dog has always had ropes or tennis balls and is a little git for ripping them apart but within the first day he was leaping and catching the disc and after a week of him trying to chew it to death it doesn't have a tooth hole in it.After two years it still works as well as the day it arrived and doesn't have any teeth marks.I couldn't recommend this any more, IT'S GREAT!!!

For flying these are superb. Nice and light. I have a Jack Russell who likes to chase it, savage it and then return it. For that it will last for ages. However, she also likes you to grab it and lift her up in the air with her lock jaw. The middle of the frisbee is not robust or thick enough for that and even her smaller (and not that sharp teeth) can pierce the frisbee if shes locked onto the centre. If your dog has savaged loads of frisbees in the past I doubt these would make much sense but I've bought loads of them over the years and generally they last around a year for our very strong jawed JRT.The dog loves them and is really OCD with it carrying around all over the place.

Excellent toy for my boisterous German Shepherd. The material is very durable - I frequently have a tug of war with my puppy and this thing is rock solid. It picks up grass and dirt quite easily but it's easy to wash off under the tap or with a hose. It's slightly awkward to throw if you're used to throwing regular frisbees, there's a slight learning curve but you'll get the hang of it after a few walks.I've lost about 3 of these now (tree, tree and river) but the pup loves it so much I keep buying him the same one.Be prepared to have your hand come in contact with an obscene amount of dog saliva. If you don't mind puppy dribble then I highly recommend this product.

We got the purple frisbee and my dog loves it! It’s a good colour so it stands out from the fields. It dries very quickly which is great after we’re finished playing and is a soft rubber so doesn’t hurt when she *tries* to catch it in the air! It flies incredibly well and in the wind can get some real speed. It also is bendy so can be folded into a bag. My dog is a big chewer so I have kept it away from her when at home but even so we have had it for around a month and in fields sometimes she chews it and there are absolutely no teeth marks which is amazing! (She is a labradoodle). Definitely the best frisbee we’ve had and if we lose it I’ll be sure to buy it again!

►Review of: Trixie Dog Disc, Natural Rubber, diameter 15 cm◄Pretty decent - soft rubber, bright color, flies great (if you throw it properly), and it's been outside on the grass in the snow and -5c temps for two months, yet it's still perfect and fully intact. Although, as it's winter my puppas haven't been playing too much outside so we'll see come summer when they're going crazy with it all day.The small one is thinner than I realised so a 10-15kg dog or large will likely bite straight through it, but for small puppas it pretty good.??;??/????? ????????:⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Nice little toy: flies great, soft, and durable, albeit a bit thin so only good for small dogs.

Absolutely impressed with this product! It was smaller than I expected, but since my dog isn't huge, it doesn't really matter. It seems quite strong (though I'm not sure it would last long with an avid chewer) and I've found that it flies amazingly well - even better than some of the rigid plastic discs I've tried, and definitely better than the Kong flyer (which is too floppy to be hurled more than about 20m). I'm not sure I would risk throwing this (or any other pricey toy for that matter) in the water, though.I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone with an energetic but gentle-mouthed dog!

I've been buying these frisbees exclusively for about 6 years. They fly great, are a soft catch for the dog, they float, and they last a fairly long time. Dogs can chew through them if you are stopped having a chat and they are alone with the frisbee, but even if they chew out the center they still fly reasonably well. Don't leave it with your dog as a chew toy and you and your dog will get a lot of fun out of these. Oh yeah and the 22cm is the best flyer. The big ones are too floppy and the small ones are too quick and don't stay aloft. Best thrown head on into a mild breeze. :)

So if my dog could write this review it would go something like this‘Oh what a fabulous toy, and it’s all mine.No longer will I need to steal other dogs toys on our walk, and run off playing with it, being reluctant to give it back, as I have my own!! I can now ignore ANY other dog, leaving my owners to just have to concentrate on how to get this fabulous runner toy out of my jaws and throw it again, rather than have to run after me as I want to talk to EVERY other dog in town that I see’So pretty much a great toy that my bulldog (whoever said their lazy lied!!) just adores.

This was bought for my playful Labrador to enjoy during her walks. She likes it so much she goes and helps herself to it for in the garden. I've attached a photo to show the size of this product. My girl is a yellow lab and as you can see it is an ideal size for her. I would say it would be great for most sized dogs.It is lightweight and easy to carry on walks, it flies well. The only thing we have noticed is when it lands it is pretty flat so can be difficult for them to pick up and bring back. Apart from that it is brilliant, as long as you don't mind the retrieving part.

24.8.2020

Though if you leave your dog with it then unless you have a well trained dog it will chew it like a stick. I bought the small one for my pocket. It may be small but it flies so well. My lab always tries to catch things and this rubber does no harm when it bounces off her. The down side is that I guess some dogs will just tear it to pieces if they are not trained. so if you have a dog more interested in chewing than playing with you avoid this and buy a steel one! It flies so well it is great fun for me so I put up with the arm ache.

Great toy! Thick durable rubber which is kind to the dogs teeth. Yes, it probably can be chewed and ripped to pieces if your dog is a destroyer of toys! So if you plan to leave him/her unsupervised with this frisbee then it's probably not the best choice for you. But if you plan to have some fun one-on-one time with your dog and he/she likes chasing rubber discs then it's a perfect choice :-D This does fly really well and my dog loves to chase it. I prefer it to the hard plastic frisbees as I feel it is safer for my dog's teeth.
