There is a lot with this toy. It's super interactive, you play with it and you get points which help Rizmo grow. It starts off as a sort of fuzzy weird shape. Think of a ball that's been squished slightly. It has colorful eyes that light up in the fur and makes cute noises in response to how you play with it. When you've played with it enough, it grows up to its next form where it now has a little mohawk looking thing. Repeat and it grows into it's final stage where the toy finally opens up and you see each actual face, mouth, and limbs. When you reach the fully grown stage, two new play options are added. You kind of need to keep the book handy to remember which color corresponds to what play. When the kids first saw it in its first closed up form, they all tried to open it.... and succeeded... Of course everything in the manuals say DON'T OPEN because you may break it. So just keep an eye on the kiddos before they grab at it. I was able to fold it back to its original state but it took quite a bit to figure that out. Once it grows up and reaches the last stage, you can't make go back. The booklet says, just like kids and pets, once you grow up, you can't go back. I get that... but this is a toy and I'd like to be able to reset it to give to another child to play with and see it grow. Also, I know the voice is supposed to be high pitched and 'cute' but I couldn't understand what it was saying a lot of the time. They had a lot of fun with the anticipation of getting it to grow and seeing what it will do but they got it to its final stage or the first day we opened it. I think it's fine but eventually the kids got kind of bored with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

All my children were furby mad so when this little chap was likened to a furby I thought time to make my six yea4 old niece a happy bunny.Well this little bundle of joy starts off as a little baby....no play or interaction it stays exactly that, so it’s a wickedly clever little toy teaching that child all about love patience and cuddles. The more time and love, the more cuddles and singing the bigger and brighter he gets and more he responds and copies you. It comes in a variety of colours and is as cute as the old furbys were. He responds in a similar way by copying and repeating. Price point varies but be prepared to pay around forty to fifty pounds for it.When you press his head his eyes change colour and he changes mode of play.He copies your voice, my niece loves it when he sings her songs right back at her.Comes with batteries but would advise if giving as a gift buying an extra set of batteries. Easy to fall in love with this cute little guy.I wasn’t blown away by packaging to be honest it garish and overpowering*, just what kids love, and boy is this guy lovedWould I recommend, yes I would. I wouldn’t recommend for under six years old due to design and for this to reach its potential ur child needs to be patient kind and loving., patient being the key word here.Once this has grown it won’t revert back to baby Rizmo.Loved to death, batteries included and I suspect a Christmas 2019 must....highly recommended.

This is a pretty amazing toy. I'm a bit of a technophobe, so I don't think I have figured out everything it can do, but here goes: the box contains a furry 'egg' which is rizmo. We have the one called snow. Happily the batteries are included. After a little while figuring it out, we pressed something, and an ear popped up! The rest of it gradually unfolded, and we were greeted by the cute little fella in the pic. Gizmo sings about seven songs, you can also sing a song which he will repeat back to you, and he has seven games (I didn't work that part out fully, as I had to wrap him as a gift) . Gizmo also babbles in his own language, and there's an info sheet to allow you to evolve him as for child grows. It's well worth the money, being a fun, interactive toy which will grow with your child. The quality of the toy is also good, and it's nicely boxed. The problem? I want one of my own!

This is a surprisingly heavy, cuddly toy which has been beautifully and compactly gift boxed. It is not cheap (£49.99 November 2019), however, there is no denying that this toy is rather cute and comforting. The toy does require batteries (4 x AA) and these have been included. Instructions are also included. It is a musical interactive toy which magically ‘develops’ the more a child plays with it. As the marketing blurb goes, ‘This musical toy will call out to you, sing with you and dance to your favorite music. Rizmo can even remember some songs and sing them back to you when you need them’.Press its head and different colour ‘eyes’ shine and appear. Rizmo babbles and ‘converses’ which is really appealing to a toddler.Shake and it even blows raspberries and giggles. My two year old loved it!

If you have a child who loves interactive pets, and you want a bit of peace, then I really recommend you listen! This is a furry interactive toy, available in 3 colours and 2 styles. You can pick the colour, but what style will you get?Unboxing you get one fur ball that is quite demanding, you have to sing it songs, swing it around and even give it a round of applause. The more you put in, the quicker it opens up! But it can be some journey, so younger kids might give up a bit too soon. But once it fully opens up, you have a fully interactive pet, we have 2 agggggh! Thru can be noisy but there is an off switch.I got on offer, such a bargain and I fully recommend this product. Both my children loved it,a lot!

