I read reviews about Turtle being unreliable with singing, but I was mainly interested in the swimming, so got it and he does indeed swim well with an easy wind up device that babies can master. My 10mo absolutely loves him. He feels sturdy, and is robust enough to have survived a few throws onto the floor from the bath. The singing worked perfectly for the first few days, now he's been getting bath action every day for a month his swimming is still great but the singing doesn't work about a quarter of the time. The funniest thing is that sometimes he spontaneously breaks into song when no-ones in the bathroom! Adds to his mystery, I think.

Bought this for my son for more fun at bath times and to occupy him. Read the reviews on this and thought would give it a go.First impressions, Loved it.After having first bath time with it, was a little disappointed. the swimming is fine, but the singing (which my son loves the most) is practically drowned out once in the water unless placed on his back.Still entertained my son for a little while, and is actually more entertaining out of the water, as my son loves to sing along with it.good value for money, and fast delivery :)

Bought this for my son, he loves it. Used daily at bath times, our son now sings the 'turtle tune' at any time, but, endearingly, especially as he climbs up the stairs for bath and bed time. Great value toy, AND we are still on the demo batteries! The turtle swims up and down the bath, and sings/hums a tune. Turn the turtle over & he continues to gargle away under water. Obviously our son is too young to be able to operate it himself but then that's what parents are for!Good value for money, and fast delivery

We bought this as a Christmas present for my 20 month old son, who had enjoyed playing with the swimming fish and frogs at his swimming lessons. My son loves the turtle's singing voice, gurgling on his front and singing on his back and finds watching him swim good fun. The winding mechanism is ready to go as soon as you turn it so we need to wind the turtle up for our son... does love pressing the crest on the turtle's head though to make him sing! A good fun toy for bath times.

Bought this for my 3 month old nephew, he can't play with it himself at the moment but it does bring a smile to his face when its in the bath....althoug his dad seems to enjoy it a whole lot more as you hear it singing when the little guys not even in the bathroom! :)Edited 24/4/13 - My newphew is now 2 and he still plays with this in the bath although I think its a bit water logged now as it's singing is a little garbled - but its still being loved

Tomy the turtle is so much fun, my son loves it still , he is 19 months and play all the time with it. The song is so funny.. mammmammaa ma ma ma ma ma ma.. and so on . And when under the water it sounds as if he had water in his mouth. It is easy to wind up , so now. he does it on his own. the Batteries don't last much are there are so many of them.. I believe 3 of them?.. for such a small toy. But it is definately fun!:

I bought this as a gift for a 1 year old little boy and his Mum said he loves it. As per other reviews I have read, the Adults love it just as much. It is funny to hear him humming, and gargling his way through the tune, and you can't help but smile. I can't speak for the durability really except to say that it appears well made, but how long the singing continues we will have to wait and see.

We bought this for our 8 month old son and it's great! The turtle swims up and down the bath, and sings/hums a tune. Turn the turtle over & he continues to gargle away under water. Obviously our son is too young to be able to operate it himself but then that's what parents are for! We're really pleased with it, and are already planning to buy it for other babies & children we know.

My daughter loved the turtle. No so much at the begining as she was quite young and couldn't work it. She just chew it and got the son on a few times doing this.Once she found it interesting, she could not have enough. The tune stick in you head and you find yourself humming it on the way to work. It can drive you crazy some days. But is all about them having fun.Buy it!

this toy is very good.it makes the chidren laugh when he starts singing while he swims.would recommend this for any young child.the toy is smooth with no sharp edges.the batteries are seeled in a space underneath the body which is protectedwhith a rubber washer when you tighten the cap so the water will not seep in.also light enough to float on top of the water.

I have brought battery operated bath toys before and they always stop working after a few weeks for some reason, so I wanted to find a toy which didnt require batteries, and here we are. Its bigger than I thought (in a good way) and its wind-up so you cant fail, the baby loves it and keeps her entertained for her length of time in the bath, a very good purchase.

I first came across this wonderful bath toy at a friend's house. Her little boy loved it and the way it sings is what made me want to get one for my niece. It arrived quickly but the batteries were on their last legs and so he couldn't sing. To avoid the time it takes to exchange the product I opted to replace the batteries, very annoying!!

I bought this for my 1yr old niece, who loves bath time.The moment it arrived, my husband and I opened it and could not stop laughing as the turtle sang his lovely song.My niece and sister love it but not sure about dad?! HahahaIt's brilliant and would recommend it for all children who adore bath time.

Although my little one is only six months old he watches this toy swim up and down the bath whilst it sings, I think its great value would definitely recommend. We loved it so much we bought the tomy swim and sing penguin which in my opinion isn't as good as this piece but still very good.

I have yet to actually show this toy to my baby as the batteries are flat, dissapointing as I thought it would work straight out of the box. The product looks good and it will be great for the pool to get him motivated. A trip to the shops now for some new batteries.