Rizmo is a fun toy that offers a variety of ways to play. My six year old daughter loved exploring Rizmo and discovering all the ways it plays. Her favorite thing was Rizmo's ability to repeat she says in its own voice. Rizmo grows through play, so it needs to be played with before it fully grows. Out of the box, Rizmo reminded me of a furry egg - no ears, mouth or any features, just two glowing circles like eyes. My daughter enjoyed playing with him, but I wish he grew faster because she quickly lost interest when he didn't do anything after about 30 minutes of playing. This is a fun toy, but definitely requires patience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is such a good toy for my five-year-old And my three year old. Normally they will play with a toy like this for a couple of minutes and move onto the next thing, but that is not the case with this toy. This toy is one day take everywhere and love to play with. I have had to buy another one to entertain both of my girls. and my three year old. This is another one of those ones which makes no sense to me, but the kids seem to like it fine. The gimmick here is that by doing certain things (talking or singing to it, for example) the toy will go through a few evolutions, until it reaches the final stage you can see in the picture. This is quite a nice gimmick, which the kids did enjoy and they like the final toy, which they still play with. The only thing is, I can't see a way to reset it, so if you wanted to do that again, well, you can't. Over all a nice toy though.Weird. But why not.

My little one (5) absolutely loved this toy. It's hatching process takes a couple of days because you have earn points in order for it to go to the next stage. It has several interactive games for the kids can earn points, they even get points for putting it to sleep. we really like that you could cheer and help him switch stages. it definitely kept her entertained. She also insisted on sleeping with it. One of the best part is you can close him back up and re-hatch him over and over. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Rizzo interactive toy compared to other interactive toys that I have bought for my child is one that keeps them busy longer and is such a neat concept of nurturing and caring for another thing. I love the idea of teaching them to give attention and nurture in life. I would definitely buy this toy. I was unaware of this product before but I'm very glad that we've come across it. I would definitely recommend for anyone with children of all ages to try this [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This toy is suitable for children who understand empathy and has patience. I would recommend this toy for 7 years and above. Rizmo starts as a small baby and only grows if it is given attention, such as cuddles, sing songs to it and put it to sleep. If it is done continuously it will grow. If it is not happy it will not grow. My little one had to learn to be patient to see her Rizmo grow. She really enjoys playing with it. Our Rizmo grew up to be a pop star but you can have a hip hop Rizmo too.

We had previously bought a Hatchimal, and comparing the two this is much better. It goes from baby to kid, then fully-grown. They reached that after a few hours of playing. It is easy to understand how to operate the different functions (no need to keep reading the instructions) and it doesn't repeat what it does, it surprises you with new things from time to time. We had the Hip Hop one, and my fave bit is where it turns you voice into a hip hop tune, editing your words and changing the pitch.

We opened Rizmo with care and my 2 daughters were excited right away. We had a quick read through the instruction and play book and noticed Rizmo's eyes light up different colours to indicate 5 play modes. By earning points completing the modes, Rizmo evolves. Overall we spent around 3 hours playing for adult Rizmo to evolve. We had great fun playing with Rizmo especially recording songs. It's something different for children. My daughters were ecstatic when Rizmo evolved in front of them. Fab!

Kids found the evolution really exciting. It feeds on songs & play.Need to record 15 songs & gain 35 musical points for each evolution. This is super easy & we felt it evolved a little too quickly. After approx 5-6 hours of play we had a fully grown Rizmo. We would have liked this to take longer as this is the most fun part & kids lost abit of interest once fully evolved. That said there is 2 new modes of play unlocked & it is still fun and interactive! Its worth the price tag as it is really clever.

My kids loved playing with Rizmo. It only took a few hours of interacting with it to evolve into a kid (it's tail sticks up) took another day or so to fully evolve into Rizmo. Can interact in a few different ways, talking to it, rolling it, dancing with it and rocking it to sleep, it also copies what ever you sing/say to it which had my kids in stitches. My eldest (8yr old) preferred it once it had evolved but my youngest lost interest once it had turned into Rizmo!! Great fun interactive toy.
